XDA II in the US Forum Launch

Hi,
Since I started my personal site (http://bugjr.com/jon), many people have emailed me and PMed me here asking questions about my use of an i-mate in the US (i.e. will it work on us carriers, etc..). Its getting to the point that I feel a unified database of XDA II in US wouldn't be a bad idea, so I've started a small forum on my personal site specifically for questions regarding XDA II use in the US. Hopefully we can start answering these questions so people can feel a bit safer buying it for use here when its not even sold here.
Head on over and register if you want to claim your username on yet another (very small) forum!
And as always, I'll still be around here for answering as many Q's as I can.

Palringo IM users

Hi, just posting this as some people have joined a chatroom via Palringo called xda developers. Also i created one called htc universal. Feel free to join either. Just making new friends and discussing the site and devices. Hope to see you there. Sorry if this considered a double post as I posted in the general xda forum also. just wanted fellow Uni members to see if they dont check any other threads/forums.

So since I dont see any other threads on this here on xda... I'm guessing we wont be seeing Blackhole 4.0 released to everyone here on xda anymore?
Blue Super Froyo
He said on androiddoes that it will be released via ROM Manager to the public at 430pm today. The thread you mention was closed because at the time the ROM was released only to VIP subscribers of androiddoes
Ok, good to know, I hadnt seen that...
Blue Super Froyo
Will that thread be reopened once it is publicly available is what I want to know.
Have any of his other rom threads been shut down?
Not that this forum is moderated by committee or democracy but I am not a fan of locking that thread.

They locked it because you cam not advertise in xda nor tell people to join another forum and pay to download. He will open another thread when it gets released

I got my self a RIFF box and I just finished fixing a friend's HTC HD2, and I thought it was quite simple.
I've seen many users here posting about bricked HTC HD2.
If you're interested please PM me.

that's not something he can fix, sounds like you need a new mainboard.
yes you should put a add on ebay. i bricked my phone twice and i have to send it to texas twice so if you can do all phones it would be a good thing for some one in this country to unbrick phones. i no phone shops are not doing it, even small repair shops.

Separate S2 forum Category for I1900G and I9100

Hi All,
just wanted to ask if it is possible to open new forum for I9100G users?
the number of these users are increasing and all the I9100 ROMs don't work with I9100G!
I think it is good idea to open new forum to eliminate the confusion and to align the effort of building a good ROM for I9100G users.
what do you think?
What's the difference between the two?

This is the 3rd or 4th thread asking for this.
