Hello:

Redmi Pro Globle Edition vs Chinese Edition

Dear all,
I'm curious about Xiaomi Redmi Pro, but I'm so new with Xiaomi device. Does anyone know what is difference between Redmi Pro Globle Edition vs Chinese Edition. I heard that devices have the same hardware, but Chinese version cannot flash MIUI International firmware. I just wonder if it has the same hardware, why it cannot flash international firmware. Can anyone tell me the difference between Redmi Pro Globle Edition vs Chinese Edition?
As far as i know you can flash the Global rom when it comes out without any problems.
There is no Global ROM or Global version device. Redmi Pro is only for china market, and have only chinease original MIUI version ROM. Reselers flash custom roms for some markets so that is not original ROM. You can flash custom recovery TWRP and flash ROM from xiaomi.eu. Difference is that custom eu rom does not have chinease language throught system, no bloatware and much more language selections, it has google play services etc. When Xiaomi release a Redmi Pro for global market, than we will get original Global ROM from Xiaomi, till than you can use custom ROMs.

Rom compatible with Redmi 3S Global

Hi,
I'm looking for roms compatible with global version of the 3s. I live in France and need the B20 support.
I've read (some time ago) that lineage wasn't supporting this band, but I can't neither find this post back, of find an updated information.
Any one can help me ?
Thanks

As i know the chinese variant is the only one who actually gets miui12 over updater, the europe and global rom for this device(davinci) are still in closed beta.
If we can trust this source it looks so:
https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/archive/firmware/davinci/
No, as far as I know the EEA MIUI 12 for the Mi 9T is not yet available, as of July 6. Last I heard there were some bugs that Xiaomi developers are still ironing out. Soon, just be patient!
There is no MI one either which is Global.
They did release the 12.0.1.0 QFJMIXM version but it was pulled backed as it had some problem and it wasn't signed by the mods, devs released it directly and as of now there is no OTA for it; people who got it, could not update.
Only China and India ROMs are available, Mi 9T as a whole is still lagging behind when we were supposed to get the update by June end.

Xiaomi Redmi Watch - Chinese Version - Looking for a global version firmware

Hello,
I bought a Xiaomi Redmi Watch on AliExpress last year.
Before that I read a article about the watch. According that article it would be possible to change the watch to English but it is NOT possible.
The Xiaomi Watch App does only find the watch when I choose the region of China.
In all other regions the App can't found the watch.
Is there a firmware update to change it?
I have the same situation.. any help please !??

I have a Redmi watch 2. Also bought from aliexpress. Maybe if someone can get the Poco Watch firmware and find a way to install, then, you can resolve the issue.

Hopefully Xiaomi/Redmi will also release a reworked Version like for the K30 5G (MIUI V12.1.6.0) ( https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/picasso/ ) where they seem to fixed that issue? Took them a whole month (from January to February) for the K30 and they still release MIUI 12.1.x for other devices and are cripling google services. . .
Are they incrementally testing how much ****storm they will get if they really remove google services for MIUI 12.5 for all non global devices?

Am i interpreting it correctly that GMS is not preinstalled in MIUI 12.1.1 so GSF is not working. They removed GMS from already sold phones by OTA updates?
They now are testing how much needs/questions arise for already sold phones?

