i have the shadow through t mobile and i just dont want the my faves app on there. i previously had the excalibur and the wm6.1 rom update removed the app . is there any way to remove it from the shadow?
There are two different versions of wm6.1 here too that remove myFaves. Both mine and Hikey's do that.

I payed $40 for this program and it was working fine on the stock WM6 rom that came with the T-Mobile Wing.
Now, on the touch it 2.3 rom it installs and connects fine but there is no text box. I've tried a dozens times reinstalli and nothing seems to work... any ideas anyone?
Reinstall your stock rom, there is stock T-Mobile RUU floating around...If you look in the "customizing" group, you can find a standalone plugins (cube,home plug cabs) you can install on top of your stock rom. Looks just like Touch-it minus some apps that come with touch it.
I would do the page pool mod on the stock rom. I am running a stock rom on my wing with page pool mod and the home plug. It rums perfect. I had lots of bugs on my phone as well with the touch it, like they say "Every install is a differant one on a phone"
So, some people might have bugs and some might not have any...
also uninstall the OZ client,,that crap wont quit after its started!
Plus other useless apps.
MY IM+ runs perfect, the only problem is this new version does not want to work with the proxy settings. I need to find the older version!
Are you running proxy? If yes, what version IM+ are u using?

Did you run the Network Wizard config tool to set up your internet connections etc...? If your phone isn't configured to connect to the internet, nothing that uses internet will work.

Hmm... I installed the official USA RUU T-Mobile ROM onto my wing... MY IM+ now works but it is very nnoticably slower then the touch it rom.
i wish there was a way around this so I can use IM+ on the touch it rom
do the following on your stock rom
4mb page pool
over clock to 260mhz using battery status
i had the same problem, i switched to Agile Messenger and it works perfectly

I'm looking for the 'best' version of the HTC Touch / TouchFlo Today screen app - not the one line thing, but the nice 1/2 screen black interface with the clock.
Before I get flames - I did search both of the Titan threads here; however, a lot of the links provided pointed to nothing or to sites that are no longer available. The one that I did find seemed to hose up my XV6800 (luckily I was able to boot into safe mode on it - I use iLauncher - and then remove the app which fixed the hang). So I want to see what everyone else is using for this application, and which version is the 'best' - by that I mean that uses the least memory, has the most features (5 tabs would be my minimum), etc.
Thanks everyone for any advice, links, etc.

If so you can just install the HHC app and it will install the HTC home plugin. Configure it to not use the weather as that is the memory leak.
HHC is the best one that i have found and works really well

I was using the SPB Mobile suite with the Diamond skin prior to flashing with the just released Verizon WM6.1 update.

Oh ok. So the SPB one is safe to use then. Great...I had SPB Mobile Shell 2.0 so i've just reinstalled it along with the greatball Diamond theme. Looks like i'm all set again.

Weather Watcher from Singers Creations, it's completely free, and has very detailed weather info. Hourly/Daily/maps/alerts, etc.
Unfortunately it's not a today plugin program, it has to be launched by hand. It also keeps track of how much data it's transferred so you can get an idea if it will exceed your quota from your provider. Tho I think most of us have unlimited plans.

Sorry, Jambrose, but the latest one you specified at http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showthread.php?t=235876 is the one I tried before. Once I install it, and try to go to the Today control panel applet, the Titan hangs. When I soft-reset it, it boots up, but as soon as it gets to the Today screen, ActiveSync (window) pops up on it, I get an error message from Voice Command, and then it hangs. Over and over.... Luckily I use iLauncher and used the safe restart mode and removed it. Once I did that everything went back to normal.
There is something about this version of the app that doesn't like the Titan or dcd's particular ROM.
Any ideas anyone? And dcd, if you read this, any chance of you adding the HTC app to your ROM kitchen as an optional install? (maybe then it would work right)

Well, I've got the xv6800. Istalled the program and now the phone locks up everytime at the today screen. Sometimes not even getting it loaded all the way. How do i either fix this for get this off my phone so I can use the phone?

EDIT: NVM...I ended up doing a hard restart. Unless I did something wrong, people with the 6800 beware. Phone my lock up on you.

it worked fine on my htc touch when i was at wm6, but after i upgraded the rom to wm6.1, i get a homexec error, or something like that. then on reset, it hangs like other people said.

Only TouchFlo, I need to finish grabbing stuff from the Dash 3G to get the Flash App. That is removed by HTC in the TP2 version (The MyFaves.exe & SWF files).
I made a MyFaves cab a while ago as a regular today plugin for WM6.1 ... (Non touch flo, manila, sense or whatever)

I tried this on a HTC Jade and it installed and showed on the Windows Mobile Today Screen but will not work properly. I got the text saying MyFaves were refreshed but immediately got another saying "Your new handset does not support myfaves icon synchronization." You have any ideas?

my os is still winmo 6.1 and i don't really want to upgrade to 6.5 yet (because the next g rom isnt out yet and i dont want a different version). but i do like the htc sense UI with the weather in the middle of the time animated and the colourful task icons.
i want something like this:

Jackos hybrid rom includes WM6.1 and Sense 2.1... He is also working on Sense 2.5 for WM6.1, I believe. Check it out, I tried and it's really stable. Only a couple minor bugs. But there's a ton of free RAM and it's really quick! Link below:

Jacko ROM rocks.. I have been using it intensively for a whole week...
and frankly... together with the Tarkim's Keyboard Configuration Apps... they save my TP2 from being dumped into the drawer... You must try it out if you want Sense on 6.1 (I don't want 6.5 too.. as I hate that stupid honeycomb interface which takes away my keyboard quick selection ...)
is there any way to get the sense with the weather without flashing a new rom?? if not is there any way to flash roms on a mac and or unlock my tp2 on a mac? what about backing up/syncing my tp2?

That's Manilla messaging that is part of the Sense UI. It's not a fully integrated messaging as you will find in Sense 2.5 roms. NRG removes HTC messaging from his roms but that portion of it can still be accessed when using messages from Sense home screen. It's the same thing with Sense 2.1 for TP2 & earlier devices.
There are full HTC messaging .cabs available in the apps & themes forum, look for the HTC Messaging 2014 thread, but it's not going to look like that.
