I plan to use the MDA compact with Tmobile USA. Tmobile Netherlands has the English ROM, but it is SIM Locked to Tmobile. But I wonder if it's SIM-locked to Tmobile Netherlands or can it work with any Tmobile?
I think it won't work because in the US T-Mobile would have a different provider id.

Will a tmobile uk htc hd2 work with a us sim card? I already know 3g will not work. Or will I have to just get an unlocked one?
The HD2 is a quadband phone, so pretty much any 2G gsm sim card will work.

no they can not handle att 3g bands. the only streak with att's 3g is the beta att streaks witch have been blacklisted. you will only get 2g using att with the o2 phone.
