So ive attempted to install orangefox recovery from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...x-recovery-project-for-mi-a1-r10-1_1.4070847/ after I installed it, my xiaomi wont boot into android and goes to orangefox recovery instead! the system files are ok though, I've may go with any other recovery like shrp or pbrp but I don't know what to do now...
edit: i just had to remount the partitions, and that's all no need to answer anymore

My phone does not boot past the Mi logo and shuts off a few seconds after showing the Mi logo. I tried booting to TWRP but the same thing happens - phone shuts off after Mi logo. Phone is able to go into fast boot mode.
I have an unlocked bootloader and was running the Oreo RR. To update to the treble ROM, I flashed the TeamReloaded TWRP and that went smooth. I rebooted to system and there were no issues. After this I wiped dalvik and cache and flashed the Treble Oreo RR ROM and Magisk 16.4 . After this I tried rebooting and ran into this problem. Also, I have an encrypted storage.
Buddy reinstall twrp and Rom. That's the solution I found. Don't install magisk. It happened to me too
1.Flash Treble supported recovery in Fastboot mode
2.Boot into recovery
3.Decrypt your phone (factory reset)
4.Enable Treble support in recovery
5.Now flash any ROM you want.
flash stock boot.img first then flash your rom if uh want to flash treble rom then flash treble supported recovery n enable treble support in recovery if uh want to flash non-treble rom then flash non-treble recovery then flash stock boot.img then flash your rom

I am experimenting my old xiaomi mi a1 with various roms. I can use hotboot (boot from windows with recovery img). It works normally with recovery from mohancm. However when I tried to boot directly on the phone to recovery. It can boot to recovery however I can't touch or slide or do anything with recovery other than pushing power button to restart. I have tried both 3.2.1-2 from mohancm and 3.3.1-0 from twrp team but no result.
I have used the guide from the forum to flash the rom, install recovery and gapps. I have no idea what's wrong. Please help me out. Thanks.
I have samsung galaxy a40 with lineage os 17.1 with twrp 3.5.0_9.0 official with magisk, i flashed official orangefox recovery for a40 (beta) in twrp, after that my phone restarted to orangefox recovery, recovery not working, only showing orangefox logo, i cant do anything, every time i restart phone it will stuck at orangefox recovery logo, i dont know how to boot into download mode, please help
i had a same kind of problem, i was able to still use adb even to the recovery didnt fully start up.
so i was able to just type "adb reboot bootloader" and boot into the bootloader
please help here
1. i have unlocked bootloader
2. treble partition by using COSMIC DAN recovery.
3. i am able to boot any twrp by fastboot......... but when it comes to install twrp by zip file using hotboot twrp method........... i reboot into recovery........... my phone goes to blank screen {adb access} rather than TWRP----------bootloop--------

4. unable to boot into recovery by using {pressing} Buttons
5. also tried flashing Stock ROM {android 9 latest}
6. i have tried it with every available recovery but SAME REsult..
I tried to install custom recovery orangefox citrus or pbrp using official documentation and if i reboot into recovery it shows logo but screen just blinks. Recovery dosen't start someone know why?
