Little appreciation to the designer. - LG V60 ThinQ Real Life Review

Little appreciation to Lg designer, they deliberately put the switches little lower side for design continuity. I measure the case button position & they are exactly on v60 from bottom to button position.
They did this so user memory mussel won't get confuse.
On this gap

this is where 3rd mic seated. When i 1st get my DS i was upset they didn't keep a hole in their like cheap case/cove.
But when i saw the button position i discover this also. They did this way because the person who hold the phone during video recording will get much clear voice.

Just bought one of these for $280 open box brand new. This is surreal at this price. I guess people are worried about software updates but for the money who cares lol. What a freak in nice phone!

I've broken a key!!

Oops.. so I was sat today talking to friends waiting for a reply via text and had my phone in my hand with it slid out and I I was just playing with the keys with the end of my nails and caught my nail on the right softkey button. (the one that'd open Contacts) and now its kind of poking up at an angle and won't go back down! Tried to take photos of it but the macro on my camera isn't too good!

Any ideas what I can do? I never use this button so if there's a fix for it that'll keep it down but not as usable as the other keys, it'll do. It doesn't catch when I close the slide, but its annoying me loads!
I dont want to use my insurance because it'll just mean me not having a phone for ages, etc.
*slaps self for idiocy*

some super glue perhaps?

Something interesting about the Venue Pro hardware

Pretty cool if I have to say so myself. So... who is willing to tear down this phone?
What are we looking at besides your excessively shiny hat?

I have reasons to believe that the Venue Pro has something magnetic in it. Don't you see the hanging ring?
Ahh, now I get it. I thought that was some carry-loop or something, was hard to tell. Could be the digital compass or something?
I'm fairly certain that the magnet is used to secure the slider for the screen.
when i set my DVP down the other day it picked up my wife's earring. my first thought was that maybe the spinning vibration mechanism inside is magnetic.
better keep my phone away from my 3 1/2" floppy disk collection!

[INFO] It's Here! (Pics)

This thing is awesome. Sorry for the bad pics I just took them quick as I'm going to go play with this! Build quality is outstanding, zero flex on the back from my unit. It's incredibly fast and seems like a really premium unit.

Congrats.....you bastard.
Looks like the box took a bit of a beating. Glad the unit's good and working nicely. Have fun, try not to gloat TOO much.
I find the fact that the weather widget display is "Not Available" humorously apt for the current ordering situation.
You might want to blank out the serial number in the pics bud. If you DO get a chance to get the keyboard dock cheaper they will ask for that, and if everyone knows your code... someone might use it and you'll be screwed. Plus warranty claims etc.

After seeing the EVO 4GLTE bend. Coming over to Sammy...

May seem like a simple/silly thread to some but seeing this, this morning has sold me on the GS3. Thats just from phones sitting in people's pockets. My 3D's bezel is bent 10 ways from hell too. I even had to take the bezel off, bend it "straight", and glue it back on myself. For such an expensive item that is used 24/7/365. I guess its the nature of the aluminum beast. You could always bend it back into place but I expect some better build quality IMO.
Pluuuusssss. Maybe it is just me but it seems that the more "mature" crowd is over on this side. I ask questions here. I get quick straight forward answers. Not a bunch of childish replies/comments.
Cant wait for these to show up in brick and mortars soon!

The Honor 8 Pro comes with Google Cardboard, here are some pictures

The Honor 8 Pro's box can be converted into a VR headset. Here is what it looks like.

You forgot to show how the telephone needs to be placed at the bottom of the box, which makes it impossible to operate when you put the cardboard with the lenses on top of it.
Also, I found it impossible to keep the lenses close enough to the eyes to have a sort of immersive 3D view.
All in all a ridiculous gimmick. I'd rather have a nice phone cover or better quality earphones in the box than this stupid gimmicky thing.
will not be much of comfort tho,
