Is it indeed stable after e.g. changing Home Screen options, activesyncing and switching the device on and off a few times? And: did you use the most recent SPL (1.01.0109) or the older (1.01.0064) version?

only fixed 0.3 camera app.
keyboard driver from ronswens' wm5 amadeus build can't work in wm6.
We need to modify the wm5 keyboard driver for wm6 amadeus.

I suplied 27M 1.01.0109 SPL & 1.01.0064 SPL.
you can flash ROM from 27M 1.01.0109 SPL, then enter the WM6, flash 1.01.0064 SPL, and then when you reboot your phone, you will not see the red text.

I had 1.01.0109 SPL on my Feeler and flashed 'back' to 1.01.0064 SPL. Now I get the red, green and blue screen (red: Typhoon IPL 1.00, green: Typhoon 1.01.0064 and blue: just Typhoon, nothing else) and I cannot load the new WM6 ROM.
I hope I did not brick my device. Any suggestions?
If you find 1.01.0064 SPL not support your device, you can flash 1.01.0109 SPL back. your phone os will come back.

How to flash back to 1.01.0109 SPL? As far as I know you need to be ActiveSynced with the device and - as you can guess - I only can get in the red-green-blue screen of 1.01.0064 SPL.

Please look at this to flash your device to 1.01.0109 SPL.

Your smartphone must be activesynced with the computer.
[*]Download IU_SPL+PatchedRUU.zip from here.
[*]Extract all the files to some folder on the PC and run Patched_RUU.exe.
[*]Follow the instructions and it will flash SPL 1.01.0109 to your phone.

Already solved the problem. Solution: just in case other people get the same problem
1. Get into bootloader mode for 1.01.0064 SPL (the red-green-blue screen)
2. Run USB connection with MTTY 1.42
3. Press Enter to see Cmd prompt
4. Type info 2 and press Enter
5. Type format BINFS and press Enter
6. Now you can run 2003SE official ROM
After this you can flash back to 1.01.0109 SPL and install WM6 ROM

Do not have that ROM, I found a Qtek which worked ok as an intermediate step to get back to ronswens WM5

I try to flash my Qtek 8020 with WM6 Rom, but at 68% stage of flashing my PC updater window missing from my desktop. I retry to start updater, but without any succes, of course.
Now, my device is death.
Anybody has a solution for this ?
Please, this smartphone is in a very good condition (is new one, 0 min. talking, in fact ) ,i don't want to drop it.

i think this might work bcos it happend when i tried to upgrade to WM6 on ma typhoon.... do as following... n within no time it will be workin again.......
Now you need to access the bootloader. Ensure that the phone is turned off, hold the camera button with a hand, and connect the USB cable, after a second, you will see a white screen asking 'Need an IU? ", press 0 and you will see a 3 colour screen which is the bootloader.... Now extract the ROM which you have downloaded earlier on to your C: drive, then execute mtty.exe. Select USB from the drop down menu and click OK..... Copy os.bin into C drive. Now type 'l c:/os.bin' without the quotes and type enter, you will see a series of process. The entire process takes around 10-20 minutes. Please be patient. Once it is done, type ResetDevice, and you have WM6.

Moreover I've got a question: i'm now using andot's rom, in english so when i change rom to yours, the only thing that is gonna change is the font, right?

help!!i really no idea with my devices as i try to flash it to wm6,then it stop at 50% and reboot then hang at bootloader screen,i try to flash again but when it reach 1% it will restart and update error msg prompt, it said "the image is corrupted" if im using sd card flash,it come out 00068002 on the top of the"loading" words then go in the tri colour screen again. anyone pls help me pls!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man I wish you guys would do a LITTLE research on how to flash stuff... I bet you don't have Hard SPL installed even though its splashed about all over the forum.....
Try to download the SHIPPED STOCK ROM again... It seems you have a corrupted download.
Once you have downloaded the rom, then reset Hermes into TRUE bootloader, not the failed flash you are getting.
On the PC, untick "Allow USB connections" in active sync the connect Hermes.
Double click on RUU_Wrapper.exe of the freshly downloaded rom. Follow prompts...
Pray......
Then, if it works, INSTALL HARD SPL V7...........

Hello friends i'm italian and sorry for my english.
I have a problem with my hermes200.
I have flashing on my tytn a rom kitchen using "package tool by bepe" with nb IPL, SPL, Mainsplash, Subsplash, ExtROM and GSM extrated from original rom htc tytn wm6 and a OS.nb extrated from rom kaiser ITA wm6.1.
When the flashing is termined the hermes don't start: push power botton but the screen is black and only green light is ON.
I have flashed original htc hermes wm6 but i have "error 226 flash write" when the process is at 89%.
I have IPL-1.04 and SPL-2.04. CID.
SPL 2.10, SPL 2.20, SPL 2.30 are not possibile to install.
i have try command with mtty tool:
- task 32 -> FF
- task 28 -> format storage success
- task 2a -> fix bad block
- info 8 -> much bad block Os Win CE
I've try to reflash the original rom but the problem is the same
The battery don't possibile to charge and level should be of 40%.

