Decals from decalgirl.com - Touch Pro, Fuze Accessories

I noticed there was a forum thread in the Diamond forum about the Decals you could get for that phone. I thought that they looked pretty mint and shot off an email to the Website enquiring if they will be doing decals for the Touch Pro. I got a response within about 12 hours saying that they should have them up in the next couple of weeks of so.
Should be good if the Diamond ones are anything to go by ...

Wow, I would love to have one of these skin on my phone. I've been looking for these (the main reason was because of the finger print magnet on my Fuze)
I've checked the one for Diamond, and it seems that they like design with skulls
Also, I've noticed that their sticker doesn't cover everything. It only covers the top surface, so that mean if you choose a white design, you'll still see black on the side (which I think it's not nice at all). To make this issue less obvious, I would choose a black design. For the price I may buy a few of them to see how it goes.

looking forward to these. I have their Ipod skin and it is very high quality!

are there skins like these for the HTC Touch Pro?

They should sell the digital background for S2U2, then maybe I would buy it, if they have one for the Touch Pro.
I'd also like to see a real picture of this on a Touch Diamond, not the fake image enhanced versions to see if the black lining is a bother or not.

i emailed them and asked for Touch Pro (or Fuze)... and this is the reply
Dear ****,
Thank you for contacting us. I am sorry we do not have that phone available yet. The skins are custom fit so the other HTC skins we have will not workfor your Fuze.

I finally didn't buy a diamond skin, because I realized that Diamond doesn't have a flash in the back... so my Fuze may look weird with those skin. Also I don't think the touch pad in front will work (with Gscroll) after applying the sticker. If that doesn't work, it will kill the whole idea of putting a design in front.
they have just increased the shipping rate for Canada... this is so wrong

Ok, here is my short impression about this decal girl
This is the one I bought
http://www.decalgirl.com/browse.cfm/4,17596.htm
I'm from Canada, so I paid the $5 shipping instead of $2.50 (I found the shipping quite expensive). And since there is no skin for HTC Fuze, I got the one for Diamond, assuming it will fit.
Pro:
1- The quality of the vynil is amazing. It's probably the same one that they use to do stickers for car.
2- The print quality is good, but not great
3- The design is unique
4- The price is cheap, compare to those which are sale $8 for a screen protector on eBay. (Except for the shipping to Canada, it's way too expensive for a small piece of sticker)
5- Magically, even if you glue the sticker on the D-Pad, you can still use the D-Pad sensor (such as Gscroll... I find this amazing)
Reasons why you shouldn't buy it for your Fuze/Touch Pro (like me)
The front:
1- If you use Manila 3D, you will have problem to match the wallpaper with the stiker. The same will apply for HTC Diamond
2- The front speaker hole isn't wide enough, so it will cover the light sensor.
3- If you have a Fuze, the corner of your device is more round, and the sticker corner is more of a square corner... and it will leave some signigicant excesses at the corners.
The back
4- There is no flash and the camera hole is at a different position on the Diamond. So the back hole for Camera will be missplaced and there is no hole for the Flash, nor the speaker...
5- The sticker come flat, but once you apply it firmly on the back cover, you'll still see the diamond sharp
6- If you look on the decalgirl.com website, you'll see that the sticker is cut at the 4 corners, so make sure you buy something dark to make it look nicer on your black battery door.
In general
7- Your Fuze is twice thicker than the Diamond, therefore the side faces will be more significant. I find it very ugly to see all the black side faces on the Fuze
8- - It doesn't provide any screen protection, so you'll have to apply the sticker on top of your screen protector, so it will be thicker. I find this anoying.
9- Shipping outside of US is expensive, but it's pretty quick... I got it only after 2 days
So bottom line is:
Decalgirls provide really good quality product, if you buy it for other device listed on their website then I think it's a good investment. As for me, I didn't use mine, so I'll find a buyer to take it off me. And since the glue on the sticker is still good, I think I won't have any problem to resell it

Thanks pandaboyy for detailed review

Sorry to dig up this thread, but the Touch Pro skins are here . Hmm, how come they don't have the ACU camo skin...

I noticed the skins are kinda lame. There are a few good ones but I don't think they're worth it. And they are also not for the ATT Fuze and its diamond back.

