Stuck on white Amazon LOGO - Fire TV General

Is this the right place to post about my mistake with a second generation AFTV? If not could you point me in the right direction?
Thank you

Ok I have seen a few people have viewed this and no one has said Im in the wrong place.
My AFTV 2nd gen is now stuck on the white Amazon logo. This happen after I tried to wipe the device which had teamwin 3.0.0.0-5 on it. I was trying to upgrade the OS to the last upgrade, in hidsight I should have left it alone.
??? - Is the device now DOA or bricked. I am hoping this is an opportunity to learn and take advanctage of my situtuion. Any suggesions at this point will be greatly appriecated. I have tried to search the forum, but I don't think I know enough currently to start.
TIA

G1 wont boot at all...

I've been teaching my girl about the whole rooting and running other roms thing. I've been messing with Android Devices for a while, But never messed with a G1, I currently own a DINC and GS.
she got it rooted and running the newest CWM. But we hit a snag getting any sort of custom rom working. One of the roms required the DangerSPL... lol since that, it will not pass the G1 screen and will not boot into Recovery.
I need help getting this phone back. Any thing anyone can think of?
Did you try flashing the proper radio first?
One of my Schnauzers posted this.
We followed all instructions given, Radio, SPL, and Rom. I made sure she followed the instructions given by the dev that made the specific roms.
The problem is still the same. only the G1Logo, No Recovery or Bootloader starts. You attempt to, and just that logo pops up.
lol stupid "how to fix your bricked g1" threads, every single one of them can easily get into the boot loader or recovery and they call it bricked.
Android G1 mobile software required (urgent)
hi,
My mobile set does not proceed after G1 logo. I need mobile software and method to do that.
i shall be grateful.
Regards,
Khurram
khurramsarwar, Press and hold the Camera Button and while holding, press the power. What happens? Try Home+Power. What happens?
See a real brick is when these things don't work. Like what I'm trying to fix.
You have a lovely new paperweight.
Your only option is the following...

Yeah I know. I told her to get another, we have already found like 3 or 4 for around 25 bucks! Just waiting for her to get it so I can do it right this time. I told her to be patient and wait for me to do it. But she is anything but.
So buy four G1's for a cool hundo...and split them. Let her do two and you do two. I'm sure she's capable of a second chance alone. If she wants it...shell get it.

COMPLETELY BRICKED A7+ please help

hi all i attempted to use the dextor hack and i messed up with the flash all data step i thought it did it but it didnt and then when i went to update and it was done i just get a black screen when i turn on the device i can not even go into recovery mode its just basically lighting up the screen and nothing i am very tech savy so i can do just about what ever i need to just somebody please help me out hours of looking and i cant find a single thing on this
Not Really Sure how much help i can give you seeing as i never seen anyone brick one of theses devices. Im pretty sure you don't a Elocity A7+, from i beleive they aren't available on the market. You should have a regular Elocity A7.
Before you check the link below be very positive you can't get into recovery, sometime it take a little long for it to come up.
Also if the tablet is new you should also think about calling or emailing Elocity to see if it can be replaced.
most of use aren't very active in the Elocity A7 forum of xda, so you may get more help at Tabletroms Forum
I don't no much about Nvflash but you should read into this it may help: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1022273
The A7+ has been selling and shipping for the past few weeks, i just got mine delivered today. Now I'm here learning that trying to use the A7- hack might be a bad idea.
a7+ bricked fix
See Destron5683 response for black screen, make sure you use the a7+ update if you bricked your new a7+ trying to upgrade it.
Any advice for following
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21109150
and then not being able to access the keyboard? Thats the point I am at currently.
This is an older thread, but assuming you have not tried it, see the recovery information at ElocityNow website:
http://www.elocitynow.com/prod_a7-plus_recovery.shtml
You should be able to get back up and running it the recovery posted in the post above. I got my A7+ stuck in a boot loop when I changed something that I shouldn't have in the build.prop and the PC recovery method worked just fine.

[Q] A500 Stuck at Acer logo

Sorry to be a bother but I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
Quite a long time ago my a500 had an issue where it was rainbowing on boot. It remained in that state until I picked up a Nexus 7. Back then I attempted to recover it and I was able to get a bootloader installed, after I got the bootloader working (TWRP) I was not able to get any roms to boot. From there I just let the thing sit around gathering dust. Unfortunately all the specifics are a bit fuzzy for me. But I've read quite a few posts and have tried to figure this out on my own but I haven't had any luck. I would like to get any rom booting and just move forward from there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Currently I am only able to boot into TWRP v2.1.3 or I can just sit an an Acer logo that never progresses any further.
I have pretty much all the tools one would require to fix the problem I just need someone to point me in the right direction. No data on the tablet is critical fyi.
Try Nvflash the bootloader and then install a custom rom.... but my A500 can't even get the bootloader

Do you have the skrilax_cz unlocked bootloader installed? Should state so (with version) when you boot the tablet.

[Q] My new G2 freezes when trying to install TWRP

Hi guys, here my friend and I are pretty new to G2 stuffs so forgive us if we did or ask anything stupid here. Right now we're kind of in trouble coz we can't get our G2 to even turn on now.
We bought the F-320L version, which was changed to D802 already when we purchased. We tried to get TWRP onto the device so that we can start having fun modding stuffs, but then this where we're stucked now.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2472223
We are totally clueless on the 1st and 2nd method so we chose to try the 3rd method.
After running Flashify, we selected Flashboot, and then that's it. The phone freezes since then, at the screen as attached image.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/0jr84jmzipl8abx/20131016_230129.jpg
Now we can't go anywhere except this screen at all. Even unplugging the battery and inserting it back in, it will return to this screen.
We can still go into Download Mode, but we're so clueless now that we don't wanna try anything risky (yes, I know it's too late, but we're trying to fix it).
Can we have some kind of pointer here?
I don't even know I'm giving out enough information or not, so if you need any more information, please let us know here.

Restore2Stock - 'Restore your Kindle like it never happened'

Hello everypeople
Long story short I was rooting my kindle and then I dumbed; I wiped without booting and had a faulty download, so was stuck without an OS. I looked around all the options on here and elsewhere. Not relishing the thought of having to either pay for and wait for a fastboot cable and really wanting to get the kindle sorted (comics and such to read), I persevered and eventually stumbled along this site: http://n2aos.com/#install
At the bottom of the install page is a program to restore kindles to stock from a brick or bootloop or only having recovery etc. There are forums that will explain how to use it but its pretty straight-forward and self-explanatory. As long as you can boot into TWRP you're set and the program will do the rest for you.
I couldn't find anything on this in the threads (sorry if I missed it) so thought would put this up here for anyone who's stuck and would like a quick, easy way out so you can restart you're rooting. Saved me a lot of potential time and money and seems a much easier alternative to the other restore to stock options about.
Have a nice day guys, hope this helps someone
Fastboot cable is cheaper than some guys who basically took someones hard, open source work and made it paid for.

No point in using this when you can get a fastboot cable. And if it's looping, even the software won't help you.
Mine was just stuck without an OS and was perfect for that. Also software's free and don't have to pay and then wait for cable to arrive
This worked on my Gen 1. Thank you for the link!
You are welcome sir, glad it helped.
when I plug in the kindle in to the computer and get the restore2stock running it says that the installation part which runs through "wizard installation" failed. I think that is the only thing holding me up, I have a Gen 1 kindle. Any help??
Huh. This is exactly what I'm looking for. I have a kf2 that's collecting dust with i think KitKat on it and I really just want to flash it back to the original Amazon software because I remember it performed really well for reading books and comics and watching prime video, but kinda sucks at all of that with CM installed.
