Google assistant don't seem to be accessible through voice("Hey Google", "Okay Google"), can't use it with headset as well. There's no problem with voice input, after i manually press the microphone. Before Last update assistant worked as it's supposed to be working.

might sound stupid, but what if i flash update without formating data?

last update again broke google assistant for headphones, "hey Google" is working just fine.

Does 64MP and high FPS video work in the included ANX Camera?

about anx camera
64MP is working
slow motion does not work time lapse does
documents scan doesn't work
pro is working just fine as well as portrait and video
if you take picture wih 2X zoom, post proccessing is going to make it either totally blue or red. same for GCam.

@AndroidHQ254 Hi... I flashed this ROM using TWRP recovery on my Mi Note 10 lite yesterday and I love it. The ROM is extremely beautiful and fast. But, there are issues that I have noticed.
1. Camera is working but taking 2 or more photos crashes the camera. sometimes after taking one photo the camera takes to the launcher's homescreen.
2. Charging is extremely slow. Mi Note 10 lite has fast charging support of 30W, but this ROM is only charging the phone at 6W-8W. is there any fix to it?
3. I was using Instagram. the video's thumbnails show the right colours but when playing the video it shifts the colour to bluish/greenish shades. This issue is not present in Facebook or Youtube apps.

@AndroidHQ254 Hi. How can i update the v1.9 to v2.1 ROM without flashing it again on my phone?
PS: No updates are shown in the System update section but v2.1 is already out.

Welcome!

Thanks for this. ??

Looks nice ! If anyone could report about the performance (antutu) and the battery life, id consider flashing this
Ugh, tried to flash the 700 on my 705 (never tried this before) but didn't get far.
TWRP 2.8.6.2.
Thank you very much for developing for this device, it's nice to see more variety for the T700.
Thanks a lot for developing new rom for tab s, downloading and will report back about its performance
Looks like I've ran into 3 problems so far.
1. If you try to skip logging into your Gmail account to do it afterwards, Setup Manager FCs and puts you back at the Select Wifi page.
2. I cannot change music with the volume buttons, I've tried this on two different players (Shuttle and Gramaphone.) This has happen to me with roms in their early stages most of the time, so I usually just install the app Pocket Skip Track to workaround the issue until it's fixed. Works just with with the app installed.
3. Theme Manager seems to be unusable, installing icon or themes from the Play Store causes an automatic soft restart, and trying to apply either FCs the Theme Manager.
Other than that I'm loving this (Especially the more tablet like notifications.) I use to use Liquid waaaay back when I had a Droid X, nice to use it again.
EDIT: Added to the list.

This are great news!!
m.
Theme provider always fc and can you please change position to bottom, of clear recent button?
My god man, usually I really have a hard time with AOSP ROMs because they either drain so much battery, overheat the device or have lots of fc. But man, this ROM is perfect ! I like how some of the UI size has been tweaked for the tablet screen, the new sound effects are dope ! In terms of performance, everything runs perfectly. I've tried every other aosp ROMs for this tablet and this one is the only one I'm gonna consider as a daily driver ! My tablet is nit running hot and the battery is better than stock at the moment ! And I like the KitKat browser and gallery, makes everything even more smoother ! Give me your donate button, you've earned it mate Can't wait till you fix the theme FC !
Also I've noticed a real performance boost in gaming compared to Stock TW 5.0.2. I had framerate problems on Mortal Kombat X and on your Rom, the game is running at 60fps haha ****ing Touchwiz man
On screen navigation buttons seem to not fit/scale/render properly in landscape mode. Great ROM otherwise. ?
«Sent from my not-so-stock T700»™
Hi thanks for the new rom support much appreciated. Couple of question if you don't mind, is the kernel permissive or enforcing? Is there a unmount feature for the micro sd card? And I know this probabally don't work but worth asking anyways, any fingerprint support? Thanks again!
Thanks boss for this great rom!
It is step up to other cm's- speed is is different like day and night. Device not heating at all, as others say...
I have some issues/ help requests if possible:
- theme engine gives FC and reboot when try to implement some other cm12 theme (will be nice to fix, to use some dark settings battery friendly theme)
- I got fc on any settings in stock browser
again thanks for GREAT PERFORMANCE rom
Is there anyway to get the DARK theme on this ROM. Thank you for this awesome work.

Hello guys,
I'm currently in holidays with poor internet access. I managed to build an update, but uploading is taking ages, so if I don't manage to have it done correctly, you may have to wait one more week until update is coming.

