I'd really like if there was a twitter tab for touchflo3d on the TP2, like on the HTC Hero (android).... Is there someone who has this already done. Or is there something in development?
If you add the Touchflo Detacher application you can set the Touchflo3D soft key to open up your Twitter client. That's what I've done.
I agree. A Twitter tab would be nice!
Use Manila Today Page (MTP) and find a twitter app that has a today plugin.

Just assign your twitter client to one of the Touchflo3D softkeys and your done.

Apparently it is, according to HTC. They're planning on porting the Sense UI to WinMo which in turn means the TP2 should definitely get it. I hope so anyway as it looks to work pretty well on the Hero.
To digress for a second, however, I would like to be able to assign a Twitter client to one of the tabs (I use Pocketwit) but I suspect there may be more to it than simply creating a tab. I would've thought it would involve tweaking the app itself to render properly in TouchFLO and there are quite a few Twitter apps out there at the moment.
I could be very wrong but that's my tuppence worth.
if all this is being done then does that possibly mean that one day they will release a touchflo without the battery being eaten up so quickly

HTC has never stated that they will be porting the Sense UI to devices like diamond2 and touchpro2..They have said that they will start using the Sense UI on future devices
I plan on working on a twitter tab come august 12 when I get a Touch Pro 2.
twitter tab for 6.5...
pocketwit already does this.. after installed its built in the 6.5 windows default screen under da g's 23025 build.. its ok, but i ran into issues with it.. so this relationship didn't form into what it should've been..
i actually didn't really prove an answer for those interested in using touchflo, but there's some way to enjoy twitter..
so now i'm in love with tiny twitter as it uses the entire screen.. i just do without the auto notifications.

I got touchflo working last week on my 8525. It's a bit unreliable though - only works sometimes. If it were more reliable I would use it all the time.
I hope that more people are focusing energy on making touch-friendly interfaces for PPC.
Does anyone know of any other freeware touch-friendly interfaces out there being worked on?

Right now, just using http://wireless.etrade.com. Not as fast, and interested in getting it into a tab in TF3D (see there is manila files from the HD already on this site, so may get my wish). I like the format of this one much better, so may run both (depending on final product, and visibility of all the markets).

This matches my theme much better, so you are my favorite person today as well. I will run both yours, and the TF3D tab from the HD. I like your format much better. The HD tab will give me quick glance, but your tab will help me make decisions wirelessly before I buy/sell on my E*Trade account.

Unless they do some nasty things that need the Raphael nk.exe, as some builds of Manila had... But I'm sure we can "get around" these.
Looks like a good browser, and I've been using one of the builds on my PC and it's fantastic!

After watching the video (link above) it looks as though it will support flash, when the guy clicks on his url bar, in the drop down list is you tube, not that it matters as there are plenty of ways to watch youtube, but it does look very interesting!

I would imagine so. But I'm sure someone could hack it or I don't know ... It was just an idea. I'd love it for this phone as it would have a large screen and capacitive, perfect for fast typing .
Has anyone seen or heard of a facebook tab for sense 2.5? I know there is stand alone facebook app and facebook integration in the people tab. I also know know there is a twitter tab in sense already. Anyone heard of such a thing?

There's only a Twitter tab for Sense 2.5 because HTC developed it themselves. There is no currently existing Facebook tab for Sense 2.5, although if you're willing to develop it, be our guest.

I'd like to see a FB tab too. Having to open the app or go to the website takes too long. Be sure to include options to upload photos from the tab.

yea agreed i would love to see a facebook and myspace tab would almost be like our own lil better version of motoblur. =)
There is code in the Development section for creating a new custom tab but someone has to finish it off with the Facebook API. I really doubt we'll ever see a Facebook tab.
