Selecting the right head need unit Help please PX6 or 8257 or Unisoc 7862 - Android Head-Units

Can I get some advice please
I got a basic android headunit years ago and not long after it became very laggy even with basic factory settings so i dint want it to happen again?
Looking to get at least a 4gb+64gb version
The main concern is reliability for as long as possible (as i understand as android updates certain units become obsolete)
But mainly DSP Quality and highest power RCA output for the amplifiers
Plus android auto and apple carplay for phone calls and GPS maps
It will be used in a weekend cruiser car with a old school set up of 2x12" subs and 2 sets of splits with 2 x descent RCA input style amplifiers
These are the models i have come across but not sure if or which one is best choice or should i consider something else?

7862 > px6 (11500 benchmark)> 8257 (9000) > px5 (4000)
Benchmark is in brackets. Can't find benchmark for 7862 but it is much better.

Specifically an FYT 7862UIS, such as Mekede/Navifly sell, but ask for screenshots of the system info first after reading the forums and knowing the differences.
After recently purchasing a FYT type 116 sold by "mekede", I would not go back to MTCD type.

MTCx units are best if one plans to run the Malaysk ROM which frankly blows any firmware out of the water.

Need help to choose android Head Unit

Hello,
I need some help with choosing proper android HU.
I have a VW Sharan '06 with original MFD headunit, 2 din unit, looks like this:

it have GPS navi, FM/AM radio with perfect FM receiving...
it is 2din HU, so i'm looking for unit to fit in there.
From new unit I want to have:
- 7" LCD
- rotating button for volume adjustment (not "volume up" and "volume down" buttons)
- rear view camera input (as I see, all unit have this option, I already have camera (not original) attached to original HU)
- DAB+ radio (i see I need aditional receiver to buy)
- Dashcam - to start recording avtomatic when I start car/turn headunit on, and stop recording when I turn off HU. If it possible, to store recording on SD card or USB drive, so I can take it out and look video on PC or other device.
- good radio reception with working RDS function (for classic FM analog radio)
- good sound ( already have added amp to my car an changed OEM speakers with better aftermarket speakers, only two speakers in trunk are conencted to HU, I see on forum the amp chip can be changed - no probem, I have tools and skills to do that)
- video output for aditional monitor for rear passangers (I have two 8" LCD mounted on driver an passanger headrest, so kids can watch a cartoons on longer journey while I can drive in peace  ). It is posoble to have different content on HU (navigation+playing FM radio), while on external LCD playin video (cartoons) for kids? No need for extra audio source for rear video, because kids don't have headphones.
- as I look, some of HU offers a TPMS monitoring. I would like to have this to if is possible, but is not necessary.
- steering wheel control ( is CAN bus comunication between ooem HU and SWC)
Original HU showing some data on dashoard display, eg. selected FM station, number of track played, and showing direction when using navigation. Is this also possible with android unit? HU an dashboard using CAN bus connection.
Other stuff, like GPS navigation, BT calls, Wi-Fi, USB... all unit have this.
I plan to have this car for 5 to 6 years, so I hope the HU will work so long
I find so far:
Pumpkin HU
SKU: AE0273B
4GB RAM, Android 8, 8 core CPU, 32GB ROM they claim the startup(warm time) time is 1sec - is this true?
Joying HU
JY-UM135N2D
2GB RAM
only 2GB - is this enough, intel atom x3 processor, 32GB ROM?
SMARTECH
model H707A7T832-B
2GB RAM, 32GB ROM, Octa-core Cortex Allwinner T8, android 7.1
HIZPO
model: AD717009
2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, android 7.1, Rockchip 3188 Cortex A9 Quad core
This one have DVD drive (can be useful)
I cant paste links, becouse i'm new user, so forum don't let me to put links in thread.
It is not need to be some of this 4 unit I found, if someone have suggestion for other unit... please advice
i'm sorry for my bad english, but I hope you will undestrand what I mean

Android Head Unit choice for Skoda Octavia 2

Hi,
I would like to install an Android head unit to replace the Swing car radio in my Skoda Octavia 2.
I hesitate between 3 models:
-LJHANG PX6 7" 4/32Go is PX6 a good choice compared PX5 ?
-ZNY PX5 8" 4/32Go PX5 but 8" screen
-SilverStrong PX5 8" 4/32Go with DSP , is DSP a good value ?
Thank you for your help.
After some reading online I choosed Eunavi-WG9018S model, you can find it on AliExpress.
I'm using it for almost a month now and it's plug and play with integrated canbus which works very good - a lot of car system information displayed + steering wheel controls and OEM parking sensors.
GPS is very accurate, I left the antenna in the dashboard behind the unit and no problem with the signal.
Audio is OK, I used mostly with Spotify and the sound is OK. Being Android we have a lot of option in matter of players and equilazers.
PS: I own an Passat B7, but both your and mine are VAG cars so the wiring is similar.
Hi,
On sunday i installed on my Octavia 2 an Isudar NA02A53VW0907 (PX5 4/43GB 9'' ) on Aliexpress store (11/11 Sale).
previously i own an Ownice C200, until this summer when the unit stop working, some overheat problem..
Base only on experience of these days, it's miles better than Ownice..
I need to find some calibration for colour, it's washed..

