Stable and fast. The battery holds well. And there is nothing superfluous, very satisfied!

I can't tell about the battery life so far, but the ROM is running stable for 12 hours now.
For me the best thing is that it fixes REGRESSION-926 (see LineageOS Jira) for me - at least this ROM is respecting the .bt_nv.bin file and changes my Bluetooth MAC to something static.
The Wireless MAC is still wrong (wrong means: a different [but static] MAC than Cyanogen OS 13.1.5).
Compared with Lineage OS 14.1 I think the phone runs a little smoother.
Issues I found so far:
German translation "missing" - How can I contribute?
"Auto MTP enable" in the Nitrogen OS settings break Android Car (which needs) "Charge Only". Also the USB mode notification and USB mode setting in the developer settings are behaving strange.
The software navigation keys are shown by default, but the settings is disabled. After changing it once, the setting is refelecting the actual state correctly.

Over night with Airplane mode I lost 1% battery in 8 hours. Over the day it also seems good. With kipper it's always hard to say, because the screen consumes a lot of battery when I use the phone.
Another issue:
The FM radio app is not included. kipper has a built-it FM module.

This rom seems pretty smooth, I'm running it with Franco's r54 kernel. Is there any way to enable aptX Bluetooth in this rom? When I pair my phone to my car's headunit, the aptX indicator does not come on, and I cannot find the Bluetooth codec settings in the developer options.

First of all I wanted to thank you for your rom, congratulations. I'm just experiencing problems with loading time. I did the tests and it loads below 1000 mha even with the screen off. Would it also be possible to add a charge speed controller?

Short feedback : Camera working but not in third party apps like bacon camera or telegram inbuilt camera.GPS fix is fast but with gps status-agps reset not work anymore.Anyway thank you @SivaVr solid build
Okay finally flashed that....
it's smooth like hell.. damn
camera working great, but camera not working on telegram, face unlock...... it also has slow charging issue....
Can confirm that no third party apps that use the camera work. I also tried installing Google camera 2.7 and that didn't work either. That also caused problems in the stock camera app. I had to clear the camera cache and data to fix this.
The second thing is that the cLock widget can't get weather feed.
The last thing I noticed is that the app drawer despite choosing a dark theme remains in this light gray color.
Everything else seem to work fine as of now.
Will it become official
I have been using this 15.1 ROM for a week and all I use regularly works well. I use it as a daily driver and am awaiting any improvements or additions going toward an Official version. Thanks for the ROM.

The ROM is indeed the best one among all oreo, very stable almost like official... keep the good work going :good:
one question:
Can we use weather provider from lineage os source ? I have downloaded and installed yahoo weather provider but can't apply it with clock widget.
What camera blobs are used in this ROM?
I see people talking about using Franco Kernel and asking for OOS blobs to be used instead.
That gives me a lot of hope. I don't like Sultan's HAL/OOS v1 blobs, as they don't allow for a long exposure time; maximum shutter speed of 2" just doesn't cut it.
3rd-party camera apps aren't working; is SELinux enforcing?
If so, could somebody switch it to permissive and check if, for example, Bacon Camera works with full 64" shutter speed.

After checking it reboots and stuck on black screen..
I never faced such issue with any rom..
I tried to install this last week but it constantly reboots all the time. It seems to stop rebooting when my sim connection is off. Can someone post the steps on how to flash this rom cause maybe im missing some steps during installation thats why its rebooting. Now im back on PE that i got on xda and not on their official website. This seems to be stable except for the hotspot that is not working. TIA

I also encountered this problem, its because of the automatic encryption of MIUI ROM.
This is how I solved it:
1. Boot to fastboot, then format userdata (fastboot format userdata)
2. Flash OrangeFox, then complete wipe
3. Install the ROM

Unlock your bootloader > Install TWRP (such as orange fox TWRP) > Clean Flash (wipe data, system, cache, dalvik) > Install the rom and dont forget to back up your data in case something goes wrong do it with your own risk.

Just now I enable cam2api and the default camera take green image.
Bugs that I found:
- Charging LED Indicator doesnt work.
- Finger Print works slow (2-3 seconds) while phone is sleeping.
- Sometimes it doesnt respond to my FP, then 2nd time it recognizes.
Except that it is a perfect rom for me.

I didnt use oreo version of pixel experience and yeah this one is stable. didnt crash yet. I am using for more than a week.

