Nice case from the AT&T Store! - Touch Pro, Fuze Accessories

Check out the case I just picked up from the AT&T store. The slider works PERFECT!

Is this the Body Glove brand case?

Is an AT&T brand for 4600. Was VERY surprised to see this there.

Nice! I'm gonna have to check that out at the store. I'm guessing that cost around $30?

Yea, something like that. I think it was $28+ tax.

Interesting. This is the one I was talking about. It looks very similar.
http://www.bodyglove.com/products_detail.php?product_id=25864

Here is the package.
I had a problem with the case at first as it had a small piece of plastic in top left corner that was just big enough to push the start key on the screen if you can beleive that. With that, I was NOT able to do anything and at first thought it was my device. I took the case off, fuze was then working and noticed the corner piece. Shaved it down real fast and everything was fine. It has a nice rubber feeling. Stays put if on your seat unlike the original fuze back which we all should know if you hit your breaks and the fuze is on your seat, well, its now on your passenger floor! Also feels real nice in your hand. Overall, good buy!

Nice case...and interesting...do you guy know where i can get it in Asia??

Looks like it adds a little more to the thickness... but looks nice!

Very nice...does the keyboard slide open or do you have to open the case first?

Wow. Holy crap. It looks horrible to me >.>

Na,
its perfect. The original case is whats horrible.

The original case? I don't think a case came with the fuze? lol? I'm waiting for Seidio to come up with a case for the fuze. I'd definitely want that.

Keyboard slides out with the case on perfectly. I have had seidio cases in the past. This case is VERY simular to them. The only difference I can see with this case vs. my past experience with seidio cases for slide out keyboard's like my last from them on the tilt, is this case is padded inside to protect the device. My past experience with seidio cases like this would beat up the phone abit if they were in too long. This guy looks like it will protect that black mirror fuze shell! LOL

Thanks for the heads up...gotta go take a look at this one!

I called 3 stores and they all tell me there is no case for it yet and I tell them otherwise. They don't like being told they are wrong. lol

Daydeal.com has them (well had them when I ordered it) for $19.00 USD.

can you post the bar code for this AT&T case please?

Anybody know if this is the same one as the Body Glove one mentioned a few posts earlier (see the given link)?

hmm looks interesting. im gonna go check my local store.
does anyone know if i can try it on my phone before i buy it? is the package openable so i can test it?

Best Pouch for the Tilt/Kaiser

Hi all,
I have a case question for you. And it deals with a specific type of case, so that's why I didn't use one of the other threads. I'm looking for a pouch for my Tilt. Like the Krussell Vertica. What I'm after is a vertical leather pouch, that is made just for the tilt only. I can find all kinds of universal ones out there, but they all too big since they fit the HTC apache (6700) I'm after something that fits the tilt snugly. Here's a couple I've found so far:
http://www.tiltdepot.com/krusell-vertica-multidapt-s-wide/4A25A1414A2.htm
http://cgi.ebay.com/MONACO-BLACK-LE...ryZ15036QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I've looked at the sensa pouch cases as well. Can anyone recommend a good one that isn't made for all kinds of phones? any ideas? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone has pointed this one out in another thread, it looks nice but they said they could find it for like $15... which I havent been able to do...

A friend of mine has his Tilt in a case like you are describing... I think he said it was actually a Treo 750 case, but his Tilt fit perfectly.
-Jay
I have posted this in this forum before. The Treo 680/750 is within a mm of the dimensions of the Tilt. Any Treo pouch fits like a glove on the Tilt. I am currently using a fitted Treo pouch as my main phone holder.
You can get that Cellet case for less than $11.00 on Amazon.com. I bought one today.

Thanks Gaby... I was looking for one that said Tilt... didnt know the Treo one would work... I likey the price... I wonder what the clearances would need to be if you have the rubberized case on the Tilt
Just picked up this case at Bestbuy... fits nice and should have enough room for when I put on the hard skin...

I received my Cellet case from Amazon. My Tytn ll has a rubberized hard case and it fits perfectly inside it.
I need to say this case is beautiful... For $6.00 plus shipping is a great buy.

I have that HTC one from best buy listed above, it fits prefectly, has 2 magnets holding the flap closed and the belt clip is metal. It also has a soft velvet interior to resist scratches.
Would be nice if the clip had a double lock on it, though.
~~~
Another I really like is this one; from at&t.
It is in the "Universal Cell Phone" category at the store, at first it was too small, but after a few hours use, it stretched to fit my tilt like a glove. This one makes a real nice case if you need something a little more rugged, its clip made of a heavy (pvc like) plastic that double locks around your belt, making it impossible to accidently come off. The "Ballistic" Canvas has a quality feel and the velcro feel like it will last, not the cheapstuff.
Just be carefull until it stretches, it had the tendency of catching the stylus, doesn't anymore though.
~~~
Both are a bit pricey, but considering the cost of the phone, I wouldn't trust those $9.95 specials, unless I could get my hands on it first. My friend found a $10 version of the HTC one, but the leather on it feels like it would wear down and rip pretty quickly.

