Looking for specific case. - Touch Pro, Fuze Accessories

I'm making this thread just in case the Sprint HTC Touch Pro does not come with the slip cover that the unlocked HTC Touch pro comes with ( my preferred case ). I am wondering if anyone has come across something similar to this but for the Touch Pro.
I would prefer it to be a cloth material like this and not leather. Also I prefer it to be a slide in from the top case like this too. I will continue searching, but if any of you have suggestions PLEASE let me know. Thanks!

Have a look here, lots of cases suitable for the Touch Pro: http://www.htcdepot.com/

Decals from decalgirl.com

I noticed there was a forum thread in the Diamond forum about the Decals you could get for that phone. I thought that they looked pretty mint and shot off an email to the Website enquiring if they will be doing decals for the Touch Pro. I got a response within about 12 hours saying that they should have them up in the next couple of weeks of so.
Should be good if the Diamond ones are anything to go by ...

Wow, I would love to have one of these skin on my phone. I've been looking for these (the main reason was because of the finger print magnet on my Fuze)
I've checked the one for Diamond, and it seems that they like design with skulls
Also, I've noticed that their sticker doesn't cover everything. It only covers the top surface, so that mean if you choose a white design, you'll still see black on the side (which I think it's not nice at all). To make this issue less obvious, I would choose a black design. For the price I may buy a few of them to see how it goes.
looking forward to these. I have their Ipod skin and it is very high quality!
are there skins like these for the HTC Touch Pro?
They should sell the digital background for S2U2, then maybe I would buy it, if they have one for the Touch Pro.
I'd also like to see a real picture of this on a Touch Diamond, not the fake image enhanced versions to see if the black lining is a bother or not.
i emailed them and asked for Touch Pro (or Fuze)... and this is the reply
Dear ****,
Thank you for contacting us. I am sorry we do not have that phone available yet. The skins are custom fit so the other HTC skins we have will not workfor your Fuze.

I finally didn't buy a diamond skin, because I realized that Diamond doesn't have a flash in the back... so my Fuze may look weird with those skin. Also I don't think the touch pad in front will work (with Gscroll) after applying the sticker. If that doesn't work, it will kill the whole idea of putting a design in front.
they have just increased the shipping rate for Canada... this is so wrong
Ok, here is my short impression about this decal girl
This is the one I bought
http://www.decalgirl.com/browse.cfm/4,17596.htm
I'm from Canada, so I paid the $5 shipping instead of $2.50 (I found the shipping quite expensive). And since there is no skin for HTC Fuze, I got the one for Diamond, assuming it will fit.
Pro:
1- The quality of the vynil is amazing. It's probably the same one that they use to do stickers for car.
2- The print quality is good, but not great
3- The design is unique
4- The price is cheap, compare to those which are sale $8 for a screen protector on eBay. (Except for the shipping to Canada, it's way too expensive for a small piece of sticker)
5- Magically, even if you glue the sticker on the D-Pad, you can still use the D-Pad sensor (such as Gscroll... I find this amazing)
Reasons why you shouldn't buy it for your Fuze/Touch Pro (like me)
The front:
1- If you use Manila 3D, you will have problem to match the wallpaper with the stiker. The same will apply for HTC Diamond
2- The front speaker hole isn't wide enough, so it will cover the light sensor.
3- If you have a Fuze, the corner of your device is more round, and the sticker corner is more of a square corner... and it will leave some signigicant excesses at the corners.
The back
4- There is no flash and the camera hole is at a different position on the Diamond. So the back hole for Camera will be missplaced and there is no hole for the Flash, nor the speaker...
5- The sticker come flat, but once you apply it firmly on the back cover, you'll still see the diamond sharp
6- If you look on the decalgirl.com website, you'll see that the sticker is cut at the 4 corners, so make sure you buy something dark to make it look nicer on your black battery door.
In general
7- Your Fuze is twice thicker than the Diamond, therefore the side faces will be more significant. I find it very ugly to see all the black side faces on the Fuze
8- - It doesn't provide any screen protection, so you'll have to apply the sticker on top of your screen protector, so it will be thicker. I find this anoying.
9- Shipping outside of US is expensive, but it's pretty quick... I got it only after 2 days
So bottom line is:
Decalgirls provide really good quality product, if you buy it for other device listed on their website then I think it's a good investment. As for me, I didn't use mine, so I'll find a buyer to take it off me. And since the glue on the sticker is still good, I think I won't have any problem to resell it
Thanks pandaboyy for detailed review
Sorry to dig up this thread, but the Touch Pro skins are here . Hmm, how come they don't have the ACU camo skin...

