SM-G350 did not match sized XEF - Samsung Galaxy Core Plus Questions & Answers

my Galaxy Core always restarts by itself after some minutes of use
new SMS are not stored anymore
when I go in the recovery mode, here is what I get:
manual mode
Applied the CSC-code : XEF
did not match sized '/system/csc/common/system/CSC/others.xml' (No data available)
when I try to flash firmware (with odin (3.07) and G350XXUAPG1_G350OXAAPG1_G350XXUAPG1_HOME.tar.md5, Odin transfer the data but when the phone restarts after flashing, nothing changed...all my datas are still here and of course the auto restart loop problem is still here too.
Is the internal flash memory dead or can I fix it ?

[Q] i9505 Soft Brick Help - Stuck on Samsung logo (Rooted)

Okay first post on this website.
4.4.2, i9505
So, as i am a compete android n00b, i rooted my s4 with the KingoRoot tool as i thought it was an easy method, later i found out ChainFire made an easy auto root .
After i rooted with the kingo my device would randomly reboot, when i called someone, when i locked my phone and random stages throughout the day.
After some reading online i found the solution was to re-flash my phone to stock fireware. so i downloaded odin, drivers, fireware from sam and tried to re-flash it. however my phone failed after aboot.mbn. I then got the unexpected error saying the phone had to be plugged into kies etc.
I then used "philz_touch_6.07.9-i9300.tar.md5" to get rid of the error message which worked. however the phone still would radnomly restart.
Again i turnrf to the web to find a solution for the radnom booting and found this -
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2514703
telling me to delete everythinhg knox basically. after deleting everything outlined my phone is now stuck on the samsung logo.
i cannot access recovery mode! however can access download mode. but i have tried multiple times to re-flash to stock firmware to no avail...
Help, please
Recap
- Stuck on samsung logo
- Cant access recovery mode
- Can access download mode
- Deleted everything knox as specified
Thanks, Dylan
1. The error that give u ODIN is coz you are trying to flash an older firmware that the one you have installed in your device.
2. You have to flash a STOCK recovery. Flash this file via ODIN in PDA/AP (like in the pic 1 attached): HERE.
3. Turn off your device manually when the process finish. Boot it into STOCK RECOVERY by pressing and holding Volume Up, Home and Power.
4. Take a look the CSC (pic 2). "Applied the CSC-code: ............" <- This is your REAL CSC. Turn off your device again manually and boot it into DOWNLOAD MODE by pressing and holding Volume Down, Home and Power.
5. Go to Sammobile and download the LATEST firmware for your device with correct CSC and flash it via ODIN.
6. About KNOX and reboots: Delete all KNOX reminds less "Lib = libknox_encryption.so".
7. Good luck

Samsung Note 3-N9005 : Stuck in Samsung logo screen

Hi All
Please help!!!
Model Name: Samsung Note 3 -N9005
Bought in: Dubai
My phone battery went down and upon charging back i found the phone stuck on 'Samsung logo' screen after booting.
Steps taken already:
1. Using ODIN3 V3.11 ran CF Root .tar file for N9005 International Version
2. Flashed the ROM with the help of recent firmware (UAE Version) downloaded from Sam mobile
After flashing, it rebooted and Android started upgrading, then it started Apps and went back to 'Samsung logo screen' and stuck again. I have all my 2 years of data stored and haven't taken any backup as well. I'm fine with the phone dead but I need you guys help to recover the data.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Not going to recover data unless your PC can see the phone and its files .
If it can then try Recuva .
My PC doesn't recognize the phone. :crying:
Any other steps to bring back the device alive?
Flash stock rom via Odin .
Stuck on boot screen factory reset .
Flashing will lose some data .
If the phone is recognized by the computer in download mode, flash twrp, boot into twrp, mount data partition, see if you can copy files to the computer.