[REVIEW] Nushield Screen Protector for Kaiser

My review of the screen protector from Nushield.
(Purchased 2 anti glare, 1 clear model screen protector [comes in a package of 3 only]~ 12 USD)
Install:
-Installation is pretty straightforward but requires some experimenting to get the film in.(Doesn't use a sticky film, but rather a slide in)
-Warning, Make sure that there is no dust under the screen! It is a pain to take out. Trust me i know, i accidently wasted a film by bending it to take it out.
-When you first get the product, u might think that the screen protector they sent you wasn't yours since it looked to big to be fitted in. But actually it fits perfectly once u manage to slide all sides in.
Sensitivity loss:
-On a scale of 10(10 meaning no sensitivity, and 0 meaning no screen protector) it receives a 1.
-However, I did find a HUGE improvement in the touchflo scrolling than without the screen protector.(If you own a kaiser, you should know of the smears and awkwardness of sliding ur thumb to scroll.)
Overall feel and look:
-I actually dont notice it, and it is fingerprint proof.
-Using touchflo feature, the thumb easily slides across with no smears, in other words i dont get that suction feeling.
-And dont forget this is a slide in, so you dont get those bubbles you get from using the provided screen protector you got with the kaiser. The screen protectors surface is really smooth, its like sliding a thumb across a sheet of printing paper)
PS: I have not tried the clear film yet, and dont think i have to. The antiglare film seems to be secure and feels as if it can last years...
My rating for the nushield screen protector is a 9/10.(would be 10/10 if it was easier to install, but then it wouldn't work as good )
As for purchase instructions, go to www.nushield.com and choose the HTC TYTN as for screen specs since it is the same as the kaiser. (I was foolish to try to custom make the screen protector for the kaiser only to realize that its the same size as the tytn!!*got email telling me that *) You can mix and match as i did by putting which films you would want under the comments on checkout.
Thanks for that, i was looking for a good screen protector but i didnt want those sticky ones. This is perfect and from your review, it seems to do a great job too!
Thanks, i just ordered one, but as you said, there was no 'kaiser' ones so i just ordered it for the tytn
I'll always be a fan of PocketPCTechs.com's WriteShields. And during October, you can get 20% off if you use this coupon code: PPCTRC1007
Type it into the Special Instructions field.
Just as an FYI to anyone else considering ordering the NuShield: I decided to try some based on this review, and also decided to get two anti-glare and one clear. I got the following response:
While we are always trying to be accommodating to our customers
special requests, this one has gotten out of hand. Someone must have
posted on a discussion board that we will do this. This request is
now occurring several times daily and represents a significant amount
of time and effort to put these special packages together.

Guess they don't like doing that very much.
EDIT: and fwiw, they appear to currently be out of anti-glare anyway, so I ended up ordering clear.
Martin Field's OverlayPlus
Best. Screen protector. Ever. Period.
It's non sticky, invisible, and best of all: If you mess up (e.g. bubbles, dust) while putting it on, you can just rinse it off with water, let it dry for a few minutes (or blow dry), and voila: It's clean and sticks again.
I've been using these things on my mobile phones, PDA's, Nintendo DS, etc, for as long as I can remember. Even after 5 years, you can simply take the screen protector off and your screen will look brand new.
Already have a small scratch? Put the screen protector on and it's gone

I thought the 8525 is the same as the TyTN, and the screen protectors for it won't quite fit the Tilt.
But you can confirm these will fit the Tilt?

Unless it's an unusually small screen protector for the TyTn/8525, you are correct that it will be too large for the Tilt. I had to trim about a millimeter off of each dimension of my Boxwave ClearTouch Anti-Glare for it to fit.
I really like the Boxwave protectors. I had one protector last for over two years on my Treo 650, and similar to another protector described, if you want to clean it just use hand soap and water and stick it right back on.
In fact, I found that if the protector is slightly wet, it is much easier to get the bubbles out. It took almost no effort after I trimmed it when I put it onto my Tilt's screen.
So do any of these make the screen easier to see in direct sunlight?
I just ordered 2 BRANDO superclear ones ... have had a lot of phones and have had a lot of screen protectors but i have to say brando is DEFINATELY the best.

