Question Dolby Atmos on Phone(1) - Nothing Phone 1

Does anyone got a chance to install dolby atmos (rooted) on your nothing? I am afraid to brick my phone again

1/ Install Magisk Bootloop Protector
This module can prevent a bootloop/can't boot system if a unstable/conflict/incompatible module.
2/ Reboot
3/ Install AudioWizard-DTSXUltra-AsusZen6-MagiskModule v5.5-Stable
On my Mi 11 it's the only working Audio Module working perfectly and exactly same feeling quality than Dolby Atmos.
I will test as soon i will receive my Nothing 1 in a few days

Working perfectly for me. Dolby Atmos module or DTSX module.
And DSP working, not placebo, you can easily hear the difference, especially on the Dolby Atmos module.

Viper4Android, has anyone managed to get it working?

hey guys, just wondering if there are any viper4android users out there and if anyone has managed to get it working on the N6P

Yep, mine is running in normal. I do have SELinuxModeChanger set to permissive. Did you try that? Did you disable musicFX? Besides that I did exactly what was listed in the nexus 5x set-up.

where is the musicFX disable option? looked everywhere on the 6p and couldn't find it??
well, I don't know why but it seems to work now... without locating the musicFX disable option... followed the direction like on the link for the nexus 5 but also installed selinuxmodechanger and set to permissive. that seemed to work.

I am using systemless root and the selinuxmodechanger app does not work with this root method, so I used the permissive zip from flar2. I disabled musicfx and it still wont work in normal mode

changing musicfx back and forth didn't change the sound. but I know that the sound changed following the instructions and adding permissive option on selinux so maybe removing the file from the directory affected this?
I also followed the steps from the 5x forum and I am unable to get the driver to stick. I am rooted the non systemless way.
I had to use rootbrowser to delete the audio_effects.conf permanently. Once I did that, it worked

Does viper4android give us system wide audio control? Such as allowing us to change the gain on the top/bottom speakers?
Edit: Dw I found out it does. Just need to root and get it now then.
I'm having constant problems keeping this working. I did everything told in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63486621&postcount=7 yet every other day I get the issue of going into Google Music, playing music, and when I try to go to settings to get to Viper EQ, the music stops and Viper tells me all of a sudden that the driver isn't installed again (when it definitely was and was working fine).
Also, lately when I go into the SELinuxModeChanger app, it shows Enforcing is chosen, even right after I change it to Permissive. It keeps changing back on its own, even after root permissions are granted.
This wasn't happening until recently.
Running Elemental X's kernel if that matters.
Any ideas?
So I couldn’t wait any more so this weekend I rooted and got my Viper ON. Viper is one of the main reasons that I root. This is what I did:
1) I get TWRP and rooted by doing this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guides-how-to-guides-beginners-t3206928
2) Now that I’m rooted, I get busy box working
3) I didn’t need to change my SEL Mode by doing this.
4) I Boot into TWRP and I flashed the attach zip. “ViPER4Android-supolicy.zip”
5) Disable MusicFX and then I went into system/vendor/etc and killed “audio_effects.conf”
6) Open Viper and install best Driver
7) I had to re-flash the zip 2-3 times without wiping before I got it working.
Now my 6P is on MDB08M, Crypted, enforcing mode with TWRP and rooted with Viper.
edit: here more info about the the attached zip:

There is a file called update script in the zip that file needs to be edited using notepad++, there are some lines of code in the starting of that file that needs to be modified. I haven't checked it out yet but I'll try to make a flash able zip for twrp as soon as I'm free.

It can be flashed via the proper recovery for x3_row. But, yeah, system shouldn't be modified before applying OTA.

How to install Viper4android ?

I found the speakerphone is very weak so I wanted to increase volume of it. I searched and found Viper4android could do it. I tried Viper4android apk but its driver never installs. Then I tried the Magisk module but it does not work either. Does anyone know how to get Viper4android installed?

Which Viper did you guys choose? There are 3 available. I had the Viper app but the driver was installed but not working even after multiple reboots. Any advice appreciated. I chose the Viper for Magisk 14+
Need my Viper! Also,I imagine USB/Dock should help the headset output, not headset, correct?
Update- removed the Magisk 14+ version and installed the 2.3.4. 2.5 failed as well. 2.4.3 says that it's working but I hear absolutely nothing when adjusting settings. If one of ya'll could tell me precisely what you did to get this upand running I would be most grateful.

Was looking for dolby since own this phone, thx a lot mate
So I have this all installed and it appears to be working, I can open both up. My only question now is how do I use these? Sorry I'm fairly new to this and have never used viper or Dolby. I see in viper I'm supposed to add profiles, where do I find those and how do I know that Viper and Dolby are actually being used when I'm playing audio through my speakers or headphones?

Profiles you get from the web. I recommend downloading arise profiles and using one of there's. I use audiophile x.
To chexk if working. Play music, then open viper click menu/3 lines on top left click on driver status, should say processing. Means it's working.
While music playing open Dolby and the graph should be moving to the music.
If both of these are doing that then it's working.

Extract the profile from the zip. Then place that in the profile folder which should be under VIPER4android in your root browser. Then open the V4A app, open the menu and select apply effect profile. You should then see, and apply your profile :good:

I would confirm driver installed on viper re-flash Dolby and see.
Anyone try the Ainur Sauron mod.
I am running it with Viper and Dolby. They are hardware modifications with no apps. It does contain set prop addons, which I am trying one at a time.
Warning: Do not flash Ainur first on a clean flash. Flash Viper and Dolby first. If you're already setup it should flash and boot fine.

Pixel 2 XL tested and working
Steps:
Have Magisk 14.6 installed (if you dont know about this STOP HERE and RESEARCH, google is your friend!)
Have Ahrion Materialized V4Android Magisk module installed 2.5.0.5
Reboot confirm all is working!!!!
Download on pc Dolby-Oreo.zip, for whatever reason if Downloaded on phone error 2 when trying to flash
Flash in Doly-Orep.zip in TWRP = profit.
*only issue is "Surround Virtualizer" is greyed out. Otherwise working till @guitardedhero makes a full working ARISE~
