Google services account log-in will not allow authentication, i.e. no Google service access! - Huawei Honor Note 8 Questions & Answers

I know there may not be a lot using this phone anymore, but still using it myself as I really like this phone (Huawei Honor Note 8), at least up till this problem has arisen.
About 6-8 months ago, I found I was having problems with the system not allowing me to log into my Google services from this phone. I have the latest EMUI update EDI-AL 10 8.0.0.555(C00) with the last security patch Jan 1, 2021. When trying to use any Apps that require Google account services, It keeps telling me I have to authenticate my account on this phone, but it seems it is not working or allowing me to authenticate when I try, and therefore no access my Google services from this phone.
I can still access my Google Account services from my newer tablet and the internet, but not from this phone now.
Anyone else have this problem or have a solution to this?
I have been APKPure to update my apps instead of Google Play as an example.
Are there any options that can be done to resolve this Google account authentication problem?
Is there a way to maybe put a new developer system on this phone, that will give it a OS refresh with Android and Google Service access?

I am on same Version 8.0.0.555 and i have access to Googleapps,Playstore and all my Apps works fine.
Have you tried Systemrecovery in Erecovery?

Google Apps Device Policy does not work on S9100

What adding new Google Apps account, I getting the message that this account require Google Apps Device Policy to be installed.
I have installed the Google Apps Device Policy. But when I getting to Account selection screen, pressing OK do nothing. It’s not go to next step of setting up the policy and cannot log in.
Anyone solved this issue?
Shay
I got google apps account (not premium, standard only) and it works flawlessly. Could you make second check to make sure that you have mobile access enabled?
I thought I would be the only professional user
I'm searching the hole internet for 3 days now to find people with this problem.
I experience exactly the same issue.
It took me about 10 factory resets to find out that it is an sgs2 issue.
Shame on Samsung.
This Phone is useless for professional users with Google Apps account.
To all who need the Google Apps Device Policy-App:
Please contact the Samsung support at least 10 times a day.
Until they understand that this is a killer-bug

[Q] Unable to configure Google Apps account on Android L

I have a google apps domain (2300s.com) but get the following error when trying to configure my account :
Sorry, Google doesn't recognize that email
is there some kind of DNS record that should be updated?
thanks

I have similar problem. When I try to add google apps account it forwards me to web page of the service. As a consequence I cannot add this account although it was working without problems on older androids
Hi,
i have the same problem with my n5 and n10. I opened a ticket at goolge apps team, they confirmed the bug.
I found a temporary solution:
Install 4.4.4, add setup you accounts then do a sideload update to lollipop. The google apps accounts work fine.
bye,

[Q] Google account syncing problem on Galaxy S5

Hello, I'm new here.
I have a brand new galaxy s5. Running stock everything. I set up my Google account and was able to access some features, such as logging into the play store and downloading apps. However I am unable to access the Google play games feature, I also cannot sign into certain apps requiring google+. I have deleted the account and re entered my details. I have even performed a factory reset and still have no luck. I have tried putting my phone in flight mode and then back to normal and even disabling master sync and re-enabling it. How do I fix this problem. The account seems to say syncing for a very long time, everything else seems to work fine. Is this a network problem?
Problem solved
So I figured I wasn't going to receive any advice any time soon, probably because my explanation wasn't too clear but I fixed the issue. As mentioned I tried everything and factory reset and that did not work. The main issue was when I logged into some apps requiring Google+ link such as Clash of Clans, I was unable to sign into link my account. I also realised the Google Play Games app did into work, it just showed blank loading pages for tab.
So here's what I did (Android 5.0 - Galaxy S5 stock):
Go to Settings>Applications>Application Manager>All
Now go to the Google Play Games App then disable the app. This uninstalls the new version of the app that was updated 15th May 2015. Instead you are reverted back to a older version of the app, which works perfectly. Now you will be able to link your accounts requiring Google+/Google Play.
Since Google released the update quite recently, people have experienced the same issue. I am hoping a new update will be available soon so you can update to that and skip this current update and never have to worry about the bug again.
But at least with this fix you can enjoy your Google Play Games.
Which one version of Google Play Games do I have to install?

Problems with Google running on Galaxy S5

Hello, today I rooted my phone to use apps such as gamekiller and when it rooted it was all fine. I could use Google services, access play store and everything. But later on I did a factory reset on my phone because it was full of unwanted data and apps that I don't need. When I did the reset and I come to log in with Google it wouldn't let me use Google account it kept saying "Couldn't sign in. Cannot establish a reliable connection to the server." I can't use Google anymore, I can't use my login on YouTube, I can't access the play store, I can't use snapchat because of Google play services. I cannot use anything to do with Google. Anybody know what to do? Would running a custom rom work? I've also researched to problem. Date and time is normal. Wifi proxy is none which all causes problems for people and Google if they don't have them....
Thanks guys

Fire HD 10 [7th Gen] 5.3.7.0 GPlay inst. | Google Login Problems

Yesterday i noticed that for some reason my Google account got unlinked from my Google Play Apps, so i couldn't use any of the Google related stuff. When i tried to re-link/login i got the message "There was a Problem communicating with the Google Servers - Try again later"
So i started scouring the Internet for fixes, of which there are a few but rarely are they applicable to FireOS and they basicly all boil down to "reboot, wipe cache, delete data, reinstall" and so on. Evantually i ended up doing a Factory reset but that made it only worse since now all my Apps are gone except for the ones from the Amazon Store which got saved in the recovery. I reinstalled the Google Play APKs and got again that same error message so i tried creating a new account which went kinda okay until it came to the final login, again that error, however once i closed the Google settings a pop-up offered me to login via Browser and that worked for whatever reason, so at least i got access to the Google Play Store again, but with no access to my App Library. Even more curious, occasionally Google picks up on my Login attempts and i get e-mails with "security warnings" about a new device. Using other devices i can login to Google just fine btw.
Currently i have 3 Theories as to what happened:
1. It just happened randomly, as it appearantly sometimes happens with Android if the Internet is to be believed.
2. A sneaky Update changed something and now the Google Login Auth on my Fire clashes with whatever updated, i assume that based on what is currently happening with the Amazon Netflix App and Google Play.
3. A few days ago i installed WhatsApp (sadly a necessity since it stopped supporting Windows Phone and there are People i need to communicate with via WA) and since Google Play stopped working "shortly" after i'm inclined to assume a correlation. Ironically WhatsApp doesn't work anymore after the reset, it now got connection problems too.
At this point i've pretty much tried all fixes, applicable to FireOS, i could find short of rooting the Fire and modifying the "hosts" file, though i looked at the File, using a root explorer, and it already contains what the Fix said it should contain, so i'm not sure if that would actually help.
I hope someone here has some more ideas on what i could try to get it working again, though i'm already getting used to the idea of having to Flash it in order to get Google Play working again. (kinda a feeling of excited dread and second-guessing the idea, so i'd prefer methods that aren't quite as invasive right now.)

Can you protect your Google account by adding phone number in Google account settings.
So i did another Factory Reset, i couldn't get around not login into my Amazon account but this time i skipped restoring the Back-up and it worked, I was able to login into my google account, though that might be because i did it via the GPlay Store which kinda looked like a Browser login, rather than via GPlay Services but it is solved regardless, at least for now. I'm going to keep an eye on it for a few days, but i hope the Problem is solved for good.
