seriousproblem with O2xda only flash rom 2002 but 2003 not??

at first i am not expert...but i want to tell u to i can flash rom by xdarit xdaool ....by *.nb1 *.nbf fixbootloader .. by no have a problem........ by read in this site... i flash rom more than 50 times : ) at my own O2
yesterday i buy secondhand from seller......... to give it for my wife because her birthday present
no luck vibrate is not use and i didn't check infared because i never use it........ but case ias very new likw a new model that make me decide to buy
when i come back to home i open it and that show my rom is.... xda ser12 radio 4.17 Wallaby 5.17 can talk...internet ..all of function ok
then i upgrade radio to 4.21 with no problem and next step i downgrade 5.17-5.15 by bootloaderfix...that no problem wallaby 5.15 already....
i burn rom 4.00.11 Nk.nb1 cook from makis kitchen ( that alway success everytime when i flash rom ) but when write to sd that show message
cannot write because I/O error that make me funny because i use this rom in 2 days ago...i try again and same....... may be change rom i think....
1.and i flash rom 4.01.00 Nk.nbf by xdarit to sd and put to my O2 and wait until finish..... hard reset.... but that hank on boot screen this rom tet only not for sell
2.i try to second time and i flash rom 4.01.00 Nk.nb1 by xdatool to sd and put to my O2 and wait until finish.....check sum ok hard reset.... but that hank on boot screen this rom tet only not for sell again and show current rom+radio+32S54
3.same as 1-2 but in wm2003 rom again and again 4.00.05
4.same as 1-2 but in wm2003 rom again and again 4.00.16
5.same as 1-2 but in wm2003 rom again and again 4.00.21
6.same as 1-2 but in wm2003 rom again and again 4.01.00
7.same as 1-2 but in wm2003 rom again and again 4.01.16
8.same as 1-2 but in wm2003 rom again and again 4.00.11

( also in wallaby 5.15 5.17 5.22 6.22 ) because i have patch 5.17 and 6.22 aleady ( and use with xdarit xdatool )
what happen ?????? i hank on boot screen when finish all of rom 2003 of i have but in 2-3 days agos that work
then decide to flash rom to 3.17.03 ppc2002 Nk.nbf / Nk.nb1 ................ that success........ but when i press infared recieve... that hank and i will reset it.... at everytime to press it ... i delete it in windows/start menu /program.... and sometime my O2 is hank...

i download rom again with makis and lumpistefan with both and save as 4.00.11Nk.nb1.makis 4.00.11Nk.nb1.stefan
download in 10 type of rom in nb1 and Nbf
i flash to 2003 again and same 1-10 step that i write............................but in 2002 rom that no problem
Please somebody tell me..... what happen with my wife O2 ..... i cannot flash rom to 2003 but 2002 it work only Unbelievable
i will come back to home and borrow my O2's friends to test flash rom in this eveninig ( this time 15.00 in thailand ) and will post again

Have you tried using a different sd card for flashing?

successfully to upgrade im wm2003 again
yesterday i go to repair infared...and come home to try again........ that can upgrade in all of rom in wm2003 or 2002 ... ... ???
why did broken infared make me to 2002 but for 2003 not ..... ? any idea ?

Error Message - Unable to resolve/understand

Hi,
I have a O2 Xda mini S (Wiza200). It has a German Rom but I use English in the Regional Settings as I donot understand German.
IPL & SPL 1.03
GSM 1.8.10.0
OS 1.1.7.5
Rom Verion 1.1.7.5
Rom Date 9/22/05
Radio Version 01.08.10
Protocol Version 4.0.13.18
ExtRom Version 1.1.7.105
NO Extra storage at this point of time.
Problem:-
1. At the time of boot it shows an error message
"Cannot load resource library \Windows\MCRes???.dll, exiting..."
I need help to resolve this. There is NO file the Windows Directory resembling this.
2. Also I need an advice is the above ROM is too old a ROM. Also any benefits I will get if I upgrade.

Activate ExtROM on MDA3

Hi,
I have 2 problems:
1. I flashed my mda3 from WM2003 to wm6. Unfortunately I forgot to activate my ExtROM. Is it possible to acitvate it now?
2. I flashed my mda3 with HELMI_BA_WM6_R0_.exe (CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2). Now I want to upgrade to WM6 Pro CE OS 5.2.1933 (Build 18533.0.7.0) Updated [30.11.2007] but it doesn't work. Have anyone an idea?

1. Activate ExtROM? Have you ever read the wiki?
You can resize your storage, but extrom is gone - there's no need to have one in WM6.
If you are attached to your ExtROM, create ExtROM folder in your SD card.
2. Yes, YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE to upgrade to this version because of your "doesnt work" error message

O2 Xda Orbit - The Image file is corrupted. Please check your Update Utility

I have a O2 Xda Orbit (in the wiki, the cruiser version).
Whenever I run the update tool to update whatever (splash screen gsm radio version, rom) it spits out this error:
The Image file is corrupted. Please check your Update Utility
What is wrong?

Are you in Windows Vista? (Try Windows XP)
Do you have an SDHC card? (Take it off)
And don't forget to run USPL before you flash anything.

Also you can search for a newer version of the update utility (although I don't know if that will work).

USPL is the one that makes my screen show a tux pinguin, right? (how cool... can we run linux on that? )
if I run uspl firts it freezes showing a penguin and its not connected to computer via activesync, therefore not able to connect with rom updater
