Hello guys
I've installed Chinese Marshmallow update on my p8 lite ale_l21
the stock camera includes Light painting mode ( it was awesome ),
but i couldn't continue with that
firmware because it 70% based on Chinese language , also it does not support google play services ..
So i flashed my p8 lie and upgraded to euro marshmallow , i found this update not includes light painting camera or drive mode ( which has been included in Chinese marshmallow) ,,
I think if we could port (camera app) from the Chinese marshmallow for p8 lite we can flash it to p8 lite runs euro marshmallow via adb or root
Any developer can port it for us ?

You actually replied to your own post after 12 minutes because no one else replied? lol
You better have some more patience. I'm using the Chinese Firmware as well and I removed all the unavailable Huawei Stuff and also removed the Huawei start and exchanged it with nova launcher prime. Also, I flashed the Gapps so Play Store is actually working. There's no more chinese stuff that shows up, that's why you don't have to wait for a port and if you insist on the port, except for begging for it you could just do it yourself.

Hi, i want to install huawei p8 lite as you did without chines language but need help as i m not pro in doing... but ill follow your guide if you could let me have step by step... really appreciated.

Okay so what is your Firmware Version and are you rooted and is your bootloader unlocked?

You can try sokkoban's Modded B574 Rom, it has light painting feature with twrp pre-installed and rooted. Plus other advantages too

Anyone has ported light painting camera for other firmwares.
the pro mode can do the same, just use correct timing

After long time, I am here, I have a question, I have successfully enabled VOLTE on k4 note, i could make calls from dialer but video call option is not showing up on dialer any idea how to do that ? I was thinking to put miui8 dialer apk to install what you guy suggest??? Please help

how did you enabled VOLTE are you s208 build or any other methods to patch
well, 1st you need to downgrade firmware to S152 then Upgrade to S208 using recovery mode, It will enable VOLTE by default
Here is bugs in ROM
1. If you reset your pHone VOLTE will disappear
2. In call Logs Unknown No is comes up

I have rooted my huawei P8 following the instructions by Tecalote. His huawei SRKT tool is great! Yet I now tried quite a few call recording apps, and found none of them working on my P8.
Could anybody give me some suggestions? I've tried killer mobile and ACR and boldbeast and etc.

I know you like custom ROM but we have some people who like stock ROM wit some mods.
I use stock ROM and Magisk v15.3 and if you like stock ROM and Magisk and need call recorder this mods it's for you.
I create Call recorder for Emui 4.x.x-8.x.x
Yes I know some people added Call Recorder manual using Root Explorer or other app but for me this method it's faster and better.
We don't have now Emui 8.x.x but this mode it's create from file Huawei Mate 10 Pro and in future I update using stock file from China Oreo if this mode don't be work correctly.

You need only Magisk 15.x to work correctly
I have B397 , Magisk 15.3 and Call Recorder for Emui 5.x.x and it's work that same when you copy manual file to system/app.

Hi Guys, after rooting my phone I couldt find anything good to activate the call recording.
Then I found this way:
1. To root your phone fallow this tutorial: HERE
2. Copy file from this post to your phone and install in Magisk: HERE
Works 100%
