Yes u can
It behaves strange in slot A: PC don't see sdcard and reboot options doesn't work. In slot B everything is fine, love it . Do you know what's wrong?
UPD: Now it doesn't want wipe data after reflash on either slot Have to return to losrecovery

That's subjective. U may like twrp , ofx or other. Orangefox have much feature. So, try all other recovery n decide

I have never installed a recovery, I tried 1 year ago and ended up bricking the phone. I managed to unblock it without TEST POINTS. Something quite rare.

Hello!
I have a problem, recovery wouldnt decrypt and mount data so i backed all my things up and do format /data. It was 3 and a half hours ago and still on formating data screen. There is no logs for formating data? It says nothing not even how far it is. Recovery is not frozen, ive got some notifications of screenshot that i made. Should i leave it be or is something broken? Xiaomi mi 8 lite, global rom unlocked bootloader android 10 miui 11.

After input password, It just said that it can't decrypt data. So when you open files they are encrypted

i think it depends on the gapps, i installed stock gapps(niks) and there was google setup.

Like, in the app magisk manager it says ''not available'' and in orangefox's magisk manager tab it shows my installed modules.

yeah u can but flash the zip.
then reboot to recovery to access it
tho it automatically reboots to recovery after you flashed orangefox.

I installed this version and finally I am able to decrypt my phone in recovery mode. But unfortunately I am no longer able to install updates.
All i get is this: "Zip Treble Compatibility Error !"
I'm using the official 16.0 LineageOS from micro-G. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks.

It's a problem of the rom, not from the recovery.
I'm on CrDroid, and the last update works.

Perhaps, yes. Or you can back to your old recovery version. Or change your version of Lineage (18.1 exists, made by same maintener of the orangeFox recovery)
For the firts updates on CrDroid, OTA don't works. and since last version it's works.
You have the last version of OrangeFox ? (R11.5_1 27/02/2022).
Yes, i have the latest version of Orangefox.
I don't have the time right now to upgrade Lineage and get all my apps, micro-g and all that stuff reconfigured. Most of the time I do that during christmas holidays when I am bored

I tested it and works well. You can see file download count on afh
any suggested Google APPS Cause some Rom have less space on the root partition and GApps doesn't install properly, If you have any suggested Package Pls give a link it will be a big help... Thanks in advance

Use litegapps lite version (recovery zip or magisk module) or use this magisk addons or repartition system partition.
I tried re-partitioning and installing on my MI4 device, it worked and I was able to setup my phone with apps from playstore. But when I tried to manually change brightness it suddenly restarted and it happened twice. Then I could not boot to my system again. Have a look at my situation in this thread:

I don't think it's custom rom's fault but I guess it has something to do with battery, storage or gapps. If you can help please have a look at my thread.