Hello,
I join your thread for my Skoda Yeti 2015.
@ludz179: did you find a head unit?
@aurelv: I'm interested by your Eunavi-WG9018S model. Did you confirm that all is working fine (OEM reverse sensor, steering wheel controls...)?
I have some other questions:
- did you know if FastBoot is supported?
- I don't see if SDcard slot is on front?
- what do you think about the quality of the screen (reflection, brightness ...)?
- how does it fit into the dashboard? Would you have a picture?
- do you face particular problems (bug, overheating, crash, reboot)?
Did you confirm that you have not added anything in the connectivity between the original socket and the one provided with the Eunavi?
I have this socket:

This really depends on whether you plan to mod the unit. Even the most expensive Android Head units will lack heavily in sound quality, internet speed, mic and handsfree quality, user interface and configurability and units with less than 4Gb RAM will also struggle with performance under the default factory setup.
However, if you are prepared to "hack" it, then here is what I's recommend:
Any Rockchip based head units, MCU type MTCx - MCU type is key here. PX6 models are top performers then going down to PX5 and PX30. Make sure the internal amplifier is TDA7850, nothing else.
Any MediaTek based unit (best option on top), type:
YT9218D
YT9218x
YT9216Bxx
YT9216Bx
YT9217C
YT9216C
YT216B or YT9217B
Stay away from YT9213A or any YT9213Ax units
MTCx units support Malaysk MOD - all in one mod you need
MediaTek units are much cheaper and can run super mods in my signature.
Here's how you see MCU type (you can ask sellers to show you this screen before purchasing). Look for MTCB, MTCD, MTCE etc.

For MediaTek units, ask for the System Info screen:
If you plan to connect the head unit to an external car sound system, then go with Qualcomm SnapDragon units. They can be pricey, don't offer that much in terms of options but are very good performers in terms of computing power. Look for SnapDragon SD625 as an example.
Hope this helps.

Teyes CC2 Wrangler JKU issues

Hello all, I recently purchased a TEYES CC2L Plus for my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JKU. I followed the instructions on installing the unit and everything seemed to work until I noticed some problems with my audio and Bluetooth connectivity. First, my phone pairs and connects to the TEYES without any issues however, it doesn’t play any audio. Most of the time I would have to turn the car off and on again a couple times for the phone to pair again to the unit then finally get it to play audio. Now moving on the the next problem, while playing music I notified my upgraded alpine audio (factory purchased upgrade) subwoofer in the trunk isn’t working. Music does play however, there is no sound coming from the sub. I was wondering if any of y’all happened to have any similar problems or potential fixes that might work. I contacted TEYES using their provided what’s app number but they were no help whatsoever.

The jeep's Alpine system (and I have a 2017 Rubicon with alpine) is a bit unique in that it is not just an amplifier but also a sound processor. The amp is controlled through can bus. They have done it this way so that the computer can adjust the sound and gain of the amp depending on whether or not you have your top on or top off.
The alpine amp is connected to the head unit through speaker level outputs (not rca's) so your sub will not work if you have the equalizer adjustment on the head unit set to tune out some bass. But even with the head unit's bass set to full the sub still sounds quite lacking.
Some people have had better success by switching out the supplied can bus box with a PAC can bus box from pac audio. It is alpine compatible but since only two inputs are used from the head unit to the amp you will lose front to rear fade ability.

I just ended up ripping out the alpine sub and amp and went all aftermarket
Thank you for the response! Just out of curiosity what aftermarket sub and amp did you end up going with?

I built my own. Dual 12" at 1200watts(rms). The in-floor sub has since been removed and I use the space for tow straps and winch accessories.

Junsun V1 Plus For Opel Mokka 2013 Android Auto

Good morning, everyone.
I would like to buy this product to replace my car radio. It is a 2013 Opel Mokka with navigation and rear view camera already installed (Navi 600).

I had a look on the forum and found the following product:
Junsun V1 Pro For Opel Mokka 2012 - 2016 Android autoradio sistema di auto intelligente lettori video auto CarPlay Android Auto GPS Navigation No 2 din 2din DVD
I would opt for the higher-performance version, i.e. the V1 Plus (8GB-256GB) version (do you have any suggestions on this, or do I risk just wasting money because, for example, the version with 6 gb ram is already good?)
I have a few questions about this, and if any of you can answer just one of them I would be very grateful:
- Can I use the gps receiver included in my car without having to install a new one?
- is the system plug and play or do I need to make some modifications so that I have to do some welding?
- can i use the rear view camera already installed without having to install a new one? Are video adapters required?
this is the first time I've done such an operation, I would be very grateful for feedback also on other products like this. Thanks

It may be possible your cars antenna supports GPS. This can be connected to the new head unit. Adapters may be required. I don't think your car has a dedicated GPS receiver as a separate box.

Because your car already has a navigation unit and the Junsun is to replace a simple radio I don't expect plug and play:
I expect you need to re-pin the harness delivery by Junsun or buy a compatible one. Soldering is not what's usually done for car usage (see linked thread below).

That should be possible but adapters are required. Maybe even a step-down-converter because some OEM cams running with 6V instead of 12V.
Junsun expects you don't have a camera yet and you will install an aftermarket camera.

Please check this thread. It's for another car but gives you an idea what kind of steps had to be done:
Junsun V1 MTK8259 - the adapter battle (Kia Ceed Jd) / OEM camera usage / reference thread
I bought the Junsun V1 head unit but my Kia Ceed JD had a OEM nav unit which isn't directly compatible to Junsun V1. So I re-wired the wiring harness based on the pins description of my original OEM navigation unit. I'm only modifying the wiring...
