I'm going to buy a FDM printer in the next month during the black Friday sales (hopefully there will be great pricing) and I'm looking at buying the Prusa mini+ but then again I also like the look of the Flsun SR.
What are your recommendations on the best first printer for someone that wants an easy process and can print well straight from the box?
I'm looking to just print the with PLA (kids toys, replacement parts for things around the house) but I do want to be able to print in carbon/metal so I can design parts for my motorcycle and car. I imagine I'll need a direct drive and an all metal hotend so I'm thinking they would be upgraded in the near future.
What are your opinions?

My 2 weeks old Kaiser slipped from my hands and the LCD broke !! I am looking for a good repair shop in Belgium or any links from which I can procure a new LCD screen real fast! Any pointers would be helpful. Also, does anyone know if the LCD screen is covered under the HTC warranty ??
whipout ur htc carepack, call the number nearest you. They probably would fix it for you for a small charge. Keep in mind, repair shops aren't htc specialists.... So my suggestion is that you contact htc and see what they can do for you.

my girlfriend just got her LCD cracked from a roller coaster (stupid safety bars). probably going to take a few weeks for us to get a replacement screen since they don't even sell the kaiser here.
she keeps subconsciously trying to touch the screen on her interm dumb-phone... and sighs.
do it yourself! buy a replacement screen on ebay, and look for replacement instructions on this forum
how easy does the screen crack if you drop it? just for arguments sake shouldn't the phones be able to sustain a reasonable drop? After all you are constantly using it in your hands so it is likely you would drop it at least once.

Well, I've taken up a hobby of repairing all makes/models of phone that I can get parts for, so I'd be exceptionally grateful if you could provide some info as to WHERE and HOW you get them so cheaply....

there are a few shopping mall in china that sell only spare part for pc, mobile phones and all micro electronics part.
and because most of the oem and third party parts are all made in china, its always cheaper to buy from there, I travel to china a lot, and in search for some parts, I did come across some tytn II parts.
but then you need to live in china or hong kong just like me, so you can go back and forward.
I can also let you know that only micro electronics parts and mobile spare parts are cheaper in china, PC stuff are cheaper in hong kong, as well as back up service.
you need to go to wha qheung ( my own english translation) street along the china railway system, most of them do bulk buy and send overseas, but its best to be there in person, as you cannot trust them sometime.
next time i'll get the address when I go over again, but i'll don't think you will travel there.

OK so after giving this a lot of thought, I decided to go out and purchase an iphone. It will better suit my needs down the road, and when the 3g model comes out I'll get that. So with that said I'm looking to sell my advantage. It has the AP4 rom and radio 1.57 installed on it. It will come with a 4gig mem card 2 soft pouch style cases and a Think Outside bluetooth mouse. The original case I no longer have(I used it for something else). I have all the original packing it came with. I'm looking for $625.00 for everything which includes shipping. I will only ship in the US and will accept payment through paypal. Anyone thats interested can PM me and I'll send some Pics. I'll also add some pics here once my camera is charged. This was a spur of the moment decision so hopefully I wont regret it.
On a side note I also have a sling box pro which I will no longer need either. I'll let it go for $145 which will also include shipping.

Read the instructs for the camera regarding focus!
I have played around quite a bit with mine and this is what I do:
1-depress camera button on upper right side slightly,it will focus
2-push the joystick(straight in) upper left front and it will take pics.
You can go to settings menu to adjust sharpness also.
Give it a try.

Guys this picture shows the only blemish on the unit(if you can see it). It's a small mark about an 1/8 of an inch on the corner just above the joy stick other than that the unit is mint...

Which case are you after? My VFUk TouchPro came with a leather tube that does not have a belt clip... I bought a black case HTC case from www.expansys.co.uk which uses velcro to seal - not ideal but am using for now - I have a couple of TyTii cases which use a magnet to keep them closed... only problem is they are a little on the large side... then again so am I + I like my ladies a little on the large side... Just my luck to end up living with a skinny, fridget, short arsed, *****...

Any which way, itll be a month or so before cases specifically for the tab start trickling into my homeland Russia.
So, has anyone got a generic case yet? The tech market where i bought mine said there were compatible cases out there from ereaders and the like.
Im not sure i can cope with ordering a case from abroad...
I know Noreve is extremely popular in Russia.
They got some extremely nice case for Tab with built-in stand and other tricks.
Amazon both .com and .co.uk are full with cases for tab.
Even e-bay got some.

To be honest I really don't want my gadget case to hold my passport and business cards.I could use something

The case from my old Archos 704 is a near perfect fit. The Tab is quite a bit thinner, but otherwise it's perfect.
Could you take a picture please? This would be much cheaper than the case noreve... preferably of the place where it seems loose.

Really don't know if it has it's own name. It's the case from an Archos 704, that was part of the standard archos retail package. I have no idea if they're available alone, but if not, there are quite often people selling broken archos 704's or 705's on ebay, maybe get in touch with one of them.
I'm trying to find a case online for my A500 in Canada but struggling.
I want a folio style with the 'clips' holding the tablet and preferably a magnetic cover. I think the ACase is the closest but every time I find one on Amazon it says it wont ship to Canada !?
Does anyone know of a reputable online store (preferably inexpensive) that I could find one.
I prefer not to use Ebay etc.

I'm in the same boat as you. For a while I was using the Acer case but it was pretty sucky so I returned it. In the meantime until I find something good here in Canada as well I have my tab, bluetooth keyboard and stand all in a netbooks sleeve. It does the job for now. If I ever find something I'll let you know!
I bought the Case Crown case when it was $1.00 and paid $10.00 all in including shipping. I would watch these guys to see if they have other cases as well.

It took about 3 weeks to arrive but well worth the wait. The only thing is the one on the link is not a clip style. All of the ports are accessible through it though.