I confirmed it in my review. BTW Dont be stupid and trim it, it fits perfectly, trimming it would cause it to be loose once its in which will become an annoyance.
I just received the overlay plus screen protector for the tytn, and it does not fit the kaiser screen. The tytn overlay is larger than the kaiser's screen. I hope martin fields accepts exchanges.

keep trying to fit it in, if you read the original review he says that it's very hard to get it in there, but once it's in...it's gonna do good.
I was able to fit it in but its not on perfectly because the overlay uses a silicone adhesive, which makes it somewhat difficult to maneuver unlike the nushield screeprotectors which you just slip in.

wait....i think this is a case of miscommunication, I thought that you couldnt insert the NuShield protectors in, so I said to keep trying because the original poster said that it took him a little bit, but now it seems like you are talking about another kind of protector.
Conclusion: I'm confused
a lot of 99 cents only stores have 10 for 1 screen protectors that are larger than the kaiser. i bought like 5 of these (50 count) and just cut them to the size of the manufacturer's protector. it takes about a minute and avoids the highway robbery of screen protector prices.

aaaah, makes sense. I already have my 6gb micro sdhc and my nushield protectors...im just waiting for my kaiser
Nushield now has a drop down menu for Tilt in ATT and TyTn II in HTC sections. I will order them since it seems like a pretty good value.
i ordered a shield from shieldzone.com
i have used them on my blackjack and digital camera, but never a PPC device so I will have to see how well it works..

HTC Kaiser Skins - InvisibleSHIELD, Body Guardz, etc...

I am thinking of getting a case to protect my Kaiser...
What do you guys think of this HTC Kaiser Body Guardz:
http://www.thepocketsolution.com/PSI-42272.html
I know it is transparent, but it is not clear if it will protect it from falls, etc...I doubt it...
/MN
weird ...
every other variations of the Kaiser ( TYTN II/8925/TILT/Vario III )is out of stock except for the "TILT" is available for ordering ...
http://www.thepocketsolution.com/PSI-42589.html
must be vendor error or NOT YET AVAILABLE ( should all be same ... except for the single camera model ) ... I would email & ask ... I think this is just website putting it up way before the device came out ... ( roughly within the last 2 weeks, if you covering all the variations coming to be reality. )
curious ... on one of the demo video ... they had the iPhone protected right over that touchscreen ... I got to thinking ...
if their measurement are top notch ... hopefully the one for the Kaiser does the covering for the screen too !!
we can skip the screen protector altogether ( its thickness replacing the screen protector's thickness ) ... LOL
those thing dries to an invisible result !! COOL stuffs ... I'll be ordering one for sure .. plus I'll get a cool case as well. ( because the guardz is mainly for nick & scratches ... not dropping.
The bodyguardz is because my Kaiser deserved the spoiling ... hahahah
this is weird indeed... I just checked a moment - it doesn't update the stock status until you get into the cart...I will shoot them an email?
what non-magnetic flip case would you recommend?
rgds, MN
I like that the back of the Kaiser is "slightly rubberized" it keeps it from slipping around like the old Hermes did. Does this cover feel the same way? I probably wouldn't go for it either way, but, if it is slippery, it takes away a nice feature IMO.
liking the look of the bodyguard thingey! is it tough/ - ie drop proof?
I put something like this on my wife's iPhone and it works great. Well worth the investment and it really cuts down on the fingerprint smudges (the iPhone is flat out impossible to keep smudge free). I used this skin and bought one of the thin ruberized cases, and my 14 month old daughter has knocked it off tables on several occassions with not a scatch or even a blip of the screen. I have to admit for all it's lack of features, that thing is TOUGH and makes a great device for my wife. I also like the peace of mind that the thing can get thrown around her purse to her hearts content right beside that massive key ring and all I have to do is peel that thing off and it will look like new.
I wonder how well it would suit the Kaiser though since it has more moving parts. On the two occasions my daughter has knocked my 8125 off the coffee table, I have cringed. No damage, but on one occasion the battery door got knocked off, thus forcing a soft reset. Even with one of these covers, I am thinking the sliding keyboard and pop off battery cover will make it more prone to injury, even when it is in a decent case.
Bottom line, I'll be making sure my Kaiser is out of reach!!
i've been watching that site for 3 weeks now waiting for them to get the skins in stock. well, my order went through without a problem
give us a feedback when u get it dude
traveling on business all week, but will follow up when i return next weekend.

