I only just bought my Athena (Dopod u1000) for nearly a week now. My dopod has a random error report and screen freezes. Have you guys experienced similar symptoms. By the way, error reports usually indicate malfunctionality of "GWES.exe", "Launcher.exe" with some others. Do you know what these exe are for?

BTW, I just got another one coming. Now the error reporting also reports error of "device.exe". Any ideas of what these exe. are for and what possibly could have caused the error in them? Thank you in advance
You could try a hard reset and see if it disappears after fresh install. This error is not on ameo.

Hi i just started getting this error message when i start to use bluetooth on my xda2 the error message is "There is no bluetooth hardware installed on this device" and i cannot use my bluettoh no more keep getting the same error could anyone please help me with trying to solve this problem i check around on the internet but did not find anything that could help me solve the problem.

It appears that a Hard Reset and re-installation is in your future. Please read the thread - it reinforces the important idea that HR and restore will not solve your problem, since it restores whatever caused the problem in the first place.

I had the exact same problem yesterday. After a HR bluetooth worked again. After restoring a backup, it quit again.
Had to install all my applications from scratch. Joy!
I keep different copies from backup with different dates. If restore does not solve the problem I use a file with more older date.
This problem has been posted before but I haven't been able to find any solution yet.
I have a UK T-mobile G1.
I started getting the error "Unable to start Wi-Fi", tried updating to JF v1.51 and the latest radio rom installed as well. Don't have any apps as I've tried wiping the handset as well.
Any help would be appreciated
Absolutely sure you have the latest radio? Try wiping and loading a different ROM, as well. If a 2nd ROM still has that issue, it sounds like hardware failure - exchange it.

I'm getting an error - "CreateDirectory() Error!!" every time when I reset my phone. I'm not sure which program is failing and causing this error. I'm still on Tmobile US stock ROM, got my HD2 last week. I've loads of apps/games installed.
Not sure if anyone else have this problem, so just checking.. I couldn't find anything in XDA search & google search as well..

I have not heard of this issue, but the only thing I can think of is to reinstall a ROM, then install things one at a time and try it out for a while then you will see what the problem is ...
OR... think about when you first started seeing the error, around that time what app did you install last ? ...remove that one then work your way back down until you fix it/remove the error or app with the error...

I've been trying to connect to 4G for roughly an hour since doing a full upgrade for the radios/WiMax/etc. and it times out every time it tries to connect. Is anyone else having this problem? Are there any fixes? I'm gonna attach a LogCat in case anyone wants to take a look, since I'm terrible at reading scripting.

Also check and see if your WiMAX RSA keys are intact. There is a key checker in the Market.
+1 to the above comment, hope you had your wimax keys backed up...
I've already tried everything, unfortunately I used to use Clockwork Recovery and so I didn't have my Wimax backed up. Learned my lesson a little too late, but w/e, 4G isn't a necessary part of my day.
I was having the same issue and tried updating my profile and got this error message. Verbatim "The profile update could not be completed. Please try again later. If the problem persists, you may need to contact Customer Service.
Error code:1012"
I've tried updating several times since that and nothing. Anybody got any ideas?

And you're sure that this issue is a rom fault? Do you have any logs or steps to reproduce? You are the only one with this issue?

I'm sure the error is a rom error because I don't encounter this problem in oos rom
remember that there was a mistake in the past. The screen was locked and only the led light was on,,He wasn't making a move on the phone.
I get an error when I tap the keypad area repeatedly or when the phone is in a closed area (pocket mode)..
this error is more of a problem I have encountered in the last 2-3 months.
for example aex romda and unofficial pixelexperince mod did not have this error...

As I wrote before: please take logs and steps to reproduce. Then post is within the specified rom thread, cause here no developer takes care of it and I can't remember to read a similar issue somewhere.

Random Reboots
I had the problem of my One plus 5 rebooting over and over from first initial set up to updating the phone from stock to 9.0.4. I unlocked it and flashed crDroid hoping it would fix it, initially it didn't until I just thought of trying to disable the hardware keys in the crDroid settings and chose to use onscreen software keys and so far no forced reboots since toggling the hardware buttons off. So maybe it is an issue with the system getting confused between a screen tap and hardware key press if someone can confirm this helped their one plus 5 rebooting on its own even after updating to latest ROMs from official updates.

I think the source of this error is caused by double-clicking on the lock screen
(I don't have a problem when I close the settings)
when I open the setting, I'm having this problem, so my idea is why.
