i am new to custom roms
i updated my sm t561 4.4.4.4 to lineageos 14.1 after days of use i discovered problems like the device keeps on closing apps and rebooting itself, and it cannot detect other sim cards, battery drains a lot and the device over heats. now i want to try lineage os 17.1 but first i need to know if its safe and better than the 14.1
is the the lineage os 17.1 official and compatible with my sm t561 tab e please help
I've also tried to install it (https://www.getdroidtips.com/lineage-os-17-for-samsung-galaxy-tab-e-9-6/) but without success. If you find something that works pls write me a message

but can anyone guide , which is best ROM available for TAB E T561 Indian unit?
I searched online and found lineage Os 14.1 , 15 , 16 , 17., viperOS, but i am not sure which one is most suitable for T561 ?
lineage OS 14.1 can be installed on T561 , but users report its buggy and laggy
Can anyone recommend the most responsive and fluent unofficial OS for TAB E T561 running Android 5.0 or higher, so i can install several apps for my child study , which i can NOT install on kitkat 4.4.4

I use Linage 17.1 since it runs the fastest with the least amount of bugs. You also have all the September security updates with it.

I am in the same boat as you. I was just gifted an old SM-T560NU. I'm looking for something that is light and fast as the stock android is deathly slow.
Tried compiling pixel experience android 10 but my 2 gb ram computer died.

Do you have SM-T561?
I'm asking because according to the creator of this ROM it will not work on SM-T561 because is uses different chipset than SM-T560NU:

Officially SMT-560/561 with Spreadtrum processor not uptaded anymore. But you can flash custom ROM. In my personal opinion,Lineage OS 14.1,Viper OS 5 are the best variants. At first you may to flash TWRP.

Been trying to find info on how to upgrade a galaxy s10+ (G975F) from LOS 18.1 to 19.1 without losing my data and apps to no avail (or at least something that I understand ). Found this thread Correct update... but the solution is not evident to me... Confused if I should use the files from Linux4 or the official from Lineage Lineage OS .
So if anyone could enlighten me how I can upgrade I would be very happy!
