Use a old phone as IR-remote - Repurposing Old Devices

A few old Android phones have an infrared transmitter to send information over them. Why not use this feature as a remote control for a TV or similar?
What you need:
A phone with a built in IR transmitter (e.g. a Samsung Galaxy S5) and Android 4.1 or higher
The application "irplus". You can find it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.binarymode.android.irplus
When you have the application installed on your phone you have to add your TV, reciver etc. You can do this when you press the 3 strokes on the top left on your screen and then go to "add" and then to "codefinder".
You get the best results when you type in the search only the vendor of your device and try the listed codes out on what your device respond. If you have found the right code for your device you can add it with the plus on the right side.
Now you can use your phone as TV Remote!
If you want, you can add the Buttons as widgets for your launcher!

Many of you have already used or seen the Iphone or the Pre's universal search function. I thought that it would be a great idea to somehow implement that into our Phones.
Currently I can slide out my Verizon Touch Pro, start typing "Ama.." and get any Amanda, etc that I have in my phone's contact list.
I'm not thinking this has to be an extensive application, but much like the other phones, it takes advantage of what already is in place on the phone.
It could essentially be:
1) Any / all applications with the same name / letters
2) Contacts
3) "Nothing found? Search Google for: "......."
I have no skills at this sort of thing, just wondered if it were possible to replace WinMo's current universal search and replace it with a slightly far more reaching one.

[Q] Multimedia Dock not appearing after plugging headphones

When I had my note 2;
It would add an extra page as if I had an accessories dock, but it automatically activated when I plugged in my headphones, Made it convenient for my music. Now that I have a note three I cannot figure out why its not doing it there. I have tore a part the settings to figure it out and I can't figure it out. What I am talking about is what I have expressed in the picture below, but it would do that for headphones. My note three does not do that, and I would like to fix that, How do I do that?

Perhaps Tasker is a solution here? Provided that dock still exists, I'm sure you could set a Tasker profile to enable it upon headset plugin.

What is that?

What is this sign like a hand ?

Air Browse?
In your settings, under Help, there is an entry for "Icon Glossary" that SHOULD tell you what each icon is for.
I searched it over all help and didn't found it

have you enable it via 3rd party launcher like nova ?
On the s4, that's air browse icon, but it isn't available by default in note 4
air gesture.
settings - air gesture on the fake phone.
the fake note 4 clones have it like mine (910f fake). the real ones dont (like my other 910u).

MAFAM X01 1.5 Inch IPS Bluetooth SmartWatch

Dear Developer,
I need your help.
I have recently bought an Android smart watch (Details attached in Image) but having some troubles as marked below. It is only allowing to make/receive calls when the SIM is inserted whereas a basic smart watch is offering the same feature.
Though the watch material is ALLOY and it is having good weight, the band is of Silica GEL material. I love to wear this but only if the features are working otherwise useless.
Bluetooth connects but unable to find watch as blue tooth device under phone. Need to use watch as bluetooth device.
No Google Apps are found including Playstore. Unable to download the softwares to my watch.
Will appreciate if you can help me in this regard.

How can I Install Good Lock on the Galaxy Tab A7?

Is there a way for me to install Good Lock on a tab a7? I searched for it and it wasn't showing up. I shared the link via my Samsung phone and I simply get this error message:

Same with me. If u found any ways please give me a ping
I was wondering this, and from my experience, I have had to conclude that it's sort of built-in. I can find a few Good Lock Labs bits & bobs in Samsung's app store on my A7 T-500. The one that was most useful to me was the Nice Catch app. IT puts the kibosh on notifications that get out of hand. Like making it ping only once or twice if you 10 IMs in instant succession. (I've also had Play send me ping after ping to the point of obnoxiousness. But that seems to have dealt with it.
