Hi guys, i've a SE X8, and i'm from argentina, so i have an american kernel (E15a), and i would like to give a try to LinuxDX or the Cyanogen Kernel, but i'm a bit worried, because those kernels are for e15i/x8i, and not for x8a, or i'm wrong? Should i take the risk? I've been loocking on different threads, but i couldn't find nothing about this. Thank You!

Just flash 015 baseband and it should be ok

You can see title with tag X8/W8 ROM in the development so sure you can

W8 can be flashed with any rom available for x8... No worries about it...
w8 and x8
just a tag walkman and xperia only

Yes it can be flashed, you can do it on your own by going through the user manual!!

Are you rooted? unlock or locked bootloader??? if rooted just go into xrecovery and install zip..
Yes rooted and lock (I guess I'm lock).. I try it by going to Xrecovery mode but it appears that ONLY XPERIA S APPS are installed to my phone..

The problem is the screen Security doesn't show the option Encrypt Phone, even after I have set the password...
