MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!

[RECOVERY][JALEBI][UNOFFICIAL] TWRP Recovery 3.0.2-0 For Yunique

Team Win Recovery Project 3.x, or Twrp for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. Its a fully touch driven user interface no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.
Introduction :
TWRP is an open source, community project. TWRP development is done by roughly 4 people at this point. We also have a large support community with many people who are willing to answer questions and help people with their devices either through our IRC channel or on forums like xda-developers.
Team Win was originally formed to work on porting WiMAX to CM7 for the HTC EVO 4G. After our work on the EVO 4G we wanted to work on a project that would work on more devices than just the EVO 4G and we settled on working on a recovery. Today TWRP is the leading custom recovery for Android phones.
A custom recovery is used for installing custom software on your device. This custom software can include smaller modifications like rooting your device or even replacing the firmware of the device with a completely custom “ROM” like OmniROM
You can find the source code for TWRP at github.com/omnirom/android_bootable_recovery/
Source : TWRP.me
Flashing Method :
If you are already on existing TWRP just choose Install image -> navigate to downloaded recovery and choose it and install
Via Fastboot Mode :
fastboot flash recovery TWRP_3.0.2-0_Jalebi.img
Note : Make sure you are on unlocked bootloader if you are flashing custom recovery for first time

Firstly, thanks loads for producing these ROMs it is much appreciated. :good:
I am unfortunately having issues getting both this and your CypherOS rom to work.
After full wipes of everything both roms get stuck on the "Wileyfox powered by Android" boot screen.
I get the same result sideloading via adb and from the internal memory.
I have tried TWRP 3.0.2.0 and older versions, I have also tried old and new Cyanogen recoveries.
I have successfully got the Slimrom 7.1 rom working and the LineageOS 14.1 rom which also works but with many random reboots.
Any thoughts on what I might be missing when flashing your ROMs?
Again many thanks for the work.
Any chance of grabbing your recipe for building this from source? Own personal use only. I have the VertexOS repo cloned. A copy of your roomservice and local manifest would help enormously.
This seems much more stable than Lineage at the moment. Please note you *MUST* use TWRP 3.0.2-1, the non-test version, to install Vertex and a fastboot -w also can't hurt.
Cannot inatall gapps (Wrong Architecture)
Hi,
I installed VortexOS 1.9... but when I tried to install ARM64 7.1 pico Open gapps package then following Error occurs:
"ERROR 64: Wrong architecture to set-up Open GApps pre-bundled busybox"
I use TWRT 3.0.3-0 (kipper)
Any ideas what I made wrong?
best regards, Chuck
Vertex appears to be built as ARMv7, which means 32 bit. Try the 32 bit pico.
I installed fine with the nano apps and 64 bit, no issues

Thanks again,
Unfortunately I could not get that recovery to work via TWRP 3.0.2.1 or fastboot.
I can flash it but not boot to recovery.
If booting the image directly I get
Code:
FAILED (remote: dtb not found)
I will try building it myself when I get some time.

Your favorite TWRP for a Mi A1 under Oreo 8.1.0 updated on the last OTA of July 2o18?

I'm really sorry... First post: a question…
But in my defense I already made some donations to members here and I am an old lady cats !
Well, I just acquired a Xiaomi Mi A1 and I tried to install a recovery.
I first tried with the official TWRP « twrp-3.2.2-0-tissot.img » from https://eu.dl.twrp.me/tissot but he never want to boot under the command:
Code:
fastboot boot twrp-3.2.2-0-tissot.img
Normal. I realized after that he could not boot because it seems compiled for Nougat 7.1.2 version while I’m running an Oreo 8.1.0 with last July’2018 OTA ( OPM1.171019.026.V9.6.4.0.ODHMIFE )
So, I try a TWRP (type Oreo) whose I don’t remember where I found it, I install it and everything seems to be OK until I restore a backup… Bootloop ! :crying:
But a nasty bootloop ! Because the one and only solution I managed to recover the phone is to Mi Flash the last image of July’18 ( 9.6.4.0.ODHMIFE )
I success flashing and I end up with a brand new phone. :victory:
So… Before breaking anything more I’m here to call to your user experiences to advise me for a TWRP that works (especially for backup/restore) on Mi A1 Oreo 8.1.0
Here my questions :
—1) I hesitate between using and hacking the Stock ROM, LineageOS 15.1 or AospExtended.
——Then, a common TWRP for backup and restore between this three ROMs is not possible I suppose? It seems not because for example LOS would be delivered/flashed with its own TWRP…
—2) I tried to compile my own TWRP but after 4GB of « repo sync » download I still not get a folder « devices/xiaomi/tissot/BoardConfig.mk » neither even only a « BoardConfig.mk » to configure…
——So I left out to compile myself and I sorted out what was available in the most recent TWRP for Oreo Tissot and found:
@mohancm ’s recovery —> https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3688472
@pl_blaze ’s recovery (based on mohancm above) —> https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77071659&postcount=1303
@CosmicDan ’s recovery —> https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3793637
@nicknitewolf ’s recovery —> https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3821469
——Which one do you advised me to be compatible with a Xiaomi Mi A1 under Oreo 8.1.0 (Non treble) updated to the last patch of July’2018 ( OPM1.171019.026.V9.6.4.0.ODHMIFE ) ?
My goal is to be able to backup & restore system and data without bootloop, without data loss, corruptions and without any bugs in a general way.
Finally for that my first post will not be only an useless question I will share with you image file tree of Boot Stock and image file tree of the 4 TWRP mentioned above. If it can be useful for someone…
Warning ! TAR.GZ compressed ! Extract in Linux preferred ! Not sure how symlink/letter case will react in Windows…
@Stock Boot 8.1.0 Oreo 9.6.4.0 Extracted —> https://mega.nz/Stock_Boot_Extracted (Virustotal)
@mohancm ’s recovery extracted —> https://mega.nz/mohancm (Virustotal)

