I have tried many ways offered via xda and google search
to show up this setting and none seems to work.
- 7 days method
- fix No OEM Unlock by removing SIM
- etc.
What can i do to unlock the bootloader to
- install TWRP
- install LineageOS
- install root etc.
Thanks for your support.

Have you already tried connecting to the internet and checking for an update?

I'm a few days beyond this step, and this vid seemed to help me on a Tab A SM-T295. Lots of stupid back and forth stuff but hey I got there in the end

I tried this steps several times no sucess with it. Also no software update available.
Now i am looking for a general software image from samsung (no Vodafone stuff) to install it with Odin.

It appears you have a tablet that is locked by the carrier. You may need to get Vodafone to unlock it.

ROOT S5 Mini Duos (Maybe working on other Samsung devices) with Z4root !

So, my friend got an S5 mini for chrismas and he wanted to root it so he tried everything. One morning he told me that he managed to root it with z4root but he restarted his phone and he lost the root. I didn't really believe him but I told him to continue trying and when it will be succesful send me a message. After some research a got to know that there's just one way to root to flash an older firmware with Odin, but as I read it can set Knox to 0x1 so I told him to stop trying. But this evening he sent me this picture:
{

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And told me that he was just playing with z4root and it worked again.
After some hours of unsuccesful tries, we found the working method, to make something with it. Install SuperSU from Play Store (or if it's installed, then just run it) and let it install su with the "Normal" method and also let it disable Knox. And it worked! Proof:
But unfortunately it sets the Phone Status to Custom:
("Eszköz állapota" = "Phone status" and "Egyedi" = "Custom")
I am not really familiar with Samsung phones, so could you please tell me if there's a way to set it back to Official? (Maybe with Wanam Xposed)
You need an original firmware
You have to use Odin and the original firmware that you can find on the web
you flash the original firmware and everything will be as your friend bought the phone except for the root that you will lose.

[Q] S4 Samsung 9505 Sim Locked to EE

Hi,
This is my first venture into phone mod-ing and I appear to have failed at the first hurdle
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-i9505 (EE UK sim locked), That was happily working on cyanogenmod 10 a few days ago but I bought a Sim unlock code and found it wouldn't take it.
So in my infinite wisdom I decided to reflash back to a stock Rom (I9505XXUGNI2_I9505EVRGNI2_EVR to be precise)
Now this appeared to be turning on and working except from the WiFi so again I researched a bit and found it was due to the modem version so I reflashed the above as a modem install. This is where things got tricky as now the phone is stuck in a loop on boot where it is trying to initialise the android apps and crashes out.

I have tried reflashing the rom PDA back still same issue. I also tried CF-Auto-Root-jflte-jfltexx-gti9505 same issue and I9505ZHUFNB3_MODEM.tar as a replacement modem.
I'm at the point I don't know what to try next I can still flash the phone but don't know what software to use and ultimately I need to get the device sim unlocked and with a good working rom.
CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE?

No idea. But it will get you started. It's probably a proces of trial and error.
Ok so I have a working phone again,
Next problem the sim unlock code I have from simDoctor advises that the 'EFS' files may be blocking the unlock code.....is this possible? if so is there any way to restore them? I don't have a backup of this :-/

OREO Update?

Hi everyone,
I've a situation, i've got a used Samsung S8 from the UK, and it's working so far perfectly with my carrier (Moroccan one), and i'm trying to update it (via settings) but it always says that there's no update yet, and i'm thinking about doing it manually with Odin, but i'm worried if i install the wrong ROM or something it might lock my phone and i can't use my sim anymore, so my questions are:
1/ How can i know if my phone is already fully unlocked.
2/If i install a rom manually should i go with the UK version or the moroccan one?
3/ in case i install the wrong rom with the good (PDA / CSC) but with a different region, what're the risks?
(Here bellow Firmware / Service provider screenshots)

Try connect your S8 to PC, and run Samsung Switch (on PC). It should say after some minutes, that there´s a newer version of firmware
Flashing stock rom with different build number and baseband version on S8
Hi,
Extreme newbie here, So I got the latest Oreo update on my S8 . since I want to go back to nougat for some development reason I decided to flash a stock nougat firmware on my device. My build number is G950FXXU1CRB7 but the version I downloaded is G950FOXM1AQK7 but the region is same . So I want to know if I flash this ROM on my s8 , will it cause any damages ? if so , what will be the possible damages that can cause ? Thanks in advance .

I'm trying to Flash Nougat 7.0 but i'm getting this error:
I have read tons of threads, none seems o solve the issue, one mentioned keeping new modem.bin from CP tar in the Nougat CP to avoid bootloader downgrade (which is not doable apparently) but I didnt manage to do it.
My Question is: is there any way to go to Nougat? I'm open for all options including custom ROM.

1. Do not send info about your IMEI number.
2. You can not down grade to nougat even with custom rom ( not I know of ) unfortunately

Flashing a custom ROM on a ZED AN817DK?

Hey fellas,
I've done some flashing on android before, but only on smartphones, instead of a car multimedia. My model is ZED AN817DK.
It looks like this:

"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

}
The launcher it came with is kinda disgusting, so I installed Nova Launcher instead.
Regardless, the system barely works, even on the stock settings / factory reset status.
Apps are crashing, changing the audio option in Waze takes a whole 2 minutes to even open up the menu for the option
(the app works but the input is unresponsive for 2 minutes until the menu appears).
I've tried contacting the shop I bought it in and they sent me a "firmware" update in the form of an APK file that will not launch in the device. I don't think I saw an option in it's administrator settings or anywhere else to update firmware via file (only check for firmware update - and it's always "up to date").
So I think I'll resort to flash a custom rom on this. I'm a bit worried since in the scenario where things go wrong I rely only on a pen hole style reset button which I don't fully trust to reset successfully if a custom rom is installed.
Is there a general flashing guide for these devices? How safe is it, as in what are the chances of completely bricking the device?
Are there general or common roms that work well on these devices?
