Hello, my daughter has forgotten the screen unlock code on her Huawei P Smart. I want to bypass the screen lock without losing data because the cell phone contains all my daughter's school documents and pictures for her project work. Tried a lot with dr.fone software and others but need a solution so I can unlock the screen and keep data without USB debugging because it can't be activated. Would be very grateful if someone has an idea Thanks

Hi, Did you ever get the phone unlocked and the data recovered? I have a similar problem with my daughters Y7P and I can't seem to find a solution that keeps the data and openes the phone.

I have a former coworker who is foreign, who has me help him with tech stuff among other things. Today he asked me to fix his sister's tablet, a Galaxy Tab A (sm-t580) which wasn't functioning correctly.
understandably, the tablet had its language set for their native language and due to the issues it was having we could not get the language changed so i could work on the tablet properly. The next best course of action was to reset the tablet. so I did.
now comes the issue: my friend and his family primarily use iOS devices, bought the tablet used and never set up their own google account on the device.
So it is FRP locked and nobody knows the necessary account info.
At first I told him that the tablet was useless now, but after a little digging saw that this was something i might be able to get around and fix for him.
Digging further, all I found was conflicting or missing instructions on how to properly do this........
A boot into recovery mode reveals that the current firmware on the device is T580UEU4CSC1
this means that the device has android 8.1 on it and the information i could gather seems to indicated that FRP bypass is more difficult on android 7 and later, but that is where the info seems to dry up. I couldn't find anything specific on what exactly i need to do to get it working again, or whether specific firmware/files needs to be used on this device.
Would really appreciate any info or direction you could provide on this. Thanks.
It has become super hard to bypass FRP on Samsung devices (Not even Combonation files work anymore), If you can prove that you purchased it you can send it back to Samsung and they can unlock it. You're only other option is buying a Octoplus/Jtag/Riff box and using the FRP unlock option on the PC software.

On some devices yes combo files work but not on ALL devices so maybe on this particular device that works.
Looking for some help, my kid's phone that they had in HS was locked with a password. She is in college now and recently found out that a friend passed and she asked help to get in the phone to get the photos since she forgot the password "it was so long ago".
We've tried Samsung unlock but she never enabled the remote unlock. Have the gmail it was tied to but back up wasn't turned on. I've seen some mention using twrp to fix it but not sure how to do it if not sure if debug is on or not. Been out of the flashing game for a while, since my s5/s3 needed it.
The phone is auto connecting to Wi-Fi. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I want to avoid explaining the whole story behind why I try do unlock the Samsung s10 screen lock - no crime behind. In short: my best friend died and his family ask me to unlock the phone for them. I'm a total noob which is related to rooting phones, modify etc. As I know the phone is not rooted, no knowledge if mtp was enabled, USB Debugging I'm pretty sure also was disabled.
I tried to use " Pattern Password Disable zip " to run from sd-card but no luck. I do not want do factory default as they would like to access the data on the phone. I attach some info from the recovery mode.
Much appreciated for any advice how to proceed to unlock the screen.
If the phone is completely stock (no twrp, no usb debug etc) I'm pretty sure there is no way to disable the lockscreen PIN

USB debug is off, twrp also not. Is there at least a chance to get the data back ? Nothing can be installed via the sd-card ?

Unfortunately i dont think so and without enabling debugging its gonna make everything way tricky. Let do some searching just remember without root or custom recovery its most luckly a dead end. a screen lock is meant to everything in untill unlocked but dont lose hope Ill be replying to soon with results

No. You can try to just turn it on and connect it to the PC via USB and check if the phone grants his memory access to the PC. But I highly doubt since it needs authorization and to do so you must unlock it. I'm sorry but I think you are probably screwed. If there's a way to disable the screen unlock it's an Android's security bug so it is gonna be extremely tricky/hard to exploit and very very few people might know that. Android has reached a really good level of security so you probably won't be able to get any data back.