@CosmicDan ’s recovery extracted —> https://mega.nz/CosmicDan (Virustotal)
@nicknitewolf ’s recovery extracted —> https://mega.nz/nicknitewolf (Virustotal)
Again, sorry to start with a long post and only questions, but I intend to participate later: I have to make 5 customs images to edit Tissot’s « splash.img » (based on blue/yellow Amstrad CPC theme teaser) and I would share my work here.

Again, sorry to start with a long post and only questions, but I intend to participate later: I have to make 5 customs images to edit Tissot’s « splash.img » (based on blue/yellow Amstrad CPC theme teaser) and I would share my work here.

If you don't wan't to trebelize your phone go with the twrp from nicknitewolf, it's the only that can install LineageOs images untill now, but it's only a bootable twrp, don't have permanent twrp untill now, or you can try with cosmicdan twrp, this have a survive function when you install a rom, but cannot install latest LineageOs roms.
With all twrp you can backup and restore any rom, stock and custom.
Edit, now abishek released a new twrp 3.2.3 that work with all roms and it's persistent. It's on the OP from lineageos official threat

Installation:
If you are on stock OS, you need a custom recovery first. You can get the recommended TWRP recovery in the official installation instructions link below.
If you are coming from stock or other ROMs, you need to make a factory reset.
If you are coming from LineageOS 15.1 with f2fs userdata, you need to format the userdata partition! Read the second post for more information.
As always, make sure to backup before installing this ROM.

Upgrade instructions from LineageOS 15.1
Lenovo used a very old version of f2fs which is incompatible with latest f2fs version of 3.18 kernel. In order to keep the device updated with the latest features, it was necessary to upgrade f2fs with the downside of existing users need to format the userdata partition. If you want to keep your userdata, follow these steps. Keep in mind any apps using the keystore will be broken and you will need to clear their app data and set them up from scratch. If you used ext4 for userdata, you can simply upgrade without any breakage.
If you want to keep and migrate your 15.1 data and internal storage contents (only on incoming official builds!):
1. backup userdata in your current TWRP and take an internal storage backup on your PC.
2. reboot to bootloader
3. fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.2.3-20190209-kuntao.img
4. reboot to recovery by holding vol up + vol down + home + power buttons
5. main menu -> wipe -> format data
6. main menu -> reboot -> reboot recovery
7. flash lineage zip (and gapps/whatever else you want)
8. restore userdata backup and internal storage backup
9. delete /data/system/locksettings.db, you will have to set your lockscreen protection again when it boots
If you want a completely clean install just skip steps 1, 8 and 9.
I tested this process and it worked coming from lineage-15.1 or stock ROM.
Yeah! Thaaaaaanks Mike!
Thanks dude . Love your work
Thanks a lot mike!
AWESOME! Thank you.

So one hour and a half.

Sorry! Unfortunately I was wrong.
So if I already have ext4 data partition I can simply install the new 16.0 update without having to migrate the data etc?
Do I need the new recovery too?
Normally the build of the images starts on sunday 8utc am, so 10am my time. we'll see ^^ thx mike!
@philje123 i will test it out, as soon as the rom is available. i am too on ext4 already, i am using the new twrp since february, even with the 15.1 build. i will try to simply upgrade from 15.1 to 16, so i don't have to reinstall all apps. i will write, if it was working for me.

Yes, you need new recovery, but flashing new recovery do NOT wipe your data. It contain a newest format of f2fs format. On TWRP page you have a guide, how to flash it step by step on your phone without meet do plug your phone to PC.
Thanks Mike waiting for awesome
Should we expect a build this sunday at 10 am european time ?

I thing about 1 pm CEST (European Time)
I remember last year on presentation 15.1 it took a couple of days before we could download after announcement.
Mikes work is awesome. But his timing
But anyway, I'm looking forward for this rom and I thank all the developers :good:
i mean it depends, when the build for the 16 roms is starting everyday, but according to this site https://www.lineageoslog.com/build/scheduler we will get nightly builds, instead of weekly ones.
so that means, daily snapshots, like we had with 15.1 from july till november, before we only got one update a week. but no matter when, i am just happy that 16 is finally here ;D
no matter if we have to wait another day or not for the first build. but still - it's just amazing how much love the p2 gets. it is still one of the best, if not THE best device i've ever had. perfect performance for daily usage, even with slight gaming and i only need to charge my device once or twice a week. that's incredible! my device is now over 2 years old and my battery still lasts 4~6 days with one charge <3 best phone ever created hahahaha - and thx to people like mike, it is up to date too =) i hate lenovo as brand, when it comes to software updates, but the hardware is awesome, for that price tag...
