I need help Factory Reset or firmware download or downgrade to w58 Microwear - Other SmartWatches

Hello friend, my name is Arthur and I'm from Brazil. As I was received by you, you noticed that I am the newest member of this forum, but I apologize for not having a good command of the English language. But I need to insist because I need urgent help!!! My story is long, but I'll try to make it short: "I bought a smartwatch model W58 8 Note Pro Microwear - which after installing one of the facewatches, presented a very strange error. Whenever I pressed the crown button to access the hive menu, the images showed a #bug and the smartwatch restarted". The application officially used by Microwear smartwatches is the "M.Active Pro" app - which does not have great features (mainly on the ios iphone) such as: "factory reset". Since then, my relentless search for an app that could link the device and that had functions such as: device reset, factory reset, OTA update, upgrade and downgrade began... Even with little knowledge, I searched for several days non-stop for a website that would provide the firmware that was compatible with my smartwatch, but I was unsuccessful. I contacted all the means I could find from the company Microwear and so far I have not received any answers. In the midst of despair and also unpreparedness, I used an app called "BX0X_OTA" that caused me great harm. Without having the slightest idea of mastering the app's language, I ended up "updating" by upgrading the smartwatch from some "unknown package" that already came with the app. That's when my despair increased: at this moment, the smartwatch turned off, it's vibrating non-stop, you can tell by the vibration that it tries to start but can't. My smartdevice simply won't vibrate and I've done all the procedures of "holding the buttons for 15sec to 20sec, I put it on the charger, but even so it doesn't light up and doesn't stop vibrating. some ble bluetooth scanner apps are still able to locate the device and even connect... but once again I need an app that can do a hard reset/factory reset/a firmware update or a firmware package download original to reinstall.

Hello all,
In my last buy, the android auto began to crash. Google play not working with normality.
My seller, sendme update 索菲亚_6.0_wifi(20170522).zip
All time, the update not finished operation, the raison is unkown for me.
Use to flash two metodes:
1) From Android, insterted pendrive and It says: Firmware upgrade found. Check to wipe device before install.
2) From recovery mode: Same operation.
The device continuus with the same problem, I looked in the xda-developers and I saw one firmware with android 5.1.1. Also read this firmware working little more quick.
I decided downgraded from 6.0 to 5.1.1 for try.
The firmware is completed, I could read.
But, cannot load never more. Only detect chip intel sofia FlashTool E2.
I can loader again Recovery_6.fls and Boot_6.fls. But not work, when the device tries to start android, he makes to reset.

Motorola Moto G6 plus bootloop

Hi Everyone !
I've got a little reboot loop problem. I have bought a Moto G6 plus on Amazon past sunday. The fifth hour after I got it, it begin to bootloop. the only way to go throught, is by wipe/factory reset the phone. Neither the safe mode or anything else would work. 8 hours after the factory reset, the bootloop has happen again so I had return the phone, saying to myself: "I got the bad one in the batch". I receive a new one yesterday and unfortunately, it does the same thing . Pop on the Moto start screen, then "Hello moto", then the Lenovo label appear, finally I see my lock screen and all of this start again.
Now I'm think maybe its the data restore of my apps, because I restore from my "transit" phone, an old Samsung galaxy core on Android 4.4. Or its a software bug and may I can fix it ?
I asking your help today because, as a IT technician, I know that everything with a CPU can be diagnostise. I can easily go check the log but I can't understand the meaning of all I will read. For exemple, I got into it the last time the phone bootloop and I find something like this : Error 'slot' found in the device tree. I did some reasearch but found nothing.
Please, help me find out what is the problem so I will know exactly what to do with my phone. I pretty love Motorola and this model is awesome when it work.
Thank you,
Cédric.
p.s.: I speak french first, so I'm sorry for my mistake's writing.

P9 Bricked?

Hi to all
My name is Yarli and this is my first post on XDA-Dev.
I have a Huawei P9 Lite and I have a problem.
I did root on it following one of the 1.000 manuals on XDA. I unlock it contacting Huawei, and I downloaded like 4 or 5 different roms to test.
No one worked. Never. So even having a rooted cellphone I never could use it. I did the same with a Nexus 5 before, and I'm still doing it, actually. I like testing roms. But with this P9 Lite, no ways.
This was a second cell phone to play with so once I saw was impossible to put a damn Rom on it, I surrender. And kept it on a draw.
A few months ago I read Huawei was blocking the root access on its cell phones so I did the rollback and I installed a version of emui restored and downloaded from Huawei. Everything looks like working so I kept the cellphone clean: no google account, no apps, nothing. It looked ok. Youtube working fine, camera too, everything fine.
Last week. My girlfriend broke her cellphone. "Don't worry, I have one for you". So... I didn't. As soon as you try to set your google account the Play Store freezes and went back to the "insert account" screen.
I have a Huawei Attention Center close to my place. I took my cellphone there to check it like "Sorry, I put your software, officially downloaded from your website and my phone is no working right". And they say "You have to change the mother-****ing-board. 159€". For this price ¡I would buy another brand new cellphone!
So, the question:
What can I do?
Thanks for your collaboration.
Some info
Emui 4.1.1
VNS-L31C900B170
ANDROID 6.0
I dont know if this will help but, when I enter pressing the three buttons, on the emui recovery it says "Downloading package", bla bla bla,... and then "Software install failed" The update package does not exist, please dowload the package again" and I only can Reboot system now.
What the hell to do?
Thanks

