Help Netflix mecool - Android TV General

Is there a working version of Netflix ATV to work on my mecool km7.
Really would like a fully functional ATV version, the mod version on the box has quite a few bugs,
Thank you in advance.

The version included with the km7 isn't great, mostly because it allows only sd quality. Although it does work reasonably well with the included remote.
What other bugs bother you? Are you running version 1.1 of com.netflix.mediaclient, rather than version 1.0?
There probably are some patched versions of the offical atv app, but they never seem to last over time.

i will take a look at what version I have,
problem I have is I cannot search on netflix, will not allow me to get there with the remote.

I had that problem before the ota update (dated 20220602) a few months ago. Did your km7 get updated?

Is there a fully working 6.x.x/7.x.x

Every few months I check to see if there are updates to my tab 4 sm-t530. All I see have things broken/not working. I have run apps that tell me the tab 4 can run android 6/7. I am on the official Android 5.0.2 update.
I guess it's not simple, getting thinga like Bluetooth etc working., and for such an old device like the Tab 4 people don't work to fix them as much as newer devices.
Would appriciate any advice/discussion on this matter.
I'm looking for the same :/

Try [ROM][OFFICIAL][Marshmallow 6.0.1][T530] PAC-ROM MM Final [13-01-2017]
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/development/rom-pac-rom-mm-final-t3546818
It's my daily driver. Everything works (camera, mic, audio, wifi, etc).
Install it with TWRP 3.1.0-0 + open gapps (pico) + supersu.
Once installed, use Open Camera app instead of the original app.
I even use Xposed without any problem.
All Nougat Roms are still buggy.

[Q] Stock Cam on LineageOS 16

Hi,
I try to find a way, where I could install the Stock Cam from OnePlus5 to my LineageOS. I 'm not sure, but I think this must include also some Libs?
For the moment I only find articles for GCam or others, but the Stock Cam was not findable for me. So I would like to ask, if someone has experiances with that, or maybe put me to the link where it is explained (as I was maybe to tumb to find it )
Thanks in Advance!
As no Answers, I research further, and give here some infos, if others search for that also:
- It is possible to install the stock cam without additional things (like root or whatever) by downloading it from apkmirror
- link: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/oneplus-ltd/oneplus-camera
- take care, it seems on OnePlus 5 not all versions running properly. The last real working version under Lineage OS 16 for me was 3.4.25
- I tested several versions of 3.8, where are on each app other problems (app crash, not choosable options, and so on)
- The link to standart Gallery is not working (I expect that the cam app assumes to open the oneplus galery, but I have others)
- you can test Versions by starting in a low version, then you can update to newer versions. The other direction (starting with high version, and downgrade is only possible by deinstalling the newer version).
- If I foud a stable 3.8-Version I will notice it here (3.5, 3.6, 3.7 are not on apkmirror, I assume that the big version-change is related to also other hardware needs for the cam, so this will cause maybe the problems...)

similar story and solution here:
OP Camera version 3.0.43 (I may try the suggested v 3.4.25, if I find time)
OP Gallery version 3.8.21
Do you have any gapps installed?

Yes, I'm bad and use the most of Gapps
Anyway, maybe the point that 3.8 does not work could be related to Cam Framework which maybe must also updated... but on apk mirror only V1 is avalible... But I'm afraid to change something there on the Rom included stuff, as I need my phone running...

Only an ancient version of youtube app (14.31.50 from 2019) available from the play store

Hi,
I have installed the official lineageos-18.1 and opengapps 11 on my S5 (G900F). For some strange reason, I can only install an old version of the youtube app from the play store (14.31.50 from 2019), which only works once before asking to be updated. Functionality can be restored by clearing data but this is not sustainable. Has anybody seen this and can this problem be fixed? Thanks!
It's only very recently that this version of YouTube has stopped working. I think the Play Store just doesn't serve newer versions to the S5, but you can probably sideload newer versions.
I use YouTube Vanced, the current version of which works fine on the S5, but the current versions of that are broken with Chromecast. Apart from that, it works fine for playing videos.
Around the same time as your post, someone on Reddit encountered the same issue on a Note 3. They resolved it by installing an APK - presumably from one of those mirror sites?
And finally, here's an issue on the LineageOS issue tracker which may be worth a read: YouTube app is not getting update.
Thanks for the link to the bug. I did try sideloading the apk and it did work, but it is not really sustainable in the long run. I will keep looking.
Any news on this? The same thing happens to me on LOS 18.1 and an Galaxy S4 LTE (GT-I9506).
Fixed by installing a newer version off of apkmirror.com, not really a good (=permanent) fix though.
