Hey guys, just a little side note.. I posted a video on how I rooted the the Hero, with the steps described here, on youtube.. I went to phandroid to get my daily does of android news and it was linked on their site.. Makes me really happy.. First video ever..

Thanks to all of you here who have made me feel liberated. Spent 12-14 hours researching how to install an Android build and researching what a "bricked" phone (knew I didn't want that) was, what a kitchen and chef was too! I thought WWE was wrestling. I finally did it and could not be happier! After all the panic attacks and multi colored screens, as well as HTC logos scaring the _ _ _ _ out of me, I am free and I know what it means. To all, have a happy holiday season! Huge fan was born of XDA! Thank you, thank you, thank you! What a blast it has been.

It took me a little while to work it all out the first time (info is spread across multiple threads etc), so I recorded the process for the second tab I upgraded and posted it to Youtube. Hope someone finds it useful.
