tried Android-x86 9.0 on 1051L - Lenovo Yoga Tab 2 Questions & Answers

I tried to install Android-x86 9.0 on my 1051L.
Setup gets stuck during the login at google account. The dialogue where email and password are requested closes after 2 seconds before any input can be done. The setup process reverses to the dialogue "copy apps and data".
No further action possible.
Any Ideas?

All you need is to re-enter your Gmail email and password.
If you says your gmail username/password is wrong, a master reset needs to be done.
Esp if you verify it works on a computer.
Yeah you probably will have to do a reset. Don't forget that login info!
you can try this
Try this:
It was all about this "Two-Step Verification" security of google!
I tried everything... and I mean EVERYTHING (except flashing my XooM), but at the edge of giving up, I signed into my google account and issued an "Application Specific Password" for Xoom from my Google account.
I used my [email protected] with that Application Specific Password and it worked. (do not enter spaces in the password)
Let me know if it worked

[Q] Blocked at the ‘YouTube Sign-In’ Dialog Box

I cannot believe I’m the only one with this problem but I see nothing about this in the forums.
Problem: After successfully booting with TouchNooter 2.1.31, after logging into both YouTube and Gmail, after seeing my Gmail and seeing the Market options 24 hours later, I realized I needed access to a different Gmail address. I registered Gmail #2 with B&N then repeated the rooting process but now I cannot log into YouTube from the Nook. I can, however, log into YouTube from the PC.
Questions: Could Google’s Two-Step Verification prevent logging into YouTube from the Nook? Could updating the firmware (from 1.1.0 to 1.1.2) before reregistering the device be a factor?
My Steps: (I’ve repeated this cycle three times)
• restore the Nook’s original ROM from the image made following jocala’s instructions.
• see the “Welcome to Your All New Nook” screen.
• register the N2E with the B&N account which uses Gmail #2
• decline to give a credit card number
• delete the partitions from the SD card using Mini Partition Manager
• burn new TouchNooter 2.1.31 image to SD card. Follow all TouchNooter instructions.
• boot Nook with TouchNooter . Screen ‘turns’ black but does not ‘flash’ black. Remove SD card. Reboot.
• launch YouTube from ADW Launcher.
• Fail YouTube login. “The username or password isn’t valid. A YouTube account is required. Please try again.”
• use NookColorTools/Manage Applications to clear the YouTube cache.
• Fail Youtube login. “The username or password isn’t valid. A YouTube account is required. Please try again.”
Additional Details
I updated the Nook (from 1.1.0 to 1.1.2.) before making an image of the ROM.
Talked to B&N. Verified the B&N account (using Gmail #1) is deleted.
Performed an “Erase and Deregister” from the stock state.
Performed an “Erase and Deregister” from the TouchNooter state (a bad idea).
Can anyone tell me why I am stopped dead at the YouTube sign-in dialog box?
Is your gmail account #2 linked to a youtube account?
Yes, I checked that YouTube is linked to Gmail #2.
It was my only idea, too bad
I am using my nook with 2 gmail accounts : I registered to BN and rooted with an account and then from the account menu in gmail I added another one. Emails are working for both accounts. I didn't try the market (because I use it only with the first account) and calendar/contacts sync.
Since rooting worked with #1, you can root again with #1 and add #2 as an extra account in gmail.
It doesn't really solve the problem but it's a way around.
Solved: Indeed, Google's 'Two-Step Verification' was the issue. To log into YouTube from the Nook I needed to generate an 'application specific password' using Google's tool then enter the resultant 16-digit password into the password field of the TouchNooter/YouTube dialog box.
If you have 'Two-Step Verification' enabled (and you should), go to your Google Accounts page. Select "Application Specific Passwords" from the left side of the page. Scroll down to the tool for generating the password. Tip: It's best to watch the video first.
For me it was turning off logins from insecure apps more info here.

Add account not working

Hello
I have just installed lineageos 18.1 according to https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/gta4xlwifi/install on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 lite. Now I have the problem that I cannot add an account under Settings -> Accounts. Nothing happens when I press Add account. I have already tried to terminate the contacts with "Force stop" and have emptied the storage and cache.I only installed lineageos without google apps. All I have to do is enter an email address so that I can use the Yatse unlocker. I don't want to synchronize any mails etc. Is it not possible to enter an account / e-mail address without google apps?
Thank you

Google account setup doesn't work - "can't establish a reliable connection to the android server"

Hi all,
My HD2 under (T-mobile version) stopped working with google services at all. I need it mainly for contact synchronization.
During the initial setup, when I type my google account login and password, I got an error message "can't establish a reliable connection to the android server". It won't let me create a new google account either - it says "account X is unavailable", although it is available from PC. If I skip this account info input, and try to do it later - I get the same error. I can log in successfully from the phone browser under the same credentials.
I tried different ROMs with android 2.3, 4.0, 4.4 (including firmware from tytung, that always worked in this phone before) - I am getting the same error.
Google says that Android 2.3.7 and older shouldn't work anymore:
Access your Google Account on Android 2.3.7 or lower - Android Help
To help protect your account's security, you can't sign in with your Google Account on an Android device with Android 2.3.7 or lower. If you perform any of the following actions on devices that run An
support.google.com
- that's ok, but I tried it with Android 4.x and got the same error.
I also tried:
- clean up the hosts file as I googled that it helped many people with this error;
- clean out dalvik cache;
- connect via VPN;
It did not help.
Can anyone who still has this phone with android please try to check, does google account setup work for you?
Thank you!
The last I used on it was Android & I think, or lolipop, I'm not sure, but yes I could of used the google services
