So how can I change the software of this event in the country (country code) program with. I'm waiting your help I need ideas to solve this issue.
Hi, I gather english isn't your native language.
Not to worry, I think I understand what you mean.
The 2.2.1 Android update for the Desire HD (DHD) was removed due to the issues it caused for a large number of customers.
If you want to have the latest software available you will need to root your DHD, apply ENG S-OFF, flash a custom recovery & then flash a suitable ROM.
There are guides available in the Dev section of these forums, I would post links but I'm mobile.
But what may be relevant to update the phone's takenDid he the country? I bought the device from hong kong.

[Q] [Request]Unlocking Motrola Defy (MB525)

Hello everybody
i'm a new user in this forum ,but i usually follow your new threads (about my phone).
after getting my Motorola defy (mb525) ,i was unable to unlock it but thanks to this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1483297) ,i unlocked it successfully and i'm enjoying it BUT!!!
in that thread i read that it works only with this base-band version "EPU93_U_00.59.01",so i say no problem with that i need only to receive calls and sms from my partners
but after getting deeper in application and android's system ,i found that i need to upgrade my device to a higher android system ... In my first steps i was unable to unlock my device due to the higher system android that shows me a different version of base-band that is not compatible with the guide below,so i downgraded my device to android 2.3...my question is:
is there any trick that gives me the possibility to ''save'' my unlocking files or file?! and upgrade my device to another android's version without doing the same job!!!!,is this device can be only unlocked if it has the old system of android ??...
i'm waiting for your answers ,Thank you for your support

It is a topic about this problem. Read it. On the short: you must change the baseband even if you use KiteKat (CM11) ROMs.
Try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1483297&page=52
AFTER you flash the baseband changer. I use it and it work with PA beta2.
thank you pgreed
i wll give that a try ,can you give me what should i do in steps (1 2 3...) ,don't give me details just to begin .
because i tried to flash this zip calles from recovery (base-band switcher ) in different ROMs and i couldn't!!!

Verify Original Samsung ROM

Dear all,
I own a Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) with the following informations
CSC A310FB2X2APD2
Baseband A310FXXU2APC5
Current software A310FXXU2APDA
The phone was provided with a car type Seat Leon Connect which supports Android Auto. I live in Germany. As you might recognize, the CSC code B2X is a bit uncommon, but related to the "Seat edition" of the phone.
Now I have the problem that the phone is on a quite old software version (Android 5.1.1 with Security Updates of May 2016) and the phone does not find updates via OTA or Smart Switch. Several calls to the provider (Seat) and Samsung revealed that there is confusion how and when the last updates that were published for the A3 (2016) series will arrive for that specific model. As the phone provided has a Spanish country code, I was finally forwarded to Samsung Spain who told me I should simply search for updates. Which I obviously did.
As Samsung Germany told me that a spanish model would only do OTA updates when having a spanish IP, I even used a spanish proxy to look for updates, but without success.
I tried to change my CSC to the german DBT using the *#272# command, but it just tells me that the command did not succeed. There is an app called "Phone *INFO* Samsung" that tells me my CSC is E01 where E01, E02, E03, E04 and E04 are available in the firmware. This is confusing since this "E0x" is no known CSC country/provider code. So no way to simply switch the phone to DBT and german software updates.
I have the feeling, I will never be able to receive official updates...
So I have a couple of questions:
I'm coming from a Windows Mobile 10 phone where updates came nearly on a monthly base. Plus, the platform was never subject to hacking attacks due to only few devices. How critical is it to stay with the old software from a security point of view? Note, I only download software from the Play Store, but I am surfing the web a lot.
Is it true that a spanish IP is required for OTA updates or Smart Switch to find the update for the spanish phone?
As it is likely that I won't get offcial updates, I am willing to flash the german DBT firmware of December 2016 (say, from updato.com) using ODIN. Will I be able to receive OTA or Smart Switch updates in the future based on that, and therefore stay on a regular update path? I read that CSC and/or product code may be an issue.
Is there a way to ensure that the firmware I download from updato.com is really the official firmware? I am very sceptical about security and modified ROMs as I use the phone for business purposes. I informed myself a bit on the KNOX software installed on Samsung phones. Is it right that KNOX is able to check the originality of the firmware being flashed and therefore should increase the "Warranty void" counter in case the firmware is NOT original? Is there another way to check originality in advance before flashing?
Will I have to care for changing CSC and/or product code after flashing?
Most important: Say, I do the flashing to DBT firmware and for some reason, I need the original firmware back. Is there a way to return to the original Seat firmware? As it is available nowhere for download, I would have to use Smart Switch. Will I be able to connect the phone and simply put it to factory state (including the CSC code)?
Sorry for this long list and possibly dumb questions, but I am really unsure how to proceed.
Thanks for helping!
Tobias

Hi tys0n,
yes, it is exactly the same version.
Here's the firmware. http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?record=528B238FC03811E6B04AFA163EE8F90B
NOTE: U2 (marked in red) is the binary number. Bootloader should also be U2.
Since this seems to be a very specific firmware I just want to give a little varning.
Don't update to U3 if you ever plan to flash back to any U2 firmware (including this one).
Updated bootloader to U3 won't allow downgrade of itself to U2, and old modems won't work with updated bootloader.
There's a good chance that you'll end up with no signal or lost imei if you try to downgrade from U3 to U2.
Country/RegionEurope 02
Product CodeE02
OS VersionLollipop(Android 5.1.1)
Release Date02.05.2016

Phone A310FXXU2APC5
Hello,
I'm also exactly on the same situation... does anyone found a solution to upgrade to latest Android version / way to proceed ?
Thanks
Update: I finally managed to flash my Rom with a U3 firmware (Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 FR), see phonandroid.com and the tuto for installing a310fxxu3bqc2-xef on a Galaxy-a3-sm-a310f

Upgrade android on a chinese phone

Hey guys, first time posting so I hope I'm in the right sub.
Here is the thing:
- I bought a phone from a reseller which was sold to me as an SM-G930F with Android Oreo
- When it came home, I noticed it was running Marshmallow, and with further research it appears that the phone is actually the chinese SM-G9300 & it doesn't allow OTA updates
- I got a refund but I could keep the phone
The actual firmware is G9300ZCU2APG2
So the question is: am I able to upgrade that SM-G9300 to Oreo? If so, do I have to install a custom ROM running Oreo, flash a european firmware (or custom?) to allow the update?

Update says not possible downgrade after Android Q version G975FXXU8CTG4

A question,
I updated the phone to the last firmware for my device G975FXXU8CTG4 and in the update amongst fixes it was said not possible downgrade to lower versions. Is it still possible to flashing it back to lower , Pie or earlier versions of Android Q. ? Havent opened Odin yet, i just want to verify by you guys if its still possible to downgrade from this version ?
Thanks
Only Firmware with same number, for example you have XXU8 and Flash XXU7 Firnware, this isn't working.
Sorry for my bad english, im german.