I noticed the skins are kinda lame. There are a few good ones but I don't think they're worth it. And they are also not for the ATT Fuze and its diamond back.

Can you review the Maya Case for Touch Pro? I have a feeling they are all the same size and not custom made for Touch pro, and hence not fit snuggly around the phone.

Looking for Vertical Sleeve

Does anyone currently use a sleeve for their Touch Pro? I am actually using my friend's G1 sleeve for my Touch Pro and it works fine but I am looking for an alternative. I have seen the OEM Touch Pro leather case, but I don't like its look for the bottom of the sleeve. Anyone know of any good sleeves?

I'm using the one for Nokia N95... You have more options that way.
Do you have a link for the case you use? I have seen some for N95 but they aren't exactly what I'm looking for.
I use an Ipod sock. fits great, keeps it from getting scratched and cleans it everytime u pull it out lol. search ebay for ipod sock there all over the place on there.
I use the bag from my Oakley sunglasses.
Thanks, I'm aware of the sock type cases. I'm looking for something like a leather vertical sleeve case with nice lining inside.
Try PDair's Vertical Leather Case. It's made specifically for the Touch Pro and comes with or without a belt clip:

I have one right now and it's simple but classy-looking. Price is reasonable too

Screen protector, tips ?

i've been looking around for a new screen/full body protector the last couple of days. there are several that i was just about to buy, but then here and there you read about how the screen feels thick and gummy upon sliding ur finger on it.
any suggestion on which screen/full body protector gave u good results in this area? i dont care about the cost or other minor details, i just want it to feel smooth when sliding my finger over the screen.
i use the ones from http://www.htcaccessorystore.com/uk/p_htc_phone.aspx?i=173502.
i've had no experience with other aftermarket ones, so cant compare against them. however the ones from htcaccessorystore are on-par with those supplied by HTC in retail box.
uniqueskins.com
i purchased and designed my own. then bought a crystal clear hard case off ebay super cheap. looks really custom.

Personally I would use an invisible shield, They are a pain in the a to apply but worth it... there are videos on their site and youtube. They protect very well against keys and scratches. I used them both on my HD and diamond, they get easier to fit fortunately!
You can pick them up on ebay and online for about £16
hope this helps
A lot of screen protector threads already exist and lots of info on them in accessories forum. No need for this thread. Just post your queries on one of the existing ones

Zagg Invisibleshield and Telstra HD2

Does anyone know if the Invisibleshield that Zagg sells for the HD2 fits the Telstra model? I know with the Touch Pro 2, they had different shields for different versions of the phone based on carrier.

I'm pretty confident that all hd2s are the same body, panels and all.
Thanks for the reply, sam.

PS, i have the invisibleSHIELD and love it Glad i went for full body and not just front.
Hi!
Does InvisibleShield works well with your HD2? You get the same sensitivity from the screen?
im very happy with mine. Fits lovely and gives the phone a soft non slip feel on your fingers, but at the same time the screen isn't sticky. Finger slides well (i use swype) and it isnt peeling anywhere at the edges, despite being a front pocket phone with no other case. Feels solid after 5 or 6 weeks, and not a mark on it.
Sensitivity seems not to be affected, i still put the BSB tweak on whenever i flash, and its fine.
If you get one, dont be shy with the fluid when u are mounting, get the sticky side good and moist and it lets you move it around loads, but as soon as it sticks, its held tight. I did my first panel not wet enough and it was a bit awkward, but the rest were real easy to mount.
Everyone comments on the feel in your hand.
as said above, i'm glad i got the whole body kit not just the screen.
(Sound like i sell em dont i, lol)