This case is actually made by Nite Ize, and it is available on Amazon. The LARGE size fits the Tilt best compared to SMALL or PDA/Smartphone. The magnet version is also better than the velcro one.

That's the stuff I used in my bathroom to frost my windows... I got it wet and slid it on.. used a squeegee and flattened it all out and 3 years later is is still sticking there.
The difference is that this is
1.) Clear
2.) Cut into the proper shape (you could do this yourself with some measuring but it saves hassle)
3.) the squeegee is probably smaller.
My bathroom windows are in a VERY humid environment... I have never had ANY peeling.
However I don't keep my bathroom windows in my pocket... so I don't know if the corners will peel up.
My main point is that for $24 of this "film" to cover a TINY phone... you can buy the same thing for $18 that would cover 10 phones... if the product works fantastic... the profit margin for them is HUGE. If it doesn't work... it's the biggest rip off ever.
See if Gila makes a clear one... get $18 worth and tinker away.

Since you've had the Fuze already... Is the shape exactly the same as the TP? It looks like sprints version is a little more round along the corners. I'd Like to go ahead and purchase one of these for the Fuze but don't want to have to send it back.

The only difference I noticed when seeing the 2 up next to each other was the shape of the speaker hole on the back, that might be enough to throw the protection off. Ask Raspster about it more, he had both the European and the Fuze at the same time, so he could tell you better than I could.
I got one, just to try it out.
Exactly as described above. Its a bit fiddly getting on but once on, it sticks very well.
Its great at sticking to flat surfaces, not so good on curves. And they don't even try and cover the corners on the device, which I would think are the places I'd want protected if I was to drop it.
The texture makes the back look very different from normal; its much nicer without the cover on. On the front, you can't really see the cover at all; edges are perfectly aligned with the phones edges.
The back and the front of the phone are covered very well. Sides not so great. Corners not at all. Front looks good. Back looks crap.
My opinion, its no way worth $24
just got mine on Friday exactly as it's described, protects almost every part of the phone with their cut out plastic shield, however as mentioned in earlier post... doesn't really cover the edges, all in all... does really stick and so far looks pretty ok with the exception of little bubbles within the shield (poor application technique)

Is it easy to peel it off without tearing the phone's original casing? Especially the back cover. I just ordered mine, hope it arrives soon.

I have used the Zagg's products (formerly Invisible Shield) on my 6800, 6700, wifes Centro and even custom ordered for my Pioneer 6800DVD in my car. I really like the product, the service is second to none... That said, I think since I have used the product and know how it performs in pockets, and how to install correctly (installed dozens of shields for myself, family and friends), I may try this new product.
Screen protection has always been great and flat surfaces (side) great as well but the corners usually give way, slide and start to bubble after about 4 months of heavy in and out of the pocket use.
This is a $24 experiment begging to happen.... now if Sprint would just release the damn phone!
I would also like to know this. Can it be removed again without leaving marks on the phone?
How scratch proof is it really?
Because of the lack of info on the site (still no video's on how to apply the thing, their forum is just about empty and they don't reply to customer questions...) they really don't seem to thrustworthy ...

I would get the one released by Zagg. They offer a lifetime replacement on all products and they will replace it no questions I know. Their stuff is nearly impossible to scratch and I TRIED just about everything to scratch it. All phones full covers are $25. Never had any bubbling issues with Zagg's products.
yes it can easily be removed without any mark left at all....I found the cover started to collect dusk a lot (it must be slightly sticky) so I removed it.

Trust me, I know oh too well the replacement process and have replaced and installed many over the last 5 years.
The fact that I know the Zagg product so well, makes the experiment more interesting. I know the Zagg stuff so well that I will know if this Clear Coat stands a chance AND since it's only $25... It might turn out to be junk, the company could not stand behind the guarantee BUT we'll see.
*Update
Just got my phone yesterday and I just ordered the Clear Coat. I'll install and do a little initial write up. I'll order the Zagg shield when it becomes available and do a comparison.
It's only money and it IS a $700 device.... (but I only paid $250 for it)
Stay tuned guys.
**Update
Just ordered a Zagg full body shield at 40% off as they just got them and were doing a Halloween special I guess. I should have the Cleat Coat on Mon/Tues and the Zagg will probably be here the week after. I think I'll install the Clear Coat first, use it for a week or so and then install the Zagg and do the same.

[REQ] Anybody know where I can find a replacement back panel for the Fuze?