As i've mentioned earlier about the iPhone howto video ...
Could you tell me how good the touch sensitive screen reponses when it have the "bodyguardz" covered ??
note: ... only certain kit(s) goes this way of "covering the whole screen" ... if it works well ... I hope the TyTN II kit do the same ...
thickness is similar to a screen protection I guess ... there's one video for the MACBOOK and it does the "covering of the mouse's touchpad" as well ... so I guess it works really well then.
YOUTUBE howto vids ... all sorts

ok guys (and any girls) i just applied the BodyGuardz to my Kaiser and took a few pics before hitting the road... I've included 10 pics in the attached zip file. they're not the best pics, but hopefully they give you some perspective on fit, look, etc. keep in mind that it takes 24 hours for the bubbles to disappear. the pics were taken about 3 hours after application so you'll see some bubbles here and there. by the way, you get 2 sets of skins and 3 screen protectors with the kit. each set includes a skin for the left and right sides, one for the top, one for the back and one for the front. the left side skin also covers the bottom of the phone. so far I'm pleased. i like the somewhat tacky-feel and now i know my phone will be protected from scratches when in my pocket. overall this is a pretty good value.
InvisibleSHIELD
Would anyone else be likely to purchase a screen and phone body protective case from ShieldZone if they have one available?
I have used these on many of my gadgets and they are the best around (IMHO)
I just emailed them to see if one is in the works and will post back with their reply when I recieve it.

I too think they make the best protection for our devices. I've used them on my previous Wizard and Hermes and loved them. The problem I see with putting them on the Kaiser/Tilt is that there's really not much real estate to cover. There's the screen (of course), but that's about it. I personally wouldn't want to cover the back because I like the grip I can get from it. The sides are "ridged", and can't be covered. And the rest of the face is just too small to cover.
But they're really good about making custom shields if you bring in your device to them and it's only like $10 more than their usual charge. But once they make a template, no more custom build fees.
I bought the invisibleshield for my 8125 many years ago. It was a big waste of money. I hated it.
i too had reservations about using a "skin" to protect my Kaiser. i just recently applied the BodyGuardz to my device and as of know, i think i'll continue to use them. this is a link to some pictures (some good, some not so good) in case anyone's interested to see how it turn out.
i had this for my wizard. I love how friendly customer service was. If for some reason, you screw up your cover, which is pretty hard to do, then you can ask them to ship you another one paying for shipping as long as you register.
Only complaint is that it's a little too thick. Didn't feel good with the stylus. But at least I was confident that my screen wasn't going to get damaged.
bloody hell i can hardly see it!
it looks so thin!
are you sure it will protect it?

yes, it's thin and it covers a significant portion of the device. durability is good at the moment...time will tell how well it protects the device.

I am pretty sure it will unless it covers 100% of the back. I kept my protection film on the battery cover for 2 days of use, when i took it off, there was a very noticeable trace from where it was.

Dust under the display close to volume up button

Hi, does anyone have dust under touch screen and LCD close to volume up button. When you look on the sun or strong light.
Theres gap between LCD and top glass and bad sealing around. Have never had any spec of dust in TD1.
Hope its not gonna cover whole display soon... ((
Sent it to the service center, they gonna exchange display with top touch screen. Thats HTC display defect...
They just blowed away the dust between LCD and Touch screen (not perfectly), I think that glued LCD with touch surface is much more better, this is not very good solution on TD2. Im disappoited with HTC Company.
WELL, MAYBE IM TOO PERFECTIONIST...
After several disassembly of my TD2 (testing) found the place where the dust comes in... Will describe it with pics later on...
Nope. Just a spec of dust that got under my screen protector
I've got a spec of dust close to the speaker side of the screen
oh, 2bad :/
this is indeed frustrating.
i'm on the lucky side...for now.

Yes I have exactly that. Very annoying!!! I too hope it doesn't get any worse.
I have also noticed dust between the two layers of the touchscreen in bright sun light. IMO it's a severe design flaw!
I had dust under the screen yesterday and today. Right now it seems to have migrated away.
The Diamond 1's LCD disply and Digitizer were pressed and seald together as one unit I beleive. The D2 isn't and has a Gap between the glass and LCD. I much prefer the LCD up against the glass with no gap. looks sharper, brighter, and better.
I think they skimped out a little on the D2 quality to keep cost down and also economize a little. Look at the packaging. I really don't mind it because the quality is still good and HTC probably saved some bucks and will thrive and give us even better phones when the economy strengthens.