Latest build with Bidji kernel working very well, I don't know if it fixed the rotation cause I never had that problem in the first place (sorry? :/ ) I'm very impressed at how stable your stuff is jeje, by far the best out there! Not that there are that many alternatives anymore I'm sorry to say. Any clue on if/how things are gonna be working out concerning Marshmallow?
Enjoy your day
Hi
Tuning in real quick to report that my device doesn't always recognize my sim card anymore, sometimes when I reboot I get signal again but more and more often over the past week or two it's been saying that there's no sim in there at all. I suspect a hardware issue but perhaps you recognize this problem? Otherwise I'll contact Oppo. Thanks for your help

Hello mate,
Not sure it's your device as all recent find5 builds (at least the 3 i'm building for, DU, crDroid and Slim) are having random issues with sim card recognition at boot.
It has been for longtime, DU and Slim were the most affected builds, i implemented a test change in those builds, issue is still happening but less frequently. I can implement it in crdroid too, just tell me.
When happening you can also flash this fix zip in recovery, generally after reboot your sim card is again available. Keep it in your device, it will be helpful
Cheers & Nice evening!
PS: by the way, sending it back to Oppo is not a bad idea, when i got issues with my first find5 (usb problems), i sent them the device and received a find7s back....just had to buy another find5 back to keep on supporting our poor device
Slightly offtopic but since jejecule started it I might just give my two cents concerning Oppo warrenty. 3 months ago my headphone jack failed a week or so before the warrenty ran out. Oppo is very helpful and immediately offered a warranty replacement, but they told me I had to choose a find 7 or 7a and specify a color and pay an extra €100 for Find 7a and €130 for 7 oh so, pretty reasonable. I did choose which one I preferred and was promised I would be given instructions how to pay when they recieved my defect device. I sent my device which was confirmed recieved 2 day later. 1 day later I recieved a brand new Find 5. A bit wierd after all but I was more than happy. All in all it took 1 week from first email contact to a new device! (And this was the second replacement!) Very different from experiences with HTC, Samsung, Sony etc.
Verstuurd vanaf mijn Find 5 met Tapatalk
The Bidji kernel did not fix the autorotation problem for me.
@ fancyclouds : the radio_fix provided by jejecule fix the no sim card problem for me, I have to flash it after every new rom.

The fix works! No need to implement it for me. Thanks though!
ps: Shot an email to Support about a few hardware issues I was already having and they offered me a choice between 99eur for a 7a and 199eur for the 7. Seems like a great offer but which one would you recommend if I'm looking for rom/kernel/xda support? Or do they just support the same soms? Since on the oppoforums 3rd party development forums they aren't even in separate forums. Sorry for the offtopic stuff, hope you don't mind.

I build exactly the same crDroid for find7, compatible with all variants, + unified storage. don't worry about roms
Find7s has a better screen, more storage but for the rest devices are the same. Up to you to decide if 100 euro difference is justified.

First huge thanks for @33bca for helping me with building Paranoid Android for Mi5s Plus
We’re really excited to announce that we are releasing our Nougat flavour of Paranoid Android. We have a lot in store - with a mix of both features & improvements.
First & foremost, we have moved our code base to be fully CAF based. This brings many improvements to your device. The key improvement here is that Qualcomm hardware is better tuned on the CAF base and with our additional optimizations we can provide a smooth and fluid user experience that will let you enjoy using your device without any lags.
On first launch you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson who’s teamed up with us again and created several beautiful pieces of artwork. For those of you who don’t know, Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work stands itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We have also added several new features and made improvements to the UI of the system that we believe would enhance the overall experience.
Pie
We’ve been working hard on redesigning this key feature of our portfolio and we’re really happy with how it has turned out. The whole design has been reworked and it fits in well with the overall feel of Google’s Material Design. This gives you the opportunity to use more gesture based control for navigating, rather than using the standard Navigation Bar at the bottom of your screen. Expect improvements and additions in the future.
Color Engine
We’re proud to announce our newest feature - Color Engine. Color Engine allows you to seamlessly change the colors of your device to be in Light, Dark (Pixel) and Black modes with a variety of accent colors to choose from. This makes changing the theme of your device really quick without having to install any extra packages on your device.
Pocket Lock
This feature prevents any form of accidental input when your device is in your pocket by disabling input sources. You can simply release Pocket Lock by long pressing the power button as highlighted by the minimal UI incase of any sort of obstruction or dust on the sensors.
Accidental Touch
Accidental Touch is a feature useful for many, especially the gamers out there. It prevents any sort of accidental touch on hardware buttons while the touchscreen is in use. This means you won’t experience any unexpected behaviour while playing games, web browsing or even when attempting to reach your finger out to the edge of that humongous display.
Major features:
- Reworked Pie
- Color engine
- Pocket lock
- Immersive mode
- Buttons customization (including navigation bar)
- On the spot controls (OTS)
Minor features:
- SafetyNet Compatibility
- Battery/Notification LED control