You had to flash the original ROM of your Polaris before flashing the Original SPL.
Can you get the tricolor screen?
I have original spl but after I flash hard-spl v2 and flash not original rom,but this rom was very bad.

Default Problems installing HardSPL
Hi,
I have installed the last official version on WM6.1 on my htc, now i want to install one custom rom from this forum.
I tryed to istall first HardSPL, but i don't know why, the process get stuck at 0% of the istall and never continue.
In the 3 color screen appear:
POLA100
SPL-3.13.0000
CPLD-2
Someone can help me?

Here is what I do and what happens when I try to use HARD-SPL V2:
1) I connect the USB cable and the writing on the device changes from "serial" to "USB"
2) I run romupdateutility
3) I check "I understand..." + next
4) I check "I completed..." + next
5) on the PC a message "verifying the information on your PDA phone, please wait" appears and after a while the device switches to a screen with a progress bar at 0%, while on the PC the following message appears:

I tried flashing different SPLs (even the two original ones) with the same problem. If I try to flash a ROM I get the ERROR [294] : INVALID VENDER ID"
after 1% progress.

I think you must wait Olipro or another chef here to say you how to refalsh SPL with 2.40 version in command line
You can try to flash you original ROM via SD-Card.

Hello guys, I've got a p3300 which I can't update to a WM 6.1. It's the factory's 6.0. It's originally simfree so I dunno if I need to go through the USPL.
The thing is that it gives me 270 Corrupted image error.
As I thought that being simfree originally, didn't need to do CID unlock, I tried to flash a cooked ROM with no success whatsoever.
Any ideas?

you might brick the O2xdaOrbit/p3300!!
* put the two cab files on your device and run them.
* get activesync connection
* run dos window
* soft reset after 100% to get activesync connection.
- only when the rom update utility window opened on pc..
* uspl cmon rom update utility.
***ONLY after doing uspl is it safe to flash a rom.
* if you have an SD card in the device, take it out..
when you have done uspl on your device startup you will see..

* its done.

Having problems with this.
For 2 days I try all the files and ways to set 1.11.cmon on my P3300 and always stuck at one place no matter what versions of the program I get.
IPL 3.07.0001
SPL 1.11.0000
GSM 02.98.90
OS 3.13.0.0
are the red numbers I see when I restart it.
The problems are that when connect phone and see connected on ActiveSync I start start_uspl program. After 100% connection with Active Sync dissapears and I see black screen on my PPC, then I run ROMUpdateUtility and It says some error that there is no phone connected.
If I start ROMUpdateUtility before start_uspl I go in to boot loader mode ( the 3 colors screen ) and then again that there is no phone connected.
I have done this 15 times or more with different versions of the program and it stucks on the same places ALL the time no matter what version I use.
My artemis had 1.11.cmon before, but I installed the LAST Artemis P3300 ROM from the WIKI. That removed the 1.11.cmon from the phone. After that I have Installed Vanilla 2.0 WWE version on the phone and started the process to set 1.11.cmon on the phone. No success. After some 6.5.5 ROM from the forum, then process to set 1.11.cmon and again nothing...
Please HELP!

All works as the brains here say. My problem was that I am using Windows 7 at home and Windows Vista at other place I did try to fix this problem. However with Windows XP this whole operation works properly as the people here say. Big thanks to them and I hope you success in this operation too

After USPL the screen of Artemis becomes white and running RUU ends up with error 266. And even after a soft reset running RUU ends until 3% after that comes error 270.
Any solution will be highly appreciated.

put the 2cabs on your device and run them..
rapi & cert
run_startuspl - on pc
when this is 100% - soft reset device
-now continue to do rom update utility (uspl ruu)
this should work..?

i have to admit, i had same trouble to do uspl1.11cmon but eventually it worked.. frustrating.. i know.. but keep trying.. if i was you i would flash back to the official rom.. which should get rid of 1.11.0000 and set back to original spl..
i put rapi and cert on my device, ran them, connected to pc, ran ''run_startuspl'' that made penguin on screen on device.. went to 100% then white screen.. Ruu automaticly opened on pc but i didnt continue with Ruu.. i soft reset device, got activesync connection again and then i continued with the open Ruu..

pof's original (kickass great work!!) didn't work with my 3.13 (original htc rom); i ended up with 1.11.000spl. i then ran the 3.13 uspl (see thread); now i am on cmon version

I cannot power off the device by pressing the button but have to take
the battery.
I already try to change the rom, the SPl and put everything inside just

Began to update but ends or in 1% or in 7% and loose the connection.
The device connects to the PC but in PC in WM device center nothing happens.
