i have a t mobile mda that i used the lokiwiz on to sim and cid unlock then installed 2.25 cingular rom and it worked for about a month then a box just poped up when i went to make a call that said insert sim and will not work at all no matter what i do i have tryed unlocking it with all versions of lokiwiz and nothing works i have hard reset it then tried still nothing can someone please help me i dont no what to do and i just bought the phone a lil over a month ago

You need to unlock two things:
SIM lock to be able to use non-T-Mobile SIMs - use lokiwiz for this
CID lock to be able to flash with another (WWE instead of NLD) ROM - use aWizard for this
I did this and all works gr8 now

I have downloaded lokiwiz but it appears on the screen...
DO NOT DISCONNECT UNTIL PHONE REBOOTS...
But my phone doesn't reboot!!! When I manually
reboot the phone I get the message that it failed
because I disconnected it.
I have tried both U and C.....
I copied the files to the root C:\
What I'm I doing wrong?

I did that and that message was on my screen for about 5-7minutes I think, then something else came written up and in 30seconds the phone rebooted by itself. so maybe try again?

You should tell everyone what youve done wrongly so the same mistake won't happen again

Iv just tryed to unlock my MDA vario it was on T-mobile befor when i put a o2 sim in it said put some code in but iv tryed to unlock it and downloaded some programs from the net and connected my MDA via USB and unlocked it but 1 problem when i put the o2 sim card in it works fine the phone reception is good but when i try to call the phone i get this msg

I have an MDA II which is locked to tmobile.. i've been trying to unlock this thing for weeks.. Iv tried lokiwiz and that still didnt work.
When i boot up the phone with my o2 simcard it says 'Network is locked, Please input unlock code' and it will not let me open up any files or go off this message. Please help. Thanks.
I tried searching the forums but i couldn't find any posts about my specific problem. I've seen sort of similar problems, but not the same one, so here i am posting a new thread xD
Anyway, my issue is that whenever i try to start my phone with a cingular sim card installed, it can't. More specifically, it gets to the second screen where it has the windows mobile logo, then it just restarts. It loads completely with no sim, or if i use a tmobile sim i can at least get into windows where it asks for the sim unlock code, but with a cingular or att sim, it just wont start! it acts as it would if you charge it without a battery. any clues?

The extended_Rom has got corrupted,try out a Hard reset,check if it works,otherwise reflash the official carrier's Rom or SIM/CID unlock the phone and upgrade to any latest wm6.
Hello all,
I have a T-Mobile MDA Vario (HTC Wizard) that I've been using on the Hutchison Network in Austria. The Phone was CID and SIM unlocked by me 1 year ago.
Suddenly the phone no longer recognizes the SIM card saying "missing or invalid SIM".
I tried the SIM in another phone and it works fine. I tried also a T-Mobile SIM, same problem. I did a soft and hard reset but still no luck. I tried also to lock and unlock the SIM using Wizard Service Tool, still the same problem. Wizard Service Tool shows CID unlocked and SIM unlocked.
I tried also Button's 1.05 ROM, same problem.
Any Ideas??