Install instructions
We highly recommend you to follow these instructions very carefully. Users usually tend to skip a few steps and eventually fall in trouble. Are you with me? Good. Let's get this train going.
Just a few things to keep in mind first -
If you're coming from another ROM / Stock, your system data (not internal storage) will have to be wiped. This includes apps, accounts, messages, call logs etc.
There's been some users complaining about different GAPPS variants messing up installs and causing a ton of issues. Upon investigating it seems OpenGapps Mini/Nano work best.
Understand that Paranoid Android is a custom ROM and it might lead to addiction as it's relatively good. We shouldn't be accused of anything just incase your cat starts drinking wine. Things get a little woozy in the Paranoid World.
Some brain might be involved if things go wrong. Not a lot though, as much to solve what's 1+1.
Okay let's get to the main bit.
We recommend a full wipe.
Flashing order:
1. Back up to PC everything you would need (whole of Internal Storage including and not limited to
Titanium Backup folder, Music, Pictures, etc)
2. Flash TWRP
3. Format all partitions except the "internal" partition**
4. Flash Firmware zip
5. Flash AOSPA zip
6. Flash Gapps zip
7. Flash Magisk or SuperSu (optional)**
8. Reboot System
** SuperSu 2.79 and earlier is confirmed to fail. 2.82 is tested and confirmed to be working.
First boot time would be about 3-4 minutes on an average.
In case you are encrypted, read on:
9. If you were already encrypted, it asks for a password (pattern or pin), provide and if it goes
through, great and go back to Step 5
10. If you’re stuck, ONLY then read on…
a. If in case TWRP doesn’t accept your password and says ‘Can’t Mount Storage’, you will
have to use FASTBOOT from a PC to go further from here.
b. Assuming you have FASTBOOT working and it recognizes your device, the following need
to be done:
1. fastboot format userdata
2. fastboot format cache
3. fastboot format system
4. fastboot erase boot
5. fastboot reboot
7. Reboot phone into Recovery
8. In TWRP, Wipe – Format Data.
9. Install from Step 5 onwards.

Thanks!!!!, I'll give it a candle.
Could you help to upload the rom to AndroidFileHost.? Cause it's really hard for me to download from Google Drive.
Could you please port this to mi5s. We really want to try AOSPA. Thaaaanks!
Nice rom, thanks for it. But is it possible to bring in this rom some features like changing power of light to navigation hardware buttons and one-hand mode? This very useful features are in Lineage OS.
I would really love to try it. Is there anyone who installed it and can help us with some screenshots or even better a screenrecord? Thanks!
What's the difference between CAF and LineageOS? I'm talking about the core system, not the UI and other added tweaks.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

Boot the downloaded TWRP via fastboot
Flash the latest build
Reboot to bootloader and boot TWRP once again
Flash GApps and any other necessary add-ons

Announcement
Hello guys! I have been working on this from some time now, I have rebased our trees to more reliable sources which makes this the most efficient for Kernel 4.9 as of now, I'd still like to say this is under testing, my trees are private and I will make them public when I'll solve the upcoming bugs, there will be no major issues at all, just some minor bugs you might face, I don't know yet. I am kickstarting LineageOS builds for vince, I'll maintain this regularly just like my AEX builds! Have fun guys, don't forget to post bugs here, but only if you have logs for them.
Cheers!

This is a new beginning. New trees for vince, should have read the post #3 before.
These trees are official LOS ones I made compatible with vince. They got full 4.9 support, and this is the future of vince. I'll be using these trees for Official AEX too once I make them good enough.

Thank you amulayax, I did read the post #3, i have been using Hitesh build for a long time now and can say it's flawless (with exception of course of WhatsApp greencam issue) and it's on kernel 4.9, so I was wondering in what details your new trees are different?
If you can give some details or some general areas where you expect improvements I think it would be good to know, to make informed decisions, and to help you out with specific testing.
Will your build be "official" LOS? I think this will be important.

