As much as I feel like flaming you for flaming me I wont lol
Mine takes a fair bit of time to start,
when I turn mine off and then turn it on, I light up a cigarette, smoke it all and then the phone finally starts up.
If your one completely doesn't start then you might need to do a hard reset.
If that doesn't work exchange it as you may have gotten a faulty handset.

Screen "vibration" (flicking?)

Hi all,
as my signature says... yes, I sent my X1 to repair (cracks, as always). When I got it back, it seems to be perfect. Outside. Switched it on and it seemed ok.
As soon as I came back home, I noticed that the lower part of the screen "vibrates" (I can not define it in a better way... I suppose the right verb is "to flick"). At sunlight I did not noticed it, but at home and in the dark it is really really visible (and annoying, on a 600€ brand new phone).
Does someone ever had the same issue? or does someone know how to solve it (apart from sending it again to repair).
Thanks!
P.S.: searched the thread and foud nothing. Searched in google and just came up with a "refresh" problem, that does not apply to our X1... or can we change the refresh rate?!
I did once experience what I believe was the same issue, the flickering screen. The problem was still there after a soft reset and power cycle, but then after leaving the phone for a few minutes it turned back to normal.
Unfortunately I don't think I be of much help here as I don't recall doing anything special to get the screen back to normal.

I need some assistance with my MyTouch

So this morning I was in a argument with this female and she hung up on me. I threw my phone probably 90 mph towards the wall. Everything broke for the most part. The screen has a lil crack but nothing too serious.
Now though I cant go into recovery mode and it wont boot up. I tried to take it to Tmo to swap out but the rep actually knew some stuff and figured out the screen was cracked so they wouldnt swap it.
I can boot if I hold volume down and end....is there anything i can do???

It can't boot up, but you think doing some other function will make it work again..? Um, what I'm getting is that your phone doesn't even turn on...

He said he can boot with voldown+end
anyways if your phone doesn't work after you've thrown it to a wall, it is certainly not because of a software problem... if you can go to hboot you could still try to reflash a SAPPIMG.nbh file but I doubt that it will solve your problems.
Ah, My bad I misread that. But still, I came to that assumption because... how does nothign else boot but that function? lol

Touch Screen Non Responsive

All of a sudden my touch screen stopped working, i locked the phone and went to unlock it and nothing happened, have tried normal resets, hard reset and just relashed rom but no luck...the hardware buttons work to an extent but when i press on the touchscreen nothing happens,
has anyone experienced this or is it shagged?
I managed to save my data with the wonders of my mobiler.
umm help, please.
amazing...in fustration i punched my phone(quite hard) and it came back to life.
lol, yea i think that's in the service manual.
if that happened to me i think i'd be sending it off for service anyway,(but not saying i punched it!)

[Q] Don't own a G2, found someone selling a bricked one for $100. Worth the risk to b

So there is a guy in my town selling a bricked G2, his ad says "was trying to root my LG G2, Now it wont turn on or anything, even when I try and charge it or plug it in. No idea what do to but dont have time to figure it out and needed a phone for work so have already replaced it."
I don't have one of these phones or know anything about the specifics of rooting them or installing ROMs on them, but I have installed them on my own phone (Optimus G) as well as bricked my own phone a number of times and fixed it.
My main question is, if this guy isn't lying and he didn't just drop it in a toilet and dry it out or something like that, is it possible for rooting or installing a ROM or whatever to completely brick it beyond repair? Or if I hop on IRC and get the necessary tools should it be fixable even if its a slight pain in the ass?
I found with my phone no matter how bad I had messed up there was always LGNPST with the stock software to fix it, so I figured it would be similar for this phone but I wanted some more opinions on it, thanks for the help and sorry for my lack of knowledge.
There are a couple of ways of hard bricking g2s so I'd be really careful with this one. If it won't even light up he might be in qhsusb bulkmode or something. Ask him to let you play around with it, if it goes in download mode and pc recognises it you should get it. If he didn't drop it in the toilet of course.
If the phone wont do a Factory Reset, Vol - and power then at the LG logo let go of power then hold again. I would stay away.
My LG G2 was totally dead that I couldnt get it to boot, download mode, factory reset, or even show the battery charging screen when it was off.
Good thing I was under warranty.

It started to process the update, rebooting and stuck. All I could get it to do was show the LG logo if I power cycled it or plugged it in the usb or charger. 2finger factory reset would show the screen but never start.

[URGENT]Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 Stuck in bootloop

Hey XDA members
I need urgent help to help me restore access to my phone, as you can see in the title my device is stuck on the Galaxy S4 Screen, wont go further (apart from a few lucky times hardly ever and will restart anyway).
I have no idea how this happened, my phone is fully stock, not custom roms or root or anything. i was just using my phone normally and all of a sudden it turned off and it just happened from there on, its been happening all day and it has really p****d me off because i am unable to keep up with work now and my phone pays a vital part in my life.
It's not water damaged as far as i know and i cant even factory reset it because it freezes in the process of going into system recovery mode and restarts, same goes for download mode. i really dont know what to do the PC Doesn't recognize it anymore either and its not got warranty.
The only possible thing i can think that has gone wrong is i was charging my phone in the USA Whilst i was there during the summer. but that was about 6 weeks ago and it just happens so randomly so i doubt it could be that..
Has anyone has a similar problem and can give me any solutions or advice i would greatly appreciate it.
- Kind Regards.

Your power button is stuck/faulty. Try to wiggle it loose or replace it.

Had the same with 4.4.2. Do a factory reset, should work. Although all of your data is gone that way.
I suspect you have a hardware problem. Take it to your nearest repair centre.

Thanks for your help, although i cant access System Recovery because: 1. it either freezes whilst it's loading, 2. the phone turns off before it even tries to load

Thanks for your help,
I also suspected it was a hardware problem but im trying to figure out what exactly is wrong, i was guessing a short circuit but i cant be entirely sure, do you think it could be something else?

The simple answer is no, I don't.
Considered the info provided I think you're out of options, unfortunately. Sorry mate, repair centre is my humblest opinion.
