Rooting android turned out really good for me but sometimes the fast charging doesn't seem to work like before it doesn't even show fast charging logo sometimes.

Just a newbie in android and got my s7 edge because of the great reviews.
Finally managed to root it and install KryxOs Custom ROM and it really did worked great! Been running it for a week but then last night while im playing some games it suddenly crashes and feels like its overheating and then suddenly the screen went black. I did every combo buttons just to get to download mode but nothing happened just occational blinks on the touchpad and the notification above the screen. Already did charge it overnight just to make sure it didnt just drain its battery. Do i have a defective phone?
i have weird issue with my redmi 2 prime i plug the charge and leave the phone charging it charges to 75% and after that the notification light is gone and the phone stops charging and i tried to disconnect and connect back and then it starts charging again ,, this is getting annoying any solution??
Me also but it was solved by using Customs ROMs or using Greenify or Amplify
I also have same problem.. Suggest me something if u find a solution for it.

If it's cool it will charge
Happened to me when weather temperature is very high
me also got this issue
i also got this issue but i finally come to know that it is due to high temperature. After updating to 8.2.1 redmi devices start getting hot very soon.

i had this problem when i was using MiUI rom, i must switch my phone's power to off for it to charge normally. i've switched across to another custom ROMs and it's working just fine, just my personal experience!

Does anyone else have the issue that the Le pro becomes really slow as soon as it's charging?
Feels like cpu throttling.
I'm running on the latest Lineage update.
I`m on Stock with Last Update and have the same Issue its noticeable slower on the charge.
It happend to me on old cydras rom. I don't know if is from the rom or just the hardware but it dissapeared. I'm on turbo rom and works fine. Be patience few weeks. If still does that change the rom. The phone may have some protection when overheats and cuts the cpu power to cool down. When charging temperature rise and if doing something with the cpu or gpu that rise temperature even more it automaticaly stops to cool down. It happens to me when playing games and charging phone.
That also happened (and still does) to me, the fix is exactly what you said @motanel_pufos, just let the phone cooldown a bit, because when it gets warm the cpu will indeed cut it's usage... Give it 10-15 minutes to get cool enough and enjoy your experience again
The problem is that the phone will be slow from the moment you plug in the charger. Even when it's cold..
Bumping this as the issue still occurs. Like mentioned above:, the moment I plug in my charger the phone is slow.
Is it better to report this as a bug to lineage?

can you turn off quick charge charhing in your rom??
I can't turn it off, and I shouldn't have to though ?
It's unbelievable slow when charging. Even my music interrupts while charging in the car.
Nobody else having this? I'm thinking of going back to stock ROM...
I have this issue as well. It seems like it's only been happening for the last month or two. I've been using AICP and Lineage roms and it has been happening on both of them.
I'm not sure if it is the heat from charging or the fact that the phone is sitting in the sun when it is connected to my car mount.

The worst thing is that my phone is garbage when it's in the car kit. It often goes so slow; even calls freeze up.
Is there anyone who knows how to reach lineage?
I used navigation with the phone in the car mount today. I did not plug in the charging cable. Everything worked great and there was no lag. So it looks like it is just the heat from charging.

Like I said; it only appears when you charge.
Let me use a small summary of how it happens:
1. Phone is cool and fast
2. I connect charger (phone is still cool)
3. Phone gets really slow (phone is still cool)
4. Phone is still slow (phone gets a bit warm)
5. I disconnect charger (phone is still warm)
6. Phone is fast again.
So it only appears when I connect the charger.
hello. after the update, sometimes the phone doesn't charge fast. normal and slow charge with cable or with wireless. if i reboot phone the charge come back fast. why this problem and is it solvable? thanks
Hello, when you go settings>device managment>battery>advances settings> the fast cable charging option is on or off? try to change from on to off or the opposite and restart your phone . might you have a custom rom that has that bug , or a custom kernel.
Hey guys, i have a problem with my nfc. It is not working on few custom roms (Havoc and siberia os). I have attached the logcat. The device maintainers cant seem to replicate the error. Can anyone tell me a solution? I really like havoc os and wish to install it
Update: Found out that the NFC detects cards but turns on and off when I bring near another NFC enabled phone. It also works on few custom ROMs like RR and treskmod but not in havoc os

I am expirencing also strange behavior with my NFC on LOS 17.1 microg oneplus 6T.
Sometimes it works sometimes not, don't mater if NFC is switched on in the tools bar.
I will test in the near future if other phones with NFC enabled are toggling my NFC functionality and will come back to you.

I have news to my NFC problem. I think that there are much more people to have it without knowing it.
I discovered with the help of reading out the log files that every time I was putting my oneplus6T to charge the NFC was working. I was able to reproduce this behaviour all the time having LineageOS 17.1 with microg.
At the moment I unplugged the phone from the charger it was not working anymore, but not always. Sometimes it worked after unplugging and sometimes not. So no reproduction for this situation.
Later I put my phone to stock OS with the Microsoft tool and updated the system to the newest version of stock OS.
And with the stock OS, I had the same problem! No NFC working as it should.
Here the same situation as with LOS17.1+microg:
Plugged into power charger NFC works every time.
By unplugging from power charger NFC works only sometimes.
Than I found this post about a Samsung S9 that loses NFC functionality if the battery level is under 70-80%.
So I charged my phone to 100% and unplugged the phone and NFC was working.
I waited till the phone had about 79% charge and NFC was also working.
Then at 78% charge the NFC was not working anymore.
So i charged it up to 80% again, unplugged the power adapter and NFC worked again.
This time it is working with 78% but from 77% away not anymore!
I have to test more to see a pattern correlated to the state of charge and working NFC.
I am not lucky in finding something in the internet but did someone know if the samsung S9 and the Oneplus6T have something in common regarding NFC that could explain this behaviour independent from the rom? Hardware or drivers?
