Hello,
I noticed that using Seven push email program, my phone would crash when my phone doesn't have service. It just won't wake up at all. So I have to reboot it in order to respond again.
Do you guys know the reason?

Of having to soft reset my XDA 2 all the time :evil:
The main cause is when sending an SMS. I tap the send icon and the cloud just stays there for about a minute or two and then it takes me to the phone screen. So I try to stop the program and it says it's not responding. It sometimes does it when trying to make a call, it says dialling but it just crashes.
My XDA 2 is relatively clean with bearly any extra programs running on it. For a 400mhz cpu it's slow as ****.
Anyone else having these probs?
if you use pocketplus and have it set to close programs insted of minimizing them and close outlook befor ethe msg is sendt that happens
since i tell people this every week it must be a pretty common issue for people odd that they dont turn it off for outlook as default
closing many other pocketpc programs for real can also cause issues

Why do you assume that I'm using pocketplus :?: I'm not using any software that automatically closes programs.
which cloud? the "your message has been sent" bubble?
i have an xda II and a pda2, and haven't had this problem on either. i did have an issue where if the "your message has been sent" bubble was open when i turned off the pda (put it into standby), then the message would stay permanently there until i soft reset (i think thats what happened, its been a long time since i turned it off with the bubble open).
but no crashing.. have you tried hard resetting the device?
I mean the send button. When you tap it it briefly turns into a cloud and then goes away, but mine sometimes just sticks on it.
Can't be bothered hard resetting. It doesn't happen all the time it's just annoying when it does.

Hey, I just got a new AT&T 8525 about 4 or 5 days ago and I've been having a lot of problems with it, actually. Sometimes, when I'm using it the touch screen will just stop responding. I would just press the power button so the display goes away but then when I try to turn it back on, it just doesn't do anything at all! The led's still flash and everything.
To get it working again, I just take the battery out and then it works for maybe a couple hours until it happens again. I tried to look up the problem and I think I remember seeing that it could be from having a program that is constantly using data connections such as a weather program or an rss feed program.
I'm using WM5.
Can anyone please help me??

Just got this phone and love everything about it except for the genius button. It takes 15 seconds for it to get activated.
I searched the forums and could not find a solution for this problem. I found a few threads where few users were complaining of the same problem but didn't find any solutions.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Would it be worth it for me to exchange it within 15 days?
Considering the power of the phone, I've always thought it took too long to open the Genius app. You also have to momentarily hold the button to get the app to open...you can't just tap it. However, mine opens in about 3 seconds, not 15.
I tried holding down the button. It worked once but then it stopped working again. I see from other threads that some people don't have this problem at all. I might have to exchange the phone for this reason
I need to hold the button for a sec, can't quick click, but it loads instantly for me. I would restart the phone to clear memory and try again. If it still takes > 2 secs, return it...
The responsiveness can vary depending if you have it set to auto check your Contacts at (every) launch, to how many Contacts you have.
Adjust your setting to manual to see if that improves it; otherwise, you may just have more Contacts than that of your friend's that has to load.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to clear things up a bit with what I experienced.
I suddenly was finding that my Home button wasn't reacting as it used to. It sometimes brought up the voice commands even with only one click instead of two and sometimes the button wouldn't even work at all from inside the browser app or the mail app.
I realised it was a voice command shortcut problem so i tried to freeze it using titanium pro. The problem persisted. So much so that i thought it was a hardware problem.
Today i tried (desperately) to actually UNINSTALL the voicecommand app instead of freezing it. Well that did it guys. By uninstalling it the home button is back to its speedy self and doesn't hang or wait 5 seconds before exiting the apps. It's back to working as it should.
So if you're having problems, just uninstall the voice command application instead of just freezing it. let me know if this worked for you guys too.

The one click registering as double happened for about a week on my iPhone 4. It got incredibly annoying but then just fixed itself. Since you aren't using voice commands anyway, removing the lag has only advantages.

Hello, I was using my phone (Setup WatchOn and was playing with it, did not add or remove anything before my problems began) which I was able to use WatchOn without any problems, then after about a hour of not receiving any texts I suddenly received 6 in a row that didn't show up when they were sent. I restarted my phone since that was weird obviously and when it boot back up I can no longer do anything with it. I can turn on the phone (I have already restarted several times, removed the battery and put it back in) but when the phone is on I can't swipe up to unlock the phone. The time is displaying and the battery is changing like the phone is completely normal but I can't get into it anymore. If I hold the power button and spam press the restart button it actually react to it eventually but it takes some time.
If anyone has any idea what's wrong or how to fix it I would appreciate it greatly.
Try using the Samsung Kies restore method.... I have posted a couple of times on multiple threads on how to do this....