Hi Yarli,
i was wandering why you rollbacked, you could have chosen to do only unroot and
flash the stock recovery to keep having updates.
Maybe you misunderstood what happened on Huawei world.
They do not closed access to root, they closed access to website used
to request bootloader code.
During the rollback something is gone wrong and you have that firmware ( C900 ).
Maybe with a correct firmware you could solve that stucked situation.
Three buttons AKA dload is used to perform a forced update,
so you have to put a DLOAD folder in SD card with inside update.app
file extracted from FullOTA firmware.
Yep this could solve, i said could.
So if you choose to do what i'm posting here you assume all responsability
about you are doing with your device... it may simply not work or make things worse.
If you don't agree just ignore this post, if you want to try then answer my questions:
Have you already tried a factory reset ?
Wich region do you live ?
First of all: Thank you so much for your answer.
It seems I didn't get it right. At the end I wasn't using this p9 so much so I wasn't so deep on it. Now I see.
Let's see:
I have already try the factory reset, and the result is the same. The phone works, even if I put the sim card I can call and receive calls. But when I try to add my gmail account I can't. The systems gets out all the time. So no calendar, no mail, no fotos, no nothing related to my google account.
My region is Spain.
Again, thanks for your help

Original P9 lite: it acts crazy and restarts, then the battery is drained

Hello,
Few months ago, when the battery was low (just below 20%) my P9 lite started acting crazy: opening/closing apps, pressing buttons, taking pictures, ... Everything so fast that the battery drained in few seconds. After searching the internet I tried changing the battery with an original one. It didn't change anything.
Recently the situation worsened: it seems that the phone fails to detect the real power of the battery. So even if the battery is 50-60%, it can happen that it starts acting crazy or, more recently, restarting all of a sudden. Then it still works, but after a bit it restarts again and the battery now is drained.
Both before changing the battery and now the problem can be easily solved by charging the phone. Connecting the cable stops immediately the phone both acting crazy and restarting.
Anyway, as you can guess, this is quite a problem if you are outside, even with a powerbank. But these restarst are becoming very frustrating even at home.
Beside this, the phone does work well so I think it's a pity to throw it off...
I've tried a hard reset just few days ago but it didn't change anything.
Is it possible to do anything to solve the problem?
Thank you

Yes, the behaviour is more similar to a malware.
It could be an app you recently installed....
A good change is to re-install your same firmware
or possibly to update it to the latest...
You can use Firmware Finder app to do this,
but beware what you do, a wrong firmware
may brick your device.
It's your choice doing this...
Good luck dude.
Cheers

Hello! Excuse me I'm not sure I've understood correclty. I've searched for the Firmware Finder in Play Store, but looking at the comments it seems not working in my country. I've tried to search for the original firmwares in google but it appears I can find only modded versions which requires flashing and other stuff I don't know how to do. I couldn't find a guide for real beginners, is there?
Anyway I've recently done the hard reset on my phone so it shouldn't be an app, is it? Is it possible the firmware is damaged even if I never unlocked or done anything special on my phone?
Thank you!

Ok dude, you don't have to worry.
There are many guides on the web in various forum,
especially here on XDA. What is your current firmware ?
I mean the whole firmware ex. VNS-L21C432B504 / VNS-L23C605B393;
You can try doing this in two ways:
1 - using FF and pointing to your current firmware or updating it to latest if possible;
2 - using HuRUpdater.
This method let you flash whatever version of firmwares,
but you need to unlock the bootloader and use a custom recovery (TWRP)(it cost 4€).
Using FF will not cost money, you should try it first.
Cheers

Hello! Thank you for your help.
I tried to follow your instructions but something went wrong.
My firmware is VNS-L31C432B417, so in FF I've searched VNS-L31C432:
I then pushed the button with the "play" symbol and FF searched for all the six tasks, but it couldn't find any firmware
Did I do something wrong?
Strange fact: searching in the internet for VNS-L31C432B417 I found that, since already 3 months, it is available in my country a new firmware VNS-L31C432B418, but, if I search for updates in the settings section of the phone, this update doesn't show up, saying that my phone is already up to date. Is it normal?

