Do you mean how to get it enabled again?
Can you specify what all you have done to your device so far?

Hello, thanks for the reply.
LineageOS I wanted to install on the device according to the instructions (https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/gts4lv/), unfortunately did not work, in the LOS forum I also asked for help, but none get useful help there. I enabled the developer option and unlocked OEM and enabled USB debugging. Then something went wrong with Odin
But now OEM is still enabled and the box is grayed out so I can't disable OEM again. But I want to disable OEM again, is there a tutorial?
Greetings Varusch

You would need to re-lock the bootloader. If the bootloader is unlocked, OEM Unlocking remains grayed out with the message "Bootloader is already unlocked"
However, if you want to install a custom ROM, you need to leave your bootloader unlocked.
What problem did you have with LineageOS? If you have TWRP installed on your device, it should be easy to flash a GSI.

GSI = Generic SYSTEM Image. You would flash it to /system and use it with the stock kernel.

Where do I find OEM Unlock switch?

So i want to flash my S8 to a new firmware from G950X to G950F/D and there are no options for oem unlock. The OEM Unlock is on but when i install the TWRP, it keeps on blocking it and I cannot start flashing. Is there another way or does someone know this? Im using the Exynos version of demo unit. Thanks!

Have you got developer options enabled? If not you have to go to settings-about-software info- and then keep on tapping building number until it says developer options, now go into settings again and you have an option now called developer options right at the bottom, go into that and you can turn oem off

I'm not 100% sure then, demo units have no radio modem, what was you planning to do with the phone?
oem unlock is boot loader unlocking, if you try to root or install twrp that breaks knox without enable oem unlock the phone will be completely bricked. If you have successfully enable oem unlock and able to boot in twrp , you need to wipe data and internal storage to remove encryption, so twrp will be able to read data and flash. but if you stay on stock rom you need to flash others files before rebooting but for that refer to tutorials

My plan is to get the unit to G950F/D instead of G950X to get the full function of the phone such as security, full charge, etc. But not the GSM ofcourse because all demo units dont have this feature

From what I've read you can flash a firmware via Odin but there things thst will be broken. There's actually some tutorials on YouTube on how to get a normal firmware onto a demo unit.

Fastboot oem unlock waiting for any device

Hello:
I am trying to follow the instructions to unlock the bootloader on my Sprint G900P Galaxy S5.
I installed the ADB SDK, the Samsung USB driver, turned on USB debugging on my phone, and connected it to my computer.
I typed adb reboot bootloader and the phone rebooted into a screen to download software to it.
Next, I typed fastboot oem unlock and I get a message on the screen < waiting for any device >
and it does nothing.
This is strange because obviously the computer was able to send the adb command to the phone so there is communication.
Why would is stop at the fastboot step?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Neil
Ummm dude your booloader is already unlocked since it's from Sprint. You just go into your Dev options and toggle on OEM UNLOCK and your all set

I went to Google Play Store and installed the Root Checker by Clivin Inc.
When I ran the app, it says: Your device is not rooted
I am not sure where to go from here.

Hi,
Just wondering what are you going to achieve ...
1. Don't bother with any "oem unlock" options as there is no any in your phone model. Your bootloader is uncloked by default and that's it.
2. Rooting is different story - if you didn't root your device yet then the root checkers will tell you exactly this -> so you need to root your phone to get different reply

I did not realize that. Thanks for the info.
I used the SkipSoft Unified Toolkit to root the device.
Thanks,
Neil

Relock bootloader without Unlock code

The S8 (G950F) I own came with unlocked bootloader, is there a way to relock it with out the unlock code?

Why would you want to relock it? But if you wish to do so, you'll need to firstly enable developer options, once done go to settings then developer options, then you will see oem unlock, if that switch is to the right then boot loader is unlocked, to relock bootloader just press and move so that switch is to th3 left

You're mixing up two different things, oem unlock that unlocks the bootloader is disabled on the g950f, you have to enabled it yourself. The unlock code is for carrier locks, totally different thing. You might as well root it now and use magisk to hide root from netflix.

That happens when you have root, nothing to with unlocked bootloader

That's the thing, I wasn't rooted but I had unlocked bootloader and it wasn't working.
Now that I've rooted it using Magisk, the device is "certified"

Huawei Nova 3i.. OEM Unlock and Root?

I'm quite interested in buying this device (Nova 3i), but it's very important to me that i can root it.
I've noticed that the option "OEM Unlock" is not greyed out, and can be easily enabled, at least in the devices that are sold in my country.
So the question is:
Is it enought to enable "OEM Unlock" in "Developer Options" from the phone settings to unlock the bootloader and I can simply install TWRP afterthat?
Or do I still have to unlock it using unlock key from Huawei Website (which is unavailable)?
And if not, is there any other way to root it? Has anyone had luck in rooting it (e.g. Kingroot, etc)?
Thanks in advance.