I got my Fuze a couple of weeks ago but the glossy black panel on the back is already showing scratches. I would like to know if anybody knows a place where they sell replacements or if they make a rubberized one or not. I just ordered a case so it won't be much of an issue but I'm sure I'll need to replace it eventually. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
To anyone reading this thread and wondering, see this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=444619
Yea I saw that but does that rubberized one fit this phone because it doesn't look like it from the picture and the clear plastic part where the camera/LED is located on the phone seems to small to fit over both on the Fuze. Just want confirmation that this cover fits on the Fuze. Thanks for the input.
MAN i really hope they come out with some aftermarket understated back covers. If the sprint version didnt have the ugly chrome trim id be all over it.
Couldn't agree more. I'd buy a "Tilt" like back cover for the AT&T Fuze in a heartbeat.

Idont think so.
Just a warning, I bought one like that. I started having trouble with the touch screen. I was getting ready to flash another ROM, because I had installed a new ROM the day the case arrived. I saw a post where several other people were having the same issue with the case. I removed the case and the problem went away. I threw the case away and never looked back. Some people have found scrapping burrs off the inside of the case solves the issue. I just found this case http://www.cases.com/pahtctpro.htm that I like better.

EVO Case Discussion - Best, Thinnest, Toughest, etc

I'm in the market for a new case since the $3 one I bought on Ebay is starting to peel finish. I'm looking for the thinnest, slickest case out there.
What case are you using?
Do you like it?
How much was it?
Where did you buy it?
Pictures?
THX!
well i would like to know this as well.
However i can enlighten you on how horrible the body glove case from sprint is. it looked great and was loving the feel until after a week, pulled it out of my pocket to find the case was broke where the volume rocker is. needless to say it looked and felt good but all in all i do NOT recommend it to anyone.

Mine did exactly the same thing, lasted about two weeks.
Funny, I ordered one of the $3.00 ones off of Ebay to replace it.
Actually I got mine on Amazon... forgot. This is the case I bought and while it is pretty thin and fits well, the paint job is totally shotty and now looks horrible:

I bought the white and chrome case from Sprint when I got the phone. I have had my phone since the release day for the EVO and the case still looks brand new. I really like the leather feel, and the chrome accents add to the overall beauty of the phone. I would recommend the case to anyone!

i have the body glove universal holder from radio shack which works for me. however, i am looking at getting the Seidio Innocase holster case combo... which is a steal on amazon as the case itself is $30 at sprint and the combo is $30 on amazon.

i already tried the case and its nice and fits inside the body glove holder too, snuggley like pigs in a blanket at ihop.
Shouldn't this be in the Accessories forum?
(Black TPU case FTW.)
Yep... should be in accessories thread... my bad.
Are the otterbox cases thin though... I'm really looking for the thinnest case out there.
I always just wait for some YouTube reviews to pop up, shows me are how big the case is in real life. (Or as real as I care to get.)

Looking at the impact series case it doesn't look to be too bad. I really like the looks of the bottom two cases, so I signed up to be notified when they come out. I had the Sprint Body Glove case, had since release actually, but the volume rocker area just cracked last week. Lasted longer then most I suppose.
I've got the Seidio Innocase holder IceCreaMan linked to and it has been nice. It's got a nice texture, doesn't slide easily, isn't bulky, has a belt clip, and with the case on, it makes it so the camera doesn't stick out. It doesn't cover anything either so you still have your speakers, cameras, microphones, plugs, etc. Would definitely recommend it.
the Innocase II is a proven design in my opinion
its thin, and can take a drop (ive dropped mine from 8ft + onto concrete without any cracks in the case/damage to the phone)
I got a couple cheap cases from ebay; they're the clamshell design that has a front & back the snap together. They all felt too big and bulky though, so I got a Talon to replace 'em. Love it. Just snaps onto the back of the phone and protects the corners from drops and the camera from scratches when laying the phone on it's back. I have an InvisibleShield on the front to protect the touch screen from scratches.
The talon is almost like not having a case at all -- doesn't add much bulk to the phone.
And it's only 10 bucks.
Got my case today, I was a little worried because two days after I purchased it Ebay pulled all of the sellers listings and sent me a notice saying I could file a claim to get my money back. Since the seller had good feedback, and he had notified me that it had been shipped (from China), I decided to wait and see if it would show up, which it did.
I really like it, much better fit and quality than the Sprint body glove I had on my phone before. Time will tell if it lasts, but I have to say for $3.00, I am pretty impressed. It has a soft feel that gives a more secure feeling grip than the body glove, plus it is slightly thinner, but still protects the camera lens. Plus it is red, love the color.
Wish I could give a link to the one I got, the seller has put some of his cases back up, but no Evo cases yet.
Here is a link to a red rubberized hard case that looks very similar to the one I got.
