You don't need to rename it to .zip. it will flash in recovery fine as an .apk file.

if you haven't "Patched the app" with any tool theres no need to remove odex files.
only time i use "patch app is to remove ads because i really think ads are worst thing that can be in a app"
but make sure you delete something on your sdcard (not necessary file) sometimes it can be to little storage dependin on the app requirements

is that specific app you wanted to install patched (from an earlier version) if so go to /data/app/ and look for the app and it will most likely have a .odex file in it,
since i hope this isn't for "piracy" i'm helping you.

Working
BTW why does /system/app/ have odex files? And whats the difference between odex and apk files?
Sorry I'm still kind of a noob :E

system/app/ has odex files in it because its standard in stock firmwares released by samsung
the difference is that all necesarry data lies in .odex files (in system/app/)
but it can be Deodexed but it will be slightly slower (not much) but as it needs to read the data inside the apk instead of odex file
dont delete any odex file in system app as it will cause the app to crash

I'm sure it works. Because it's a GUI to the bootimg.exe tool (available for free from Github), which is a modification of the bootimg.py tool (available for free from another Github). The internet is full of "content gateways" where someone wastes their talent on building a do-nothing program instead of something useful, like a tool that allows easy repartitioning/editing of a mmcblk0.raw image.
bootimg.exe --unpack-bootimg boot.img

Sadly for some reason it requires the image being unpacked to be named "boot.img", when it's fully capable of unpacking any "ANDROID!" boot image for both Mediatek and Qualcomm.
I've used it to unpack boot and recovery for a Huawei Y536A1, boot factory laf recovery for a LGL16C, boot dfs dkernel recovery for an Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7". I've never seen it fail to unpack a boot image yet.

You are in the wrong path!

Oh this is embarrassing
Maybe one last question, as I did a lot of version back and forth and I am not able just to flash the bootloader or/and modem file of 19s, I would like to do a clean install of the recovery.
So if I do factory reset with data and cache and start the instalation this will be complete clean?
Or should I delete some files or folders which are beside the sdcard folder, too?

Lol , I made a factory reset and flashed the modified update.zip and now I lost my baseband. What should I do now, I don't really want to use my backup because of the wrong modem version...

Google Camera (gcam) for the Galaxy A20

You can install Google Camera on the A20 by following this procedure.
1. Boot into recovery and install the gcam enabler zip.
View attachment 1566294669_C2API_enabler_v1500.zip (flash this zip)
2. Reboot and decompress and install the Exynos 7870 gcam apk
View attachment 1566290432_Google_Camera_f4520820-exynos-7870.zip ( do not flash this zip)
3. Investigate the features.
I set panorama to low resolution to make it faster.
For a Better Camera go here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-a20/themes/google-camera-apk-galaxya20-t4049341
The Photo Sphere and Panorama work very well.
You have to move the camera extremely slowly for the lens blur

Have you gone through these steps from here?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80028118&postcount=2
To ensure that data is not encrypted so as to enable data to be backed up follow these steps
8. Boot the A20 into TWRP and mount everything that you can.
9. Format Data
10. Flash this zip Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_08.18.2019.zip
11. Reboot into Recovery. It will reboot into download mode.
12. On the pc repeat step 7.
13. Reboot phone and re-enter all data.
14. Reboot into Recovery.
15. Backup Data.
16. You can now restore after any crash, but you may need to forget your wifi and go back in to it.

why i need this file? just to report the kernel becausecthe old one (for lineage-17.1 is broking and cause bootloop)

for shrp you should extract recovery.zip first then flash the first zip with high size because there is 2 zip (1-shrp and addons / 2- addons only without shrp)
