Hello, i have a HTC 4350 and the original version of OS was in spanish. I've tried to put an english version on it and now it's blocked in a tricolor screen !
Please help me with an older version of OS:
On screen i have IPL:1.08.001 ans the same SPL !

I hope that solves your problem. It should reload you to the HTC Herald Rom in Spanish.

Infortunatly I have upgraded my XDA 2i with wrong (XDA II) ROM image. Now I can't find any German Rom image to restore it. WWE image I found at xda-developers works fine but there is no german Version.
If someone can give me a download link please help me.

I just uploaded the ROM once again. Since I think, this file is legal (it's the original ROM from o2 Germany as shipped with the device), and since nobody complained about the file being on the ftp, I believe, it was accidently deleted from the server. If there are any concerns from the side of the admin, it would be nice to contact me or post it here.

Yeah I dont know, how many is Charmer ROMs, but I have made one In english (but with CZECH parts like total commander).
So, Anybody can edit extROM and Delete Czech files (cesky.cab, sym.txt) and than you can enjoy that ROM
It works on CID locked devices !!

Yes it would be nice if someone on this site would help with the problem above as I have the same on the Russian version of this PDA. You can only buy Russian version in Moscow

Prior to the ROMs being removed from the XDA ftp, i grabbed a complete backup of everything Herald related (and some other bits)
Currently running this ROM on both my own, and my girlfriends Herald, and it works like a charm.

and i tryed the other solution also and it didn't work

I'm a newbie at HTC devices (and Pocket PC devices for that matter). I just bought myself a HTC P4350 (Herald)... which I really really like BTW... I bought it in Italy and it comes with the Italian OS. Since I'm an english speaker I'd really like to have an English OS. I cannot find a way to switch this so I get the impression that this is part of the ROM. Can anyone confirm this?
According to HTC support once it is set on the device it cannot be changed but from what I've been able to read on this site I should be able to just load up a new ROM and be able to go with this. Is this correct?

i need some help, just sold out my wizard and im going to buy a herald. the one i'm buying as the windows in spanish, but i want to put it in wwe.
The phone is sim, inlocked but it could be cid locked, there for i may no be able to flash it with the new rom.
it seems there is no unlocker for herald but can i flash it easy?

I see there are program for switching between German, Dutch and English. You may try to ask for Italian also. This guy is really helpful

DON'T DO ANYTHING STUPID, do NOT flash your device to WM6 before you have read whatever you can about flashing your device (check out the WIKI), I suggest you'd better wait for the official ROM from HTC...
