Some original 2020i roms. thought i'd share with you guys - PDA2, XDA IIi, 2020i Software Upgrading

I have an original non-branded Qtek 2020i newest rom for anyone who wants it.
AL_DT_WWE_11100_112_10200_Ship-freezz-empty.zip
This is the original update without ANY software, it's totally empty.
bck-org-rom.zip
The .cab files stipped from the rom (if you want to install any by hand)
Qtek_original2020i_nobrandingWWE_11100_112_10200_Ship .zip
The original generic Qtek 2020i rom (no branding)
Use it if you want to change back to an empty original device with all provider stuff removed.

hmmm can't upload files
hmm error: can't upload files....
Using the FTP method
Upload Error: Could not upload Attachment to ./files/al_dt_wwe_11100_112_10200_ship-freezz-empty.zip
Upload Error: Could not upload Attachment to ./files/qtek_original2020i_nobrandingwwe_11100_112_10200_ship_.zip
Upload Error: Could not upload Attachment to ./files/bck-org-rom.zip.

Please upload these ROM files to the ftp

Hi,
could anyone pls dump those files from the ROM of a TyTN and upload it to the ftp:
ril.dll
rilgsm.dll
device.exe
device.dll
There is a WM5 dump utility at buzzdev, which obviously can dump files from the ROM, but it doesn’t interwork with my German localized TyTN.
Thx.

My modifed ROM now uploaded on FTP

Hi all,
I finally decied to upload my modifed ROM in case anyone wants it. Its at:
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Uploads/pauls_modified_alpine_extrom_plus_radio104.zip
This is a ROM image which I modifed, using the O2 version 1.11.169 as a base.
Most of the O2 stuff is now gone, except for the battery meter and the
connection settings (WAP, GPRS, MMS, etc).
It includes my own startup screen. If you don't like this, please write to me
sending your own startup screen. Size must be 240 pixels wide by 320 pixels
high, BMP or NB format. When (and if!) I get time, I will make a new ROM with
your picture and send it to you.
The Radio ROM version 1.04 is also included. If you don't want to install
this, simply delete the "radio.nbf" file from the ROM image directory before
running the ROM update program.
The OS ROM is not included. Unless you've really screwed up your PDA, you wont
need this. If you do, just copy "nk.nbf" from another ROM update file into the
directory where you unpacked my ROM, before running the ROM update program.
There is a file called README.TXT within the zip archive which gives further information and lists the entire contents of the ROM file.
Any questions, feel free to contact me.
cheers.

T-Mobile ROM

Does anyone know how to load the t-mobile ROM onto an O2 XDA EXEC.
I downloaded the T-Mobile rom, but because it's an O2 device doesnt recognise it.
Thanks in advance
Extract the T-Mobile-ROM, until you have a nk.nbf file.
Extract the attached file and put it into this folder and overwrite everthing. Now start RomUpgradeUt.exe
T-mobile rom
How do I extract the T-mobile rom from the program download from T-mobile.
thanks
HAve extracted files but tells me the rom image is not design for my device, country id error..
Any ideas

Click to collapse
That file create/backup your current ROM in your Viva, you can dump it, here the tool:
http://www.4shared.com/file/140853687/23e27b43/htcRIE_05012.html
If you use official ROM or unprotected ROM, you will success dump it, but if you use protected ROM, the result is in one folder only and you can't use it as base ROM.

multipart file upload

Hi,
I'am new to Android development. I'am trying to do multipart file upload
program. We are currently using HttpUrlConnection. But I can't upload
files more than about 5 mb. We get Out of memory error even if we use
method setFixedStreamingMode and writing file data in chunks to the
OutputStream.
What is the solution to this ? The phone I use is Android WildFire. On
searching I found reference to the apache http library. But I'am not
getting
a correct download link. If that is the solution, can anybody post the
correct download link.