you're right.
I got a diamond last year.everything were perfect.
in 6 days ago, I got a Diamond2
the box..........so cheap..
well , that doesn't a matter.
BUT, when I check ....
1.the backplate is very shining ...............
What,.... when they were painting, they DID NOT check the dust on the
backplate.......
so , I change a new phone
2.the ups said that Diamond1 the display and that screen we touch or tap is a
same unit is really correct. In Taiwan, if your panel got any problems, you have to change the whole part.
at the final, to me , that isn't a problem ..
Because, the new Diamon2 I got , got a same problem
(dust in screen, and now , I can not find it lol.
but I have to say,
In taiwan , we really hope, HTC have got better and better..
with a bset quality.
hey diecorroder
so is TD2 good??

HA HA, in Taiwan that is a really really old conversation.
at the final, the point is
1.do you really need a 3.5 phonejack?
2.do you care about the size of you phone?
3.and the performance, it's same. Just like custom rom from Diamond2 can work on HD, so .. perfermance is not the point when you have to choose from the two phone.
to me, the HTC earphone I have is a really old model, but it got a gool quality,so I don't need a 3.5, and it's too big to put into my pocket
so I choose DIAMOND2
by the way , original rom in Diamond2 is really good..
(it is not my first HTC pda phone, I have got CHT9000,9100,9110,Elfin,Diamond..., but truely, it's first time I did not so hurry to find a custom Rom)
hey
well TD2 is new here in europe hehe..
3.5mm jack is stupid.read this.
http://pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=news&id=6885
The htc touch HD is 3.8 inch and TD2 is 3.2 inch its not that much of a difrance.
and the touch screen is better on the TD2.
so i will go for the TD2
one more thing, it says that TD2 supports WMV, ASF, MP4, 3GP, 3G2, M4V, AVI formats. Dose that means that i dont need coreplayer??
I have experienced the same problem of dust accumulating beneath the screen in the top left corner.....only had the device a week!.
I sent it back for exchange and have now received another new device. Ive noticed the screen on the new device flexes a little when you press it.
I guess time will tell, whether this will be as bad!
me too
My TD2 isn't even one week old and I have the exact same problem in the same position!
...really pisses me off. how can something like this happen to such an experienced class leading company?
this is just cheap!

It's beleive it is glass. I don't know exactly. Some people on here have complained that it is cheap flexible plastic but it is not the same as the Elfin. That was plastic for sure and I ave already replaced the digitizer on the Elfin.
We all know that there are 2 layers to the screen and I beleive it is what makes it more sensitive and accurate than other resistive screens. (among other things)
My Tought
There is a plastic membrane, if you take the stylus and look across the plane of the screen while pressing it you will see it flex. This flex is limited though due to there being glass. Tap and poke at it and you can hear/feel it. This is also proven by the fact that you can press with fairly great pressure and never come in contact with the LCD. You never get and color mixtures or whatever that's called. So the digitizer is 2 layers. A plastic to highten risitiveness of the screen and glass to protect the lcd and limit the memrane travel.
Pleas note that this is just what I have observed and noticed about the device and beleive it to be correct. Do not take it as 100% truth but please do observe the flexing and how you can press fairly hard without even touching the actual LCD.
Touch Freak, I belive you are right, makes total sense...
No other with the dust problem???
I want to migrate from TP to TD2... but if the dust problem persist I probably desist...
later
Tyrone
I don't have any dust problem with my TD2...
I think we'll need to start some poll thread...

find a protector for the iphone, cut it a little with a scissor and it sould be it
I have a Brando Ultraclear in the mail. I have used those for all my devices since the S/E K750i. Their fit is not always 100% but they do the job well

well, the screen is different than normal touch phones.. uses the same mechanism as the iphone were it registeres the electricity in your finger's instead of the actual pressure.. thats why it needs to be some kind of speciel protector.. so my guess is that one that works on the iphone would work on the magic
I got this from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0028E7HMU/ref=ox_ya_oh_product
and its REALLY great: perfect fit, bubble free, absolutely transparent
I like the Invisible Shield full body skin. Unfortunately they haven't made on for the Magic yet, BUT they have made it for the G1 and you can either get the full body or just the screen. Now I am assuming the screen on the G1 and the Magic are the same so if you just want the screen protection, go for that one.

