Hi Everyone,
I perfer to use the HTC 3D screen, however when the screen turns off and I turn it on agains , it will always switch to HTC home screen. It a bit annoying when using the programs like Garmin gps. Currently, I will switch to Windows or titanium when using Garmin. Hopes someone can help. Thks.

have you set password lock? try removing it.

why don't you just change the setting in Advanced Config so that whenever the screen is switched off, the phone automatically locks?
Search.

This software works very good and only disable the touch screen when there is call so that the call will not accidentally missed. Just what phone lock works. By the way, HTC dialer will automatically disable the built in phone lock when there comes a new call.

i have read about a register entry that locks the buttons and screen to avoid them be pussed during a call when the jade is in our pockets.
I have changed it but nothings happens. I want to get the original lock, the same you can set manually by long-pressing the red button, automatically.
I know that there is S2U2, but drains my battery and i would be happy using only the default lock system.
Can anybody help me?
The registry entry i am using without succeess is HKCU\ControlPanel\Backlight\AutoDeviceLockEnable
try searching for csdevctrl in this forum and use it... it doesnt drain ur battery

I tried it and it seemed to lock up my phone. I was using the keypad lock that came with the phone, and it wouldn't show the home screen after unlocking. Had to remove throttle lock using active sync anf then the remove programs app. Does anyone have any ideas how to correct?

You cant use both the lock screen. You have disable WM and use Throttle, or use Throttle and disable WM.

I install the apps "widgetlocker lockscreen" and after the screen deactivation I can not activat the screen again. It is all black.
Some has the same problem?

there is about a 5 second delay that you have to wait before trying to wake it again. Also be aware that the display widget can turn the screen completely off. while the device is still active so you wont see it on even though its on.

I can only see a black screen :-(
Is there a possibility to uninstall it without screen?

i had exactly the same issue and after a lot of tentative i understand that the screen was off but the phone is unlocked with the screen luminosity at minimun. So if you remember where is the luminosity control (i had on the home screen lucky), you can reactivate the normal screen.
first thing i had done was uninstalling this app...
unfortunatly, after some reboot (to use wm), the issue reappeared and this time i was unable to get normal screen and i had to delete my android folder and get a new one..
a very disappointing experience with this app.

For those who will suffer from this problem in the future
adb shell echo 100 > /sys/class/leds/lcd-backlight/brightness
That will do the trick. You will still need to update the brightness in the settings then.
Hello guys, when i use some applications for long time,i've to touch continuously the screen to keep it on, and it's really annoying.
Do you know if there is an app that keep my screen on with the applications that i choose??
