My headset stopped working; when I answer/make a call, I cannot hear a thing. Any suggestions as to how this can be fixed?

Cingular 8125 speaker dead?

I have an odd problem and I'm hoping this can be fixed without sending my phone back.
I have an 8125 that's been working great since I bought it. Suddenly the other day the internal speaker stopped working.
So my phone doesn't ring and I can't hear when someone calls. But if I use the headset that came with the phone, everything works fine - including the internal speaker! (someone called the other day and I had the headphones connected and my external speaker started to ring when the call came in.)
Any ideas on getting the speaker working again?
Thanks
Paul

"screetch" on call answer via Bluetooth?

I nearly always use a BT headset for calls since the Wing is a pain to hand hold while talking.
Nearly all people I talk to complain of a "screetch" type of sound when I answer a call with my BT headset. I've tried three different headsets, same result. The noise does not happen when I initiate the call, and I cannot hear the noise when I answer the call. at frst I thought it was just a one time event, but callers tell me the problem is consistent and loud enough that they keep their phone away from their ear when I answer.
Using a stock Wing (TMO factory ROM) with either a Jabra BT500 (most of the time), a Plantronics 590 or a Plantronics 6xx headset, same result with all.
Anyone experience similar or have ideas how to resolve?
Noone has mentioned it to me yet (just got my wing yesterday) but my MDA definitely did that on occassion. Only did it when it was on vibrate too...I think people were actually hearing the mechanical vibration on their end. And it only happenned via BT...which made it even stranger since that meant the mic wasn't even part of the phone.
Amazing, that's exactly what the problem was!
Apparently even when you answer via BT, the internal microphone is enabled for a second or two and it picks up the sound of the vibration motor.
Thanks for the advice, now to gripe to TMO or someone about the problem for what it's worth.
my mda has been doing the same thing for the past 2 days... but on all calls incoming and outgoing without the bt and it starts up with the bt but stops after a second.. is there anything to do to fix it?

[Q] Bluetooth carkit problem om cm11

I have the folowing problem when I pair my note3 with my bluetooth radio.
When I make a call it works. I can talk over bluetooth and everything is ok. I can hear the other party and the can here me (over bluetooth)
But when i end the call or the other party ends the call and i try again a next (second) call the problem occurs;
I cannot hear the other party nor they can hear me. Also if I choose for speaker or earpeace i hear nothing.
But when i shut off bluetooth (during the call) i can hear and the other party can hear me too again (but not over bluetooth because it is off)
Next, the third call I get the same, the fourth call same etc..
i have to reboot the phone and then it works again ONLY ONE time and than same problem.
I tried al lot of nigtly's, but same problem
Ik had the exactly the same problem on note 2. On TW rom it works fine.
Update..
Normally my bluetooth is off. When I get in the car I turn bluetooth on. I can make a call and that works great. Audio is good, no problem. But if the call is ended (It doesn't matter if I or the other party ends the call) and I try a second (and a third end so on) call I hear nothing and the other party doesn't hear me also.
I found out that when I turn bluetooth off and then on again before I make the second call, it works well again.
I even found out when I hear nothing during call and I turn bluetooth off and on it works all again.
Conclusion is. If I turn bluetooth off and on after each call I can use it.
I found a app in the playstore "bluetooth on call". This app automatically turns bluetooth off after a call en turns it on when you make a new call.
So for me it works this way

S7 Edge - Microphone not working in calls

Please help,
Samsung have returned my phone twice saying no fault found, but every time I make or receive a call there is no sound on the other end. The mic works for google search, video recording, voice recorder app etc, but as soon as I make a call no one can hear me at all. Any ideas welcome please before I end up selling it as faulty. Gutted and tearing my hair out!
Hey!
I have a similar issue with my S7. Microphone does not work only during the calls. Turning on speakerphone does not help (as it should when you have a broken bottom microphone) and also if I connect headset then the microphone from the headset works. In all other aps both (botom, top) microphones work (I do have stereo in video recording etc.). Did it happen to you after system update or when?
Cheers
A small update:
I have found that the issue is even more silly for me.
So I make a call and the person to whom I am calling cannot hear me. Then I connect a headphones, but ones without a microphone. And suddenly the microphone in the phone starts working. But the moment I disconnect them it stops.
Can you confirm this happening for you?
its old, but i have same problem. Now, I am trying to flash stock rom and see if it will work. After restart, I microphone works only once in call app, that it dont work. But i can record audio with it and in any other app it works. Idk what is the problem, but i want to find out
