MODEL Samsung A5 2016 SM A510FD
Android version 7
UNROOTED
Do I need to root the device first using ODIN.
""TWRP Install (Requires TWRP 2.8.4 or higher already installed):""
As will be rooting for first time also point me towards a
downloadable link of TWRP 2.8.4
After installing lineage os 17
can we delete the gapps and lineage os setup files to save space
will google play work after ??
will we get updates from samsung ??
Thanks in advance.
Odin is needed and drivers I recommend version 3.10.6 link: https://romsandroid.com/odin-samsung/samsung-odin3-v3-10-6/
twrp latest version download with .tar link extension:
Download TWRP for a5xelte
Download TWRP Open Recovery for a5xelte
dl.twrp.me
For the Root it is recommended magisk first download and change the name magisk.apk you install them and then change the name to magisk.zip and install it through the rocovery link: https://magiskmanager.com/es/
usually lineage comes without gapps
But if you want to have the play store, it is recommended to download the gapps and install them through the recovery link: https://opengapps.org/
with the updates lineage os every week it is updated and by samsung no longer
I'm sorry for my bad English, I'm using a translator