[Q][I9506] Stuck on GT-I9506 logo (no recovery, only Download Mode)

OK. First some info about the phone:
GT-I9506
S/N: RF8F20W841T
PDA: PL2 / PHONE: OJ2 / CSC: OK1 (NEE)
I replaced the screen few days ago and got the phone working at last! It was with STOCK 4.4.2. So i used OTA to update it to latest STOCK 5.0.1. After this I have rooted it with CF-AUTO-ROOT and it was fine for two days.
After two days wile charging with S CHARGER COVER (OEM) it just restarted. Was working ok but after few minutes hanged and rebooted again. Then the bootloop appeared. First screen with GT-I9506 logo and then blue flash and again.
CAN'T BOOT IN TO THE SYSTEM (no matter what I can't make it to boot properly)
CAN'T ENTER RECOVERY (it's showing that's booting in to the recovery but instead of recovery it just restart)
CAN ENTER DOWNLOAD MODE (no problem with entering DM)
What I have done so far:
- Kies recovery with phone model number and serial number (still bootloop).
- Odin flashing STOCK rom from SamFirm download (still bootloop) (single and 4 files flash).
- Re-partitioning (flashing PIT file).
- Reflashing bootloder (still nothing).
- Tryed CWM, TWRP and other Recovery, non of them boot up.
Using those files to flash:
AP_I9506XXSDPL2_CL6069869_QB11747892_REV03_user_low_ship.tar
BL_I9506XXSDPL2_CL6069869_QB11747892_REV03_user_low_ship.tar
CP_I9506XXUDOJ2_REV00_CL1318424.tar
CSC_NEE_I9506NEEDOK1_CL6069869_QB7017077_REV03_user_low_ship.tar
I would really appreciate help from someone more skilled then me.
Is it possible that I should flash 4.4.2 STOCK ROM instead of 5.0.1 to revive it? I came with 4.4.2 so maybe to make him work again I should start from flashing STOCK 4.4.2 NEE?
UPDATE:
STOCK FIRMWARE 4.3 and 4.4.2 does not help... I'm out of ideas...
After flashing bootloader it self I manage to get to the point when Green Droid appear and after 30% of progress it restarts and bootloop is back again...
Uninstall any old drivers and install new drivers.
Download the official file latest for your device from here
And try to reflash again, it should work or ultimately you will have to buy a new motherboard for your device....
You are likely to have encountered a hardware fault, assuming everything you tried were done correctly. The only fix is to buy a new phone, because of Samsung's stupid Knox policy D:

Find CSC code without turning on the device? Flashing S8 in boot loop with Home_CSC, no root

My S8 G950F got stuck in a boot loop after an update. At first it would try to install updates on boot, then reboot, start turning on with "optimising apps" message but start rebooting again once the app count is finished. Now it shows "no command" after trying to install update on boot and goes to recovery mode, or tries to switch on and optimise apps again if put on charge.
There is a following error line showing in recovery mode log:
#fail to open recovery_cause(No such file or directory)#(Photos of the top and the bottom part of the screen in recovery menu attached - apologies for the quality)
Before this update (I didn't press update myself, it randomly started when rebooting) I had not updated for a while and had little space left, but "lacking storage booting" or safe boot do not work either. Partition cache wipe did nothing too.
My goal is to backup or pull the files from the phone. It is unrooted so adb backup doesn't work (there is an "update from adb" option in recovery mode and some sideload commands work in that mode but it doesn't seem to be useful). I would like to try and flash it with Odin - from what I understood flashing with HOME_CSC instead of CSC should leave files intact.
However, I read that it is important for CSC to match my current one and since it won't boot I can't access software information and don't know where to look for it. I am in the UK and bought the phone unlocked so it would suggest that the CSC code is either BTU or XEU, but I bought it on Amazon so wonder if it could be different? Can the CSC be different from the region I bought it in/am currently in? The only information I see in recovery mode above the options is:
9/PPR1.180610.011/G950FXXS8DTC6
This last bit, as I understand, is PDA. Is there a way to find out what the CSC is?

Best tool to restore\flash freezing Android tablet's firmware

Hello; I'm trying to restore my friend's tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab E, SM-T560) to factory settings. I've tried everything from recovery mode but it comes up with error message and it doesn't work.
Can anyone recommend best tool (preferably free) to flash Android tablet's firmware?
Download Odin and download the firmware from Sammobile
Thank you, I'll give it a try
I installed Odin and tried to reset the tablet but it doesn't work. It's not recognised when connected to PC in both Recovery Mode and Download mode, but when it starts in normal mode it's recognised (but can't use it as I don't have a password).
In Download Mode it says:
"Odin Mode
Secure Download: Enable
MDM Download Block: 0"
Any advice would be very much appreciated
or is there a free software to remove lockscreen password? Something like 3UTool for Android?