Been using QFJEUXM Android 9 and 10 all stock versions, absolutely never ever had or heard (go through the other threads) that Google Play Services dont work.
Also, since December, using MIUI 12.5/A11 Xiaomi eu weekly builds, with no problems (related to Google Play Services), neither me nor anyvody else reported ib rhe corresponding thread.
When stating such things, fully state the name/version of your firmware. Also, if you were playing with firmwares/ROMs (out of official stock and OTA), make sure to Factory reset
Edit:
Ok, I was talking about European and Global, not Chinese stock. Don't know if Chinese supports Google
However, Xiaomi.eu weekly and stable (I also used Xiaomi.eu Stable latest A10) are based on stock CN, and Google (Playstore, Play Services, apps) work out of the box
Exact Version name for Redmi K20 (CN) where it happend to me is
MIUI V12.1.1.0.RFJCNXM
It is a stock rom (china non global) without ever done any modding. So no unlocked bootloader or root available or other non stock rom installed.
Previous stock rom was i think MIUI V12.0.6.0.QFJCNXM with Android 10 which got OTA upgraded. At least up to the Android 10 (non global) Version it had functioning google services included which could be used after installing google play store.
Seems like it happend to other non global stock devices too while upgrading from Android 10 to Android 11 to a MIUI 12.1.x version
Here a thread about the CC9 Pro MIUI 12.1.3
https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/kzd2f5
custom rom Xiaomi.eu seems to insert GAPPS even if they are not included in the rom
"Moreover, Chinese MIUI beta builds don’t really include any Google apps and services which the guys at Xiaomi.eu take care of as well"
MIUI 12.5 Xiaomi.eu update released for many Mi, Redmi & Poco devices
The MIUI 12.5 beta 21.3.3 update is now out and about for a bunch of global devices already, thanks to Xiaomi.eu community builds.

Oops, interesting, I was not aware of (the very recent) RFJCNXM 12.1.1:
Xiaomi Firmware Updater
The ultimate script that provides firmware packages for Xiaomi devices.

Did you try Factory reset (Format Data in TWRP)
Btw, on Xiaomi.eu weekly (latest 21.3.3), MIUI 12.5/Android 11, based on CN, Google Play, Services, apps work out of the box
Btw, in Settings, About, does it say for you MIUI 12.1 or 12.5 (Android 11) and what is the Security Patch date?

Haven't made a factory reset yet. Currently making a backup of my data. But after reading the other links i am skeptical if a factory reset can get GSF working again. Maybe i'll try waiting 3-4 weeks to see if they release a new fixed version like for the K30 5G
In Settings All Specs
Android version: 11
Android security update: 2021-02-01
MIUI version: MIUI 12.1.1Stable 12.1.1.0 (RFJCNXM)
So it's like Indian MIUI, where it messed device to point where it was unusable.
Stick with stable a10 and research what they do to make a11 daily
Maybe switch to Xiaomi.eu weekly builds, MIUI 12.5/A11, Google out of the box
Already 6 or so releases since December, stable (I'm using for daily driver), tomorrow expecting new release
You can find a thread here on XDA with instructions (basically, flash the zip from TWRP, wipe Dalwik and Cache and first time when jumping from stock do FORMAT DATA - not just wipe)
Seems like i'll need to wait a month to get a functioning phone with GMS again. Have just seen that the current version MIUI V12.1.1.0.RFJCNXM got Rolled back https://mirom.ezbox.idv.tw/en/phone/davinci/roms-cn-stable/
Under the OTA updater the last changelog is also no longer available. Now it reads only "You don't have permissions to access the update log. Make sure the account you signed in with has the required permissions."
Maybe they will have released a new version without broken GMS by then. At least it took them about a month to release new versions for
rolled back versions of https://mirom.ezbox.idv.tw/en/phone/cmi/roms-cn-stable/ and https://mirom.ezbox.idv.tw/en/phone/picasso/roms-cn-stable/

Ok, so there is a general link for davinci:

India:

For Global and EEA stable i have found them at the history links which are just after the latest listed version (for example)
Redmi K20 / Mi 9T – EEA Stable ROMLstest V12.0.4.0.QFJEUXM" (history) <- link
from https://mirom.ezbox.idv.tw/en/phone/davinci/
Global
Redmi K20 / Mi 9T – Global Stable Version List – MIUI Download Xiaomi Official ROM
mirom.ezbox.idv.tw
EEA/(EU i think this is the same as EEA?)
Redmi K20 / Mi 9T – EEA Stable Version List – MIUI Download Xiaomi Official ROM
mirom.ezbox.idv.tw
Another site i found is https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/davinci/. But it seems like that site does not factor in roll backs and has all versions mixed in one list.
I am still sitting on the rolled back MIUI 12.1.1 (CN) version.
Thanks. For EEA I forgot I had to try "eea", not "eeu"
Xiaomi Firnware Updater lists also Xiaomi.eu releases