Dude you have the same device i owned.
Don't worry about FF, you simply searched the wrong place...
Tap "Common Base" TAB, write VNS-L31C432 and press on the lens to search ...
You'll see all the firmwares for your variant...
Beware dude, you have B417, it's the latest (for single sim)
and cannot update to B418 (it's for dual sim).
You have to point to your current same firmware.
First thing, delete all the safties (fingerprints/pin/pattern)
and do a backup of all your stuff, just to stay safe...
Make sure you have access to the network and use "Firmware Finder app",
choose B417 FULLOTA-MF, follow the inbuild guide (register the IMEI,
use dns/vpn method). Then go into settings/updates and tap "search for updates"
you should find your update. Tap to download it and when it reaches 5%,
tap pause and disconnect the vpn.
Reactivate the download and complete the reinstallation of the firmware.
Quite similar to THIS GUIDE, just change the firmware with yours...
Edit: I replaced the image because it could not be viewed.
Edit2: re-replaced again the image, still it couldn't be viewed...

Hello!
Sorry I took some time to reply, recently I had to move a lot so I didn't want to take the risk to mess things with the smartphone. Anyway, yesterday I did the reinstallation of the firmware, choosing the VNS-L31C432B417 FullOTA-MF dated 2020.01.13 (I didn't get the difference with the other one dated 2020.01.08, so I choose the most recent).
I followed your guide (thanks!), the only thing I changed is the method: the dns method didn't work so I used the e-recovery mode and it seems that all went well... Except nothing changed. Now, even when the battery is full charged, if I listen to a podcast via speakerphone after a while the phone restarts suddenly.
Is it possible there is something wrong in the hardware?
It's so frustrating because aside from that it works flawless.
Thank you for your help!

Ah yes, the e-recovery mode ... :cyclops:
I had assumed you had already tried it, hence the suggestion for using FF ...
So if after re-installing the software nothing has substantially changed,
then it would be something related to the hardware, honestly I can't tell you.
You could try to bring it to this service point or to a trusted person,
maybe a friend who deals with mobile devices.
Or maybe the time has simply come to replace it with another,
anyway I wish you good luck ...
Cheers

XT1572 updating from nothing

Hi.
This might be a very noobish question, but these cannot be avoided from a noob who pretty much avoided smartphones until now:
Can someone explain to me how I get a never used EU clark up to date?
Apperently the former owner had it sitting in a drawer since *ever*, so it is still on Android 5.1.1 (systemversion reports 23.21.18.clarkreteu though, which sound like a resonable recent date to me). The phone claims to have the newest software installed and support was no help either, but apparently there were once OTA updates at least to 7.0 and even that is barely sufficient for many apps nowadays. (Not that I intend to use many apps, as I dislike the Google play store)
I searched several days in vain for some form of guide, but every single one i found expected at least an 6.0.x bootloader and most unofficial=new OS even start out with Nougat installed. But how can I get there? (Or, if it is resonable easy, directly to some current LineageOS or whatever you recommend.)

The easiest way to update stock is LMSA.
Rescue and Smart Assistant (LMSA)(Motorola/Lenovo Only)

Hi & both thanks for your quick reply & sorry for not coming back earlier. But LMSA proved very troublesome, promting me to delay my experiments until easter. Results after a quite some additional hours (restart, reboots, reinstalls, various methods of access, trying each and every menu on phone and in LMSA,...) however remains zero.
No matter how I do access the rescue option, after selecting my phone (auto detect only works in "my device"), come only the "wait for matching software" prompt and than, a grey, semi transparend overlay. On the first dozen or so tries I thought LMSA crashed completely (causing me to run extensive tests of my PC before retries...), because it remains visible but does not response to any clicks. Now I noticed that I can still access the window itself via task manager, only mouse clicks are captured by said overlay. I guess some rescue process is supposed to start, but it simply does not for me.

With LMSA try starting the phone in bootloader ap fastboot mode, then connect to PC, then start LMSA, select rescue.
Looks like this is the last update for Clark RetEU
lolinet mirrors - firmware, software, iso etc.
lolinet mirrors - powered by h5ai
mirrors-obs-2.lolinet.com
RETEU/XT1572_CLARK_RETEU_7.0_NPHS25.200-15-8_cid7_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
The next best option is RSD Lite, but this only works with older Window 7 or Xp PCs
If you don't have an older PC use fastboot.exe or mfastboot.exe
download the firmware from the lolinet link, unzip the file, find flashfile.xml, open with a text editor like notepad, copy text and paste at online flashfile convertor, to get flash commands.

Older PCs are speciality of mine.
RDS worked perfectly and I am on 7.0 now. Thanks a lot.
