Honor 5X Camera functions, features, effects

The honor 5X is equipped with a 5 MP front camera and a 13 MP rear camera, as well as a BSI camera sensor and an F2.0 aperture, which ensures adequate amount of light.
The EMUI makes the best use of the camera with the following functions.
Upon opening the camera app, we see the camera screen, which displays five main functions:
- Good food mode
- Beauty mode
- Take a photo
- Record video
- Time-lapse **mode
There are also nine special effects. These are:
- Valencia

- Sentimental

On clicking the menu on the top right corner the following options are present:

XML apply method ​1.Install the camera apk from above link and give all permissions
2.Download the XML and move it to➤ Internal Storage>ConfigsSettings8.3
3.Open the camera and Double tap near the shutter button twice(black area)
4.Select the XTra PureView config and restore
5.Then open camera again and done!
Important NOTES​1.Use MAIN mode for default all scenarios
2.Use DAY and NIGHT consecutively for time to time based scenarios
3.USE color mode for boosted color
4.AUX mode is for auxiliary cameras [Works in Samsung /Xiaomi]
5.Changing between modes may be a bit slow sometimes

The camera apk u gave is on website I know,But the camera apk I uploaded is a fixed version with tweak.
So I uploaded it again.

I downloaded again and the files are still identical.
I compared apk files using Total Commander.

Turn off the lib button.

Other than that, first shots look very very promising.
Edit: Okay after a few shots, worser than stock app sadly.

I click on take a photo but the photo dont get saved

My gcam 8.7 overexposes in high contrast situations.. Of course I can touch the screen on the brightest spot and then the exposure comes down, but in street photography I usually dont have the time to do this.. It almost feels like the camera raises the contrast when in high contrast situations - should it not be the opposite? Even the raw files get blown out..
Feels like the whole gcam concept is only focused on getting good shadows, when in reality its the highlights that is the absolutely most important to NOT overexpose..
Is there an XML file that I can download that fixes this? Or is there some kind of setting to get the highlights to not be blown out in high contrast images? Is there something I can change in the "developer settings"?
I just wish there was a way so set gcam to constant underexposure.. But I cannot find such settings anywhere..

BSG_MGC_8.7 + Xtra Film Stable causes all my photos taken to appear black/dark (I'm bad at camera terms or whatnot) after using both the Beta or Stable XML File.
