As an ambassador I cannot wait to put my hands on OPPOFind X5.
What do i expect? Well, certainly a confirmation of the excellent work already done by OPPO in the last years from a software and hardware point of view such as the 80w Wooc Super fast charge, I think it can be the solution to the "battery anxiety" with which we often live.
I'm also looking forward to test the new Marisilicon's NPU optimizations related to night photos and videos and the collaboration with Hasselblad on color balance. Well ... I can't wait for it to arrive.

Finally I can share my unboxing ophotos and first impressions! Just a spoiler: With Oppo Find X5 you don't need to buy accessories or charger, EVERYTING IS IN THE BOX!
UNBOXING
FIRST IMPRESSIONSAs stated before, after you buy the phone you don't need to buy accessories! The box contains everything: 80W SuperVOOC charger, USB A to C Cable, a Type A-C dongle, a TPU Cover (very minimal and flexible) and the phone comes with a preapplied screen protector!
Simply unbox it and you are ready to go! I really love this!
The phone feels super premium in the hand with aluminium rounded edges, clicky buttons and a silky smooth matte frosted glass on the back. I really like the way the glass curves towards the shiny camera bump and also that this matte finish doesn’t pick up fingerprints at all! On the front the shiny 6,5" 120HZ OLED Display (not LPTO and with no variable refrash rate) with 1000 nits peak brightness.
Coming form 2 super phablets of 6,7 and 6,8 inches and over 200g (Pixel 6 pro and Galaxy S22 Ultra) I feel very comfortable with the size and weight of Oppo Find X5: 6,5" and 196g.
As many of you already know: Oppo Find X5 is rocked by a Snapdragon 888, the Qualcomm's flagship SOC of 2021 paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS storage, it shares both the Sony IMX677 camera sensors with the Pro version but it lacks 5-axes stabilization (it has the classic 2-axis OIS) and uses different lenses. By the way the most important camera innovation is here: the MariSilicon X NPU that should improve camera performance especially for night shots and video.
Cannot wait to deeply test this!

Another game, this time the challenge is against a big big phone! Which Ultrawide Photo is from Oppo Find X5?
Jings, Oppo "ambassadors"...their reviews are going to be really unbiased. Personally, I think Oppo Ambassadors enjoy getting their freebie devices to play with and have no intention of saying anything that might spoil their future gravy train supply of phones.
Clearly, they have to review the latest versions of ColourOS, hence why there was such a proliferation of the usual YT suspects bringing out very positive reviews of it after launch. Odd how none of them mentioned Oppo removing the ability to disable the Google Home Screen feed....
This phone has had astonishingly positive reviews all over YT, all from "ambassadors".....it's good, don't get me wrong but just be wary when watching reviews.

I have to say I prefer the S22U here. Sky on the oppo one looks a bit blown out and over exposed.

Great unboxing! Never been a fan of white phones ....until now!
Here is my unboxing experience and first impression of the OPPO Find X5 that I have been using for the past few days. Well before the package arrived, I have already watched and read so many good reviews about the OPPO Find X5 series and I was truly excited to get my hands on it. From the hardware to the software, everything is perfectly assembled and OPPO truly delivers in creating the one true flagship device that is super versatile and can be enjoyed by everyone, from professionals to casual users. The OPPO Find X5 series is truly a powerhouse and their devices are of the most premium quality without any major flaws. I believe this lineup can attract everyone from its own unique design to its magnificent ColorOS.
Alright let's get to the unboxing experience. The package that I received was the OPPO Find X5 and their first ever Imaging NPU chip, the MariSilicon X and it is truly remarkable because the chip is only 6nm in size but is able to deliver an unbeatable performance. When I opened the box, my eyes were already fixed to the phone itself because its back was beautifully crafted and the camera design has a unique cutout. The box also included a free matte black case which surprised me because some other brands would normally provide a transparent silicon case. Up next we have the manual, sim ejector tool and the premium service card. Also included in the box are the type C cable and the 80W SuperVOOC power brick that can charge 50% in just 12 minutes. Another thing that I think is worthy of praise is the inclusion of a type C to type A USB adapter which can be handy in some situations. The adapter can be used while on the go and in emergency situations which can be a lifesaver for some people. The camera design is interesting to me because it is not conventional like other flagships and the lens are embedded in the camera module which gives a sleeker look at the back of the phone as well as providing extra protection from scratches.
In my opinion, the OPPO Find X5 device is packaged beautifully. Some smartphone brands have already ditched the power brick and customers would need to buy it separately. This is not the case for OPPO, as they still include the power brick to varied wattage & implement their own SuperVOOC techology which really comes in handy.
The OPPO Find X5 is packed with a monstrous capability which delivers the best performance for daily usage. With the inclusion of the MariSilicon X, the images and videos shot from this beautifully crafted flagship will excel better than any flagship smartphone and it is something that should be praised. Truly, I really can't wait to share my review with everyone for this smartphone from the camera capability to the performance itself.