thanks but... Doh! Too late for me
ive installed invisbile skin on ipod touch before and are there like places where water can get in when applying the skin onto the magic?
I must say that the InvisibleShield is rather a sh*t product. I bought the full body kit and was not happy at all. It was not cut properly and what even worse looked cheap on my phone. I removed all of the parts but screen and back panel. After 2 weeks the back panel went yellow and all the edges lost the glue making it fold outside. What even worse is that on the description it says that all the micro bubles will disappear in time. Well they do not. Oh one more thing, while mounting it on your phone you will have to wet it all with some kind spray they provide and leave it for like 24h to let it dry. DUDE THAT IS THE WORST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME.
got mine from ebay user dcmugen. i got the matte finish one and it of the same quality as all other screen protectors. the matte one has this grainy look to it though but all of them have that as well so no deal breaker there.
http://www.dcmugen.com/
you can check the various different screen protectors there. plus he has videos of what they all look like. has privacy glass, mirror finish, matte finish, regular gloss and whatever else there.
My t-mo phone came with one, I would imagine that they sell them in the stores as well?
ya i didnt like the one that came with the mytouch. way too greasy and fingerprint magnet. aftermarket ones are much better imo
I tried a screen protector I got off eBay, there are heaps of Chinese dudes selling them for a few bucks plus postage.
I didn't like it, it made the touch screen less responsive and imprecise. I ended up taking it off.

Offical Smart Flip case

Hi all fellow Priv'ers
Just thought I'd share my experience now that I finally got the official smart flip case.
First impressions are it's a premium case, with real leather finish and doesn't bulk out the Priv too much and feels really nice to the touch.
What's really great about it is the 'smart' functionality, which basically means that when fitted and the case closed what you get is a square cut out on the front that displays the time etc. when the power switch is pressed and the case is closed. It also shows recent missed calls, emails, notifications, etc. on screen and allows you to flick up and view the details of the notifications without having to open the case, so very handy allowing you to quickly see what notification has come through. The case also has a cut out where the notification light is (top right) so that lights up still and is noticeable even with the case closed.
I paid around £25 GBP on Ebay for mine, from here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/BRAN...0068&clkid=1598827080704154862&_qi=RTM2108002
The case retails for £45 GBP officially, so a bit of a bargain.
I can get some pics uploaded of it in action if anyone's interested as not seen anything posted anywhere else about the case.
FYI the plastic slider "hard" case is cheap plastic, it does fit the phone well but makes it too wide to fit into the leather slip-in pouch and personally I find it feels tacky.
Happy with the leather slip-in pouch, tight fit and it has holes in the right places for charging and notification lights.

I agree with you that plastic seemed like a bad move and should have been some aircraft grade aluminum or something. That said, I think the added width and thickness make it easier to type on the physical keyboard because some of the keys are no longer on the edge and I also don't trust myself to drop it outside of the pocket pouch and it only takes once.
Also, I found a guy on esty selling handmade leather Priv pouches in various leather colors for less than the OEM pouch. I contacted him with my new Priv dimensions with hardshell and he said he had no problem with the custom order.
I think if it's a night on the town, I might use the phone naked with OEM pouch but everyday use, I'm going with hardshell with custom pouch.
here are a couple pics of his work:

I've got both the tan smart flip and blue slider brand new boxed if anyone wants them. Just pm me and I'll do a good price in the UK. Both unused because I returned the Priv before use. I really didn't think it was an upgrade over my note 4 after using it for just over a week. Since I've bought the note 5 which is amazing.
Can I have a pics of them? Im interested.

The slider case is a bit tacky for sure - but, does protect the phone very well, though the amount of bulk added is substantial. I received both the Priv and the case together so never really used the phone naked. Couple of days ago I was showing the phone to a friend and he asked me to take it out of the case. I must say I was surprised myself at how compact the Priv really is - not just for a device with a full Qwerty keyboard, for any phone, Blackberry have done extremely well in putting all in such a small package.
The flip case looks quite nice - how easy do you find it to use the sliding keyboard with it?. does it require flipping the front cover to the back??.

Cool, yes the flip case (which is very slim too) needs flipping/opening to allow access to the keyboard but as the front is super slim (maybe 3-4mm) once opened it tucks behind fine so using the keyboard is not hampered at all.
Do you have any issues with them?
My got something like wrinkles on it and start ripping.
Also have the wrinkling on the outside of the hinge area, guess it's not the most robust leather they used huh! :-/
