POCO M3 System has been Destroyed [Lock State] - POCO M3 Questions & Answers

How u doing?
So, my Poco M3 was working perfectly until yesterday when I said YES to system update notification for MIUI 12.5 (such a dumb decision), now the system is dead...
I did see a lot of videos and I've already read some posts here, I tried to replicate all common solutions to resolve this problem but nothing works for me, because my bootloader is lock and i can't flash any rom in the locked state. I checked this methods to restore the system:
1 - I Downloaded the Mi flash latest version and the ADB drivers, but doesn't work because my phone is iin Lock State...
"Using Mi Flash this happen:
[09:27:04 57a4c2410720]:info1:$fastboot -s devicename erase boot ||
[09:27:04 57a4c2410720]:info2:Erasing 'boot' FAILED (remote: 'Erase is not allowed in Lock State')
[09:27:04 57a4c2410720]:info2:fastboot: error: Command failed
[09:27:04 57a4c2410720]:info1:"Erase boot error"
[09:27:04 57a4c2410720]:begin FlashDone
[09:27:04 57a4c2410720]:error:Erasing 'boot' FAILED (remote: 'Erase is not allowed in Lock State')"
2 - So i tried to use Mi Flash Unlock, it didn't work and was showing "add your account in miui's settings developer options mi unlock status". the problem is that it all requires some prerequisite settings done already in the device (Mobile phone) when the only thing I can do it's acess fastboot screen. (Phone has never been unlocked before)

3 - I found another Mi app = Mi Flash Pro, same thing, it contais Fastboot to EDL Tool, but is no longer available by xiaomi.
4 - I also tried to install OrangeFox recovery and TWRP by CLI but it also failed cause is not allowed in lock state....
So, what can i do to save my phone when it's off and i cant acess anything right now?
(I even tried opening it and removing the battery)
Anyone can help me, pls !?

It is still locked or you don't the false, false, false? After oem info it said failed and then try flashing twrp makes no sense
Reflash stock fastboot rom with miflash or use a deep flash cable. And then unlock it correctly
If nothing works you have to open your device and use testpoint method.
really nothing works.
miFlash gives me an error in red.
I already tried with the flash cable qualcomm but the phone when it vibrates it displays the MI logo and is off.
I tried recovery twrp.img but still the same error message
Method MiFlash:
Rom FASTBOOT for Redmi 4 prime: markw_global_images_V8.5.4.0.MBEMIED_20170925.0000.00_6.0_global
------------------

Fastboot method won't work as your bootloader is locked. Try with deep flash cable or test point method.
Trying to flash twrp also not gonna work.

I tried the deep flash cable:
click on the + and - button of the volume
plug in the phone and click on the button of the deep flash cable until the phone vibrates ... except that ... when it vibrates it displays the MI logo and ends ... but it is visible on the manager peripheral

You installed adb and fastboot?
If you open the flash all .bat file from the images folder and then plug your phone into PC , does it flash?

Dude , close MiFlash and open flash all.bat by double clicking . Then plug your phone.
The same problem
Then install adb and fastboot drivers , try XiaomiTool or unlock your bootloader.
You are clearly doing something wrong.

I think i said it very clear. You either download XiaomiTool with a simple google search , either you unlock your booloader. If the first does not work , try the second.
Normally , you don't really need to unlock the bootloader , but there are some special cases.

Nokia X6 Stuck in Download Mode

Hello, hope you can help.
I have a Nokia X6 (TA 1099) that somehow got stuck in Download Mode (see attached pictures)
I have tried the Vol Down plus Power to exit Download Mode, also tried various other combinations, but no luck.
When I plug the phone into USB it does show up as Fastboot Device and I can use the fastboot cmd with reboot to make it restart, but it stays in Download Mode.
I tried installing the OST LA tool and it made the phone display some more details on screen (see attached picture), however it wouldn't get as far as to attempt loading a new image. (says software tool needs update)
Thanks,
Jake

Very nice guide, thanks.
Unfortunately I get an error message saying: FAILED (remote: 'Flashing is not allowed in Lock State')
Then I tried the fastboot flashing unlock and unlock_critical but that just resulted in error message: FAILED (remote: 'Flashing Unlock is not allowed')
However after trying a fastboot --set-active=b and rebooting it made the phone come back from the Download Mode brick telling me something is corrupted and asking to restore to factory. I chose to restore to factory and it appears the phone is now unbricked and I just need to install everything again.
Thanks for your helpful suggestions.

Nah, it's my wife's phone, I'm not sure how she managed to get it stuck in Download Mode, but I suspect maybe the case she was using caused the buttons to get stuck or something.
It was --set-active=b I used.

I had the same issue with my 6.1 plus (TA 1116) when it suddenly showed me the screen asking for a factory wipe & that my data was corrupt. The phone entered download mode and I let the battery discharge overnight. Today after following the steps Jake took, the phone got out of download mode and I did a factory reset, the phone is working ok now.

I just had a similar issue myself. If the above doesn't work, you can try the following as it's what got my phone back up and running.
From Fastboot, type the following > fastboot getvar current-slot
Once you know which slot you're current on, switch slots > fastboot --set-active=a/b (whichever is the opposite of the current slot you're on)
example: if you're on slot a , you'll type > fastboot --set-active=b

Amazing, thank you. :good: I've spent days on this and never found your suggestion until now. Changed to slot 'b' and phone booted up normally!
Now I just to carefully "repair" slot 'a'.

Awesome, I'm glad it worked!
I'm preparing to use EDL Mode to reflash slot a myself, just trying to determine how the partitions (slot a & b) will be affected when I do. No point in trying to set my phone up any further if EDL wipes/reflashes all partitions/slots a & b during the process.
contact my neighborhood administration focus approved by oneplus ,they told mi undoubtedly motherboard broken without checking and the expense of substitution motherboard cost more than exchange estimation of the oneplus 6,they recommend mi to get another new oneplus telephone. -

It shows up whenever I try to reboot or go to recovery mode. Nothing works now and USB cannot be recognized except for Fastboot but it didn't help me with booting or flashing anything.