niceee... been using it for full of day rn. Smooth
On May 19th build the camera is producing 3 quarter green pictures. Will test May 20th build later today (or tomorrow).
@AmulyaX : First off thank you for the build. I really am looking forward for a streamlined Android ROM Small suggestion: I noticed that TWRP is not really coping with encryption/decryption and it's probably a better suggestion (in OP) to use OrangeFox as long as this isn't fixed.
im gonna try this by the way thanks!
Okay, I tested again with May 20th build and no dice.
The picture is 3 quarter green and the rest of the colors are also distorted. This happens with clean install and no GApps (so with the LineageOS Snap app).
Hm ok it seems I can't post example pictures directly: https://imgur.com/a/fAy0cPm
Also I noticed firmware version is 10.0.4.0 for some reason. I updated it to 10.2.1.0, but it's always back to 10.0.4.0, so I guess it's what it defaults to.

disable cam2api green pictures issues will be solved but u will lose gcam
Good ROM I really like It and I will try to use it as my daily driver.
For now I noticed some things like the Dark Theme is enabled by default screwing up the Android Setup launcher and few things like.. It makes them look crap and unfinished.
Prevent accidental wake-up not working at all.. nor Double tap to Wake but pretty good rom.
Hopefully those things will get fixed soon. ROM is smooth. Animations are smooth.
The geekbench benchmark score is: 861, 4077 multi. Tho It can be tweaked with kernel.
Hopefully the rom will become official soon but for now It's really good.
No idea weather he Device Performance in Battery Settings makes difference. I switched from Balanced to Performance but nothing. It's fine tho.
Edit: The performance improved after flashing Vimb Kernel. Rom has few bugs but overall very good for Unofficial build.
double tap to wake not work for me

Yeah dt2w is quite dead for now. I tried multiple ways to make it work, but it just didn't. For starters it did turned on, but then it didn't turn off. So I'll see what I can do in coming days.
There are just two minor bugs -: Green pics using Snap and dt2w

NOTE: It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.

Bluetooth is not working on riva...
Issues I am experiencing on Redmi 5A:
* "Problem reading the battery meter". Battery charge level shown as questionmark.
* Can not switch off the screen. It goes black but backlight led is on. Also status led always blinks.
* Because of unknown battery status it does not indicate if it is charging or not when connected to wall adapter
* Unable to switch off "night light" after switching it on
* When unlocking the phone, it makes a loud popping/crackling noise from the speaker
* Screen brightness control does not work (no changes when adjusting brightness)
* Auto rotate does not work
Why am I having so many issues?

do you flash using twrp oficial ? and from 7.1 ? I am from tqrp and 7.1
"Problem reading the battery meter". Battery charge level shown as questionmark. --- battery indikator show as usual
Can not switch off the screen. It goes black but backlight led is on. Also status led always blinks. --- not happen to me
Because of unknown battery status it does not indicate if it is charging or not when connected to wall adapter ---- this I found also using wall adapter.. but charging even there is no progress.
* Screen brightness control does not work (no changes when adjusting brightness) ---- working fine on me brightness can adjust when slide
* Auto rotate does not work ---- auto rotate is working....

Yes, I flashed using latest TWRP (TeamWin). I flashed on MIUI 11.
An additional reflash requires previous unlock key (which I know but which is not accepted). I guess flashing is not going smootly. I'll try to reflash once again.
Also I have flashed LineageOS 18 on this device and had same issue with unreadable battery state...

Try flashing a firmware not based on Android 8.1 (MIUI 11), but on Android 7.1 (MIUI 10) instead, like V10.1.1.0.NCKMIFI https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/riva/stable/V10.1.1.0.NCKMIFI/ (latest 7.1 firmware for global model)
Roms on Android 11 I used in the past have mentioned the newer firmwares wil break certain things. With the above firmware I have no led or battery status issues on the Redmi 5A with this rom. Only for me night light is not working at all, and preformance is mediocre compared to Lineage 18.1 on Android 11 (smoothest rom I ever used, but not updated anymore).
Bluetooth Automatic Disconnecting In Call I'm Unable To Talk With Earpods. Can You Please Help Me.......
OTA updates?
Thanks for the Rom
Some Feedback from Me:
OrangeFox Recovery and Firmware from 7.1
Had this Rom installed before:
[ROM] [11] [UNOFFICIAL] PalladiumOS v1.5

Clean Flash
Google Speech crashed at the first initial start.
USB-Debugging is enabled by default. You have to enable the developer Settings to disable it.

It's disabled by default, you have to enable it in the settings.
Another thing which i had to learn today, which i had flashed on another Redmi 5A a long time ago and forgot it on another one.
To get Sim working you probably need to flash this:
[CLOSED][ROM][11.0][riva] PixelExperience [AOSP][OFFICIAL]
PixelExperience for Redmi 5A [riva] What is this? PixelExperience is an AOSP based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, icons, fonts, boot animation) Our mission is to offer the maximum possible stability...