They will probably ask you to have USB Debug enabled and such, so it is not gonna work, sorry.
Do you have an access to the samsung account and the password of it ?
You have the ability to unlock the phone from the Samsung Account from your pc but you have to log in for that

No I don't.
Then only thing what I have is wi-fi connectivity between router and the locked phone, enabled nic.
My take, Friend, is if someone wanted others to have access they wouldn't have password protected it or would have put on an unlocked medium.
This thread creeps me out to put it politely.

yes true. But friend died and family want desperate access to it.
Im thinking if phone is on the same wifi - I can generate an apk file in metasploit. Question how to put it on the phone without user interaction ?? hmm
any suggestions
also he was not so clever to enable usb deb. or any custom recovery. so I try my best to get access to it.

Hey Everyone,
I have been bashing my head against a wall trying to get this phone unlocked, a friend has passed away and no one knows his PSW. The phone houses information that will help the family.
What I have been able to get access to over the course of time i have spent with all devices.
Emails, laptops, Samsung account.
He was good with securing his passwords but I was able to get through with some persistence.
The phone is linked to his Samsung account and when i go onto: https://findmymobile.samsung.com/
i see it however when i try to see any options I get the following:
"Your service provider doesn't support the Find My Mobile service on your phone.
If you've lost a device, you can find it with SmartThings Find in the SmartThings app.
SmartThings Find is only supported on devices with Android O or higher."
smart things gives me absolutely nothing. I tried to bypass the service provider by spoofing the wifi from his home and got him connected but that has given me no further progress.
I also checked if he had developer options on so i could ADB into the phone but again no luck with that. I am down to "3 attempts left" with no option to reset password.
Any help would be super appreciated.
Also have an iPad that i cant figure out the password to but I am guessing that thing is done, and the data cannot be removed from it.

one of the forum members was able to attempt to assist but we did not get far I have not seen a message like this in the samsung account ever and yet it always pops up . we reflashed the phone to a ATT variant and attempted to see if it can be found on that network and we got the same results.
I feel like I am between a rock and a hard place I would love to help the family but I know within 3 attempts the phone will be wiped.
If anyone has any other ideas I am all ears.

I hope this is not a stupid question but I don't have any other way to connect my laptop to internet other than my phone's hotspot and I can't get any other way of getting internet right now and I am getting "Unkown error 1004" on the new version of mi unlock and a similar error in old one something like "couldn't unlock -1"
so does that mean I need to be connected to the internet while clicking on unlock or is it something else and it is obvious that I can't use internet when my phone is on fastboot.

I have already searched and after doing all of that I came here because everyone unlocked it and I just want to know if anyone tried to unlock it after signing in and then disconnecting to internet because that's what my situation is and just so you know I have installed usb drivers and did all necessary steps needed for my device and I hope I am not annoying you or anything like that it's just that I tried everything and only thing that seems to be missing is internet after signing in.
U must have sim internet connection, then developer option and then sign in. In Fastboot Mode you don't need internet on your phone

I am not talking about internet connection in phone when I am on fastboot I am talking about internet connection on my computer for mi unlock.So this is what I am doing I using my phone's hotspot to sign to mi unlock and then I switched off my phone and get to fastboot mode while I am already signed in mi unlock but no internet connection at this point and I can see my phone getting detected but when I try to unlock it I get that error.So when you unlocked your bootloader did your PC had active internet connection that's all I want to know and also that you need it for the unlock process and as I said earlier I have done all the things needed to be done on my phone so that's not really a problem.

Seriously this is ridiculous why Xiaomi just put so many roadblocks ok I get it but if they needed to verify my device why can't they just do it beforehand and let me unlock it and yeah you may think it's not a big issue but not everyone has multiple source of internet for me it's just my phone and it's not possible for me to get it from somewhere else either.I wanted to unlock it to get a stable rom doesn't matter if it has fancy stuff or not because Miui crash like everyday when I am using web I just wanted stability but no Xiaomi won't give stability neither they would allow me change my situation without stupid nonsense like this.Sorry I was frustrated from this whole mess it was annoying spent a day to do this but turned out to be this stupid issue.

did you ever find a solution to this? most people direct this question to unknown error -1... but it seems that unknown error 1004 is quite different. seriously thinking on returning my phone. it's not that they put roadblocks, they're just... messy.