Yeah I think that was beta and now it's stable but rom is of an earlier date
For the people compaining about random reboots, download and install the latest MIUI10 developer ROM using MiFlash, then re-install your custom recovery and the ROM. Other users have reported that this procedure solves that problem. (or you can just flash the latest firmware using a custom recovery, I don't like this way because it caused problems in other Redmi device, but is your choice).
While trying the latest available OFFICIAL build (10/24th)
0.- UI is a little bit laggy. Things get worse if you use a live wallpaper, so avoid them and use a lighter launcher if possible.
1.- Youtube and other cast-enabled apps won't detect cast receivers in the network (no cast button in the app), the screen mirroring settings can detect them but trying to connect to any receiver results in a soft-reboot (SystemUI crashes).
2.- Wifi hotspot is broken.
3.- Waking up the device (either using the power button or the fingerprint sensor) takes almost 1 second.
4.- Automatic brightness is too high, and the minimum brightness (moving the slider to the left and disabling automatic brightness) is too low.
5.- Battery life seems subpar compared to Oreo builds (even if using greenify or similar apps). Is not *that* bad (like 1 hour less of SOT), but it seems like the kernel or the battery management settings still need customization (inb4 "use greenify").
6.- Some times the gesture-based navigation don't work or crashes (swipe up to see recents stops working and quick app switch doesn't work). This started happening after installing another launcher, when it happens the device must be restarted to make it work again). So, if possible, keep the old navigation buttons enabled.
Just as a sidenotes:
* After installing the Magisk ZIP, the Magisk Manager APK must be donwloaded and installed manually.
* Device fingerprint can be altered using Magisk to pass Safety Net without issues. vince's and whyred stock MIUI fingerprints works just fine.
* Camera2 is disabled. Can be enabled manually by altering build.prop, or by Magisk modules. After enabling it, ARnova's GCAM modded APK works flawlessly. Snap camera it's still crap.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

Noticed some app freezing (2gb ram) but fixed it with kernel manager and it's working good now.
Sir, i found some bug. Theme go back to default after reboot. Before reboot i set pitch black as my default theme. This happen with other themes too. The offline charging animation need be adjusted. Bit laggy at animation when im do multitasking but solved after i set swap ram. This rom is good because a lot of customisation. Thank you for developing an official rom for our rosy.

Apart from this the rom is stable enough to be used as my daily driver. Loved your work, Arpon. You did great with crDroid 6.8 as well which I was using prior to this.

Super smooth and beautiful, but have some problems... Gyroscope does NOT WORK. Please fix it guys and dont make visual changes, it will be the perffect ROM!
Bugs
I have no priority in these matters, I test ROM only in the basics, but this was the best I have ever found. However, I found two problems, at first the microphone mutes on WhatsApp, it just comes back by restarting the phone, and the chrome has flaws, closes alone. For now, and the battery will drain at night, but this Rom is incredible
Edit: the microphone really stops working, it is muted, in all applications, everyone. But in the settings it is enabled and normal, and the recording icon appears, but there is no sound
Edit 2: the microphone is a problem, very low, I tested my audios on many different cell phones. That's when it works, right. Recurrent hatching, some apps operate poorly. Some annoying details that I haven't seen yet if there is a solution because not everything is translated in the settings for Portuguese-Brazil

Hey, noobs here.
I just installed the ROM and it looks like that everything runs smooth, can't really tell, I didn't check them all the basic, or features that you provide. But anyway I found a couple of problem that I can't say if it's a bug or not. The first one that I found the mic input is a little bit low than my previous installed ROM (I used PE 9). the second problem is, My app (Duolingo) had some trouble accessing the microphone, every time I tap/turn the mic on, it always immediately closed. It didn't crash when I used to send a VN through WhatsApp chat tho.
Really hope you can fix this soon, I'd really love to use this ROM as my daily basis ROM.

I'm facing two issues one is bluetooth is not working properly I have to reconnect everytime to connect a device by removing it first second is ideal battery drain as I have this phone for only modify perpose and I just use it as my secondary phone but still on a regular use I'm getting 8-10hr battery

Now I know First I Have To Format Data To Remove Encryption
Issues
This ROM gave me lots of issues. It shuts down without a single reason and then boots on 4th try. It doesn't see USB devices without rebooting first. It doesn't charge without turning it off first. Sure, it's a nice ROM with cool customiztion features, but i'm tired already. Yes, i am aware that kernel probably gave me most of these issues, but i don't really want to try other kernels because flashing is a pain. I hope it gets fixed. Also those kimetsu no yaiba bars are cool, i love them.

Not great but you can use the GCam port. It is much better.
Have been using last a few days. ROM is great, really fast, customizable. Gives you the Pixel-ish feel. But I have a massive battery drain like MIUI. Phone doesn't go to deep sleep. I couldn't find the solution yet. I have PowerManager.SuspendLockout, PowerManagerService.Display, PowerManagerService.Wakelocks and smp2p-sleepstate wakelocks. I've searched a bit. Someone says turn off tap2wake, tap2sleep functions - which I did and didn't solve my problem - another user says turn off pocket detection feature - which Pixel Experience doesn't have or I couldn't located. I am gonna use a few more days to find the problem but if it doesn't work I will switch the LineageOS 18.

I've tested and wakelocks are caused by AOD. Brightness is full and doesn't let phone to go deep sleep. Turning off should eliminate the issue but it is such a cool feature. Hope it will be fixed near feature.
Also for FOD... i can successfully register my FP but it keeps saying not recognized when I try to unlock.
Anyone face the same issue?

i tried both this and havoc. they run really smooth!
but does the clock move around to prevent burn-ins?

I will be revisiting the rom soon. Understand that not many people are working on this device

Having the always on display is not advisable. Just enable it for notifications

FOD improvements are available on Android 11 build by another developer
