I've been extensively researching and testing trying to root my tablet so that I'm able to unlock and install a custom rom, but none of the tricks I've noticed on the interwebs or here, are helpful. Any thoughts or ideas? This is for a galaxy tab 4 8.0 5.1.1 (SM-T330NU). Thanks!

Hi, new here on this forum my wife bought my daughter a tab 4, itsversiin is 4.4.2 i wanted to root it but when i check the forum theres no SM-T231 on the roms available. I have a note 3 under omega 25.1 LP. Can anyone help me wih my daughters tab and suggest a good rom. Alsonif a root my daughters tab can she use "whatsapp"? Thanking you guys in advance.

I need to root my Samsung Galaxy S5 Docomo (sc-04f) running android Marshmallow. Previously it was rooted on lollipop flashing cf root.
