Android restarting, green screen and white screen help!

Hello Xda!
I recently used this forum to install Android on my HTC HD2 UK Vodafone.
It all went pretty smoothly after i realised you needed to update the radio to get it working properly. It's worked pretty fine for nearly a week till this morning, i was updating apps then all of a sudden my phone restarted, so i tried to boot back into android and its basically been doing the same all day. It will either boot up into the loading screen and keeps repeating that with a green screen for a quick second between each loading screen and then ends up with a white screen.
I have tried pretty much everything i can think of, only thing i havn't tried is changing the android build as i did like the one i was using. I have formatted the SD card, re-downloaded the android build, changed zImages etc etc but still no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

[Q] [Need Help] NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.4-CM9-HWA V2.5 - Stuck on loading screen

I have been using Tytung's "NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.4-CM9-HWA V2.2" ROM for about 2 months now after updating it from GB 2.3.2. It had been working beautifully until about 2 nights ago when it decided it would refuse to download an app from the play store (Ulysse Speedometer Pro). To try and fix this problem I tried restarting my phone and for some reason it refused to get past the boot screen (The tedious animation that repeats for hours).
Thinking that I'd completely killed my phone, I decided to update to V2.5. After loading this on successfully (with MAGLDR and the internal storage script that extends the memory onto an ext-partition) I was over the moon, but after re-syncing my phone with google, redownloading all my apps and setting everything up; my phone decided to do exactly the same thing. Firstly, refuse to download apps (Facebook this time) and then on restart, wouldn't get past the boot screen.
I have tried Hard Resetting, Clearing the Dalvik Cache, Reformatting completely. Everything I can think of. If I hard reset it and reflash the ROM it works fine but will break when I restart it. Any suggestions are welcome.
Ps. I have a good knowledge of programming and developing, but am fairly new to the Android scene. Sorry for any ignorance in advance.
God damnit!
i have the same problem..
any solution?
thanks!!!
same problem :/

[Q]Omni Xoom Wingray boot problem

I recently rooted and installed OmniROM on my Xoom, but am having problems getting the tablet to boot. It makes it past the moto screen, but gets stuck on the blinking omni logo.
I followed the instructions in this thread, but I can't seem to get it to work. I have tried the entire process twice, and tried omitting gapps and even the update. Anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong?
If it means anything, TWRP is unable to wipe Dalvik, data or Internal Storage.
Thanks in advance!
Okay Scratch that. I did a reformat/reinstall and it finally booted. Now I just need to figure out that Text To Speech engine error.:good:
I have the same problem but with the Everest version
I have gone back to Gingerbread then back to EOS4
What did you do to reformat?
Did you successfully manage to wipe the dalvik cache and data etc?
OK in case anyone else had the problems I had then this repartitioning guide helped me. It was slightly different than the guide here, ie not just a wipe everything and expect it all to be ok kinda thing.
I was running my Xoom with the last EOS build and had an earlier version of TWRP. I started by upgrading in recovery to the NonBigPart TWRP and then followed the instructions from this link to repartition format etc and it worked for me.

I have the same problem. Can you explain what you mean by "a reformat/reinstall and it finally booted"? My Xoom is stuck on the Omni Android screen with the android blinking, but will not finish loading. My advanced wipe did not wipe all and I received a failed message. I'm guessing that is my issue, but I'm not sure what to do about it. Any help would be appreciated.

Okay. I found out what to do. Thanks though. Persistence works.
Seriously? Can't anyone explain what they did to fix the problem? You guys are pretty quick to ask for help, but don't even take the time to explain what you did to people who have the same problem.
If there's anyone with the same problem, the solution is to go to the wipe option and instead of using advanced wipe, just use format to delete all internal storage, then reboot and clear dalvik cache, etc. then flash omni, gapps and superSU (in that order), then reboot and wait a few minutes on the omni loading screen and its done.
I am struggling to get past the blinking omni logo, tried all ways to get this to boot, am i missing some thing

SlimKat wont boot anymore

Hi there, I got a really disgusting problem with my beloved Defy.
I'm using SlimKat 4.4.2 since several months (without problems) but today I got a strange behaviour.
I was using the timer of the clock app and after that all apps crashed.
I have used the timer often before...
When every app crashed I tried to reboot, but I'm stuck at SlimKat logo.
Entering reovery menu is no problem but it won't help. I tried to clear dalvic cache and normal cache
and even installed SlimKat and gapps again but it won't boot. Always stuck at SlimKat logo.
Big question: why? It was working always without problems and now that?
Please help. Thanks in advance!

Nexus 7 2012 Only Boots With Lollipop ??

Hi guys
I have a nexus 7 that was working perfectly with kitkat until one day it just hung on the boot logo and wouldn't go passed it no matter how many time i rebooted it.
I updated it to lollipop and it now boots up fine but its so slow it almost unusable.
I've tried putting kitkat back on it (and clearing the cache) but every time i do it goes back to hanging at the boot logo.
Any ideas what's going on?
Clearing cache is not sufficient when going back in time, you need to wipe your data, too.
